Review 1：Garage is not close to hotel. Breakfast ? So-So ! Looks ok, but it's all glitz, no warmth in the whole place. It's good for business, I guess, I did not like it. Overpriced for what one receives.

Review 7：We had to change our room twice because of our level of cleanliness. The staff were very helpful and apologetic through the experience. However the management should probably spend a bit more on general upkeep.

Review 17：No restaurant but went to the seaside to eat which was quite lovely and close by in walking distance.

Review 19：Room only had Italian mains plug fittings - no Euro Plugs. Did manage to borrow an adaptor, but I think a Europlug shoud be standard in such a hotel at this level

Air-conditioning was quiet & effective.Tea & coffee making facilities in room (no milk provided). Service was great. Breakfast (included) would have been great if the waiter had not forgotten to light the candles under the bain-marie. The staff were very pleasant & helpful.

Review 25：The room coffee & tea making facilities were poor - 2 Styrofoam cups, 1 coffee sachet, 1 decaff. coffee sachet, 1 tea bag, 1 cammomile tea bag, no milk (not even UHT) and 14 sachets of sugar ??. Not quite 4 star standard.

Review 26：Reception staff were excellent and saved me time, money and potential hassle when I had to purchase extra baggage allowance on line from Ryanair. Above and beyond their remit, they did this on my behalf, avoiding the necessity of me attempting this at the airport. Room was small but clean, bright and contemporary. Bed was firm and comfortable without being hard. Bathroom facilities were spotless with constant hot water. Shower cubicle fine (plastic door a bit flimsy but not a problem) - no bath.

Review 31：There were warning signs regarding that refurbishments were being carried out. I didn't expect them to be carrying them out on occupied rooms so I was surprised to discover on my return one afternoon that my door was being replaced and I couldn't use my room. The panelled, wooden door was replaced with a plain one which matched the furnishings in the room - from the cheaper end of Ikea! Pity that the bedrooms are so bland when the public areas are so nice. As a single traveller I was given a room behind the lifts with a view onto the substantial fire escape which is often the case in larger hotels.

Review 75：When I arrived with my pregnant belly, I had heavy luggages, but therewas nobody to help (there are quite some steps to enter the hotel). Ientered the hotel, leaving my luggages on the street, and asked forhelp. I heard the receptionist asking by phone "is there anybodythat can help with luggages?"... So, rather then waiting on thestreet "somebody" coming, I just took the luggages inside bymyself! Honestly, for such price, a 4* hotel should have somebodyhelping guests with the steps and with the elevator.

Review 76：The breakfast is nicely organized with both sweet and salty stuff. Thehotel also grants an abundant buffet for people leaving early in themorning (starting from 5.15am). This is very convenient, as most of theguests have early flights from Brindisi airport.

Review 85：Brindisi was our departure city from Italy, and we stayed at theOrientale only because it was near to the airport. The parking garagewas confusing, and Brindisi was not so nice. The city seem closed up ona Sunday. One restaurant only could we find that was open. We left veryearly and missed breakfast, but at least they made some coffee for us.

Review 90：This is a very traditional hotel and a great pleasure to stay in. I received a courteous welcome from the dignified and experienced staff. The lobby is very attractive and I was very pleased with being in the centre of the lovely old town of Brindisi where, to my delight a Pizzica band were playing very nearby. The room was very spacious and comfortable, with everything you would need: air conditioning, TV, tea and coffee and little fridge with inexpensive items. For late arrivals before 10pm there were snacks available from room service. Breakfast was another delight and perfect welcome to Italia and all this area has to offer. Dont hesitate to stay here - it's wonderful.
