Review 6：Hotel was a gem, beautifully restored 15th century, in a lovely peaceful old Tuscan village. Comfortable rooms, ours had a balcony with lovely views, well stocked bathroom, excellent breakfast with eggs cooked to order and homemade fig jam to die for! Restaurant food was delicious. Staff so helpful. We LOVED it.

Review 7：Fantastic place to stay in Toscana near Firenze. Perfect location, very quiet place. Nice and clean spacious rooms. The stuff is wonderful, very helpfull. Great breakfast. Free parking. Do not search any other place to stay. Artimino is very close, go there and find Bottega Peruzzi (Enoteca Ristorante) - delicious antipasti and wine from the region. Villa S.Michele is really your place! We promise to return one day!

Review 8：The hotel is in a beautifully remodeled historical building. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The amenities are awesome: a local olive line of cosmetics. Our room was big and beautiful, the bathroom also big and organised, with lots of space for your things. The breakfast is delicious! Besides the buffet, they even make the eggs especially for you as requested (scrambled or omelet) with the ingredients that you choose. The city is cute and the "Calici di Stelle" festival was awesome!

We would love to stay at this hotel again. We had some of the best pasta dinners we've ever had at the restaurant at the hotel. Thank you from California!

Review 10：Interior of the hotel is just perfect. This tiny hotel in an old house from 16th century makes you feel relaxed. It`s based in Carmignano, an old small city on the top of a hill, surrounded by Tuscanian slopes- ideal for driving around Tuscany.

Review 38：We used Carmignano as a base to explore the north of Florence and Lucca. It turned out that Hotel Villa S Michele was the best during our 21 days trip. Never thought that there is such a gem in a small village. We spent 3 nights there and were well pampered by the hotel staffs. It has 11 rooms but at all time we saw 3-4 staffs on duty. They are very friendly and helpful. We had a room with balcony which we enjoyed the evening before dinner. Particularly, we love the toiletries provided. Breakfast was also very generous and well attended by hotel staff. The on site restaurant was great. The large elevator is a big plus as we travelled with luggage. Convenient free parking and excellent Wifi. We love this small and quiet village.

Review 41：Carmignano was a tad bit hard to find, but we were confused by the signage of being in the region of Carmignano v. finding the town.

We were most impressed by the unusually friendly and helpful staff who gave us directions, helped us with luggage, and even made arrangements for us to have an early breakfast on the morning we were leaving early to head into Florence. Our room was large, comfortable, and very clean. Do not miss having dinner there -- the steak dinner was as good as we have ever tasted!
