Review 1：Breakfast was a humble affair. Padre Pio would have approved of such a breakfast.
Review 2：Padre Pio's presence is everywhere, literally everywhere. The rooms, the corridors, the reception, the exterior walls....
Review 3：Manager of the hostel sent as sms, what time are we going to arrive. Very clean rooms. Perfect locality, close to Padre Pio. Great price- also breakfast included. Fine wi-fi connection.
Review 4：There were no directions on how to find the hotel once we arrived on the bus. Had to find a ride with a local. Did not know that we had to go to the neighboring restaurant to find the owners and get our key. We arrived before 10pm and the whole place was dark. Luckily someone else who was staying there spoke English and told us where we needed to go.

Review 6：Paolo is often out of the hotel on work activities and therefore when we arrived it looked deserted with no one answering the front or back doors, but the staff in the restaurant next door quickly contacted him.

Review 9：Nothing pretentious about this place. A small room with two or three single beds (the typical "double twin" in the euro style). Basic and cheap. Packaged croissant and melba toast breakfast,but fresh unlimited coffee.
Review 10：We booked Quad room (for 4) and were given a very small room and tight, to fit 4 adults! Not much room to move. So DO NOT book Quad room unless you tell them in advance you want spacious room.

Review 12：Having booked two rooms, months in advance, we did not appreciate being emailed 2 hours ahead of our arrival to be told we would have to share a room. We were travelling with our 30 yr old daughter and the room we were given was very small and stuffy. Air conditioning was available at an extra cost, which was waived for us because of the room change,

Review 26：Wrong information was just given to me regarding location from the central bus stop to the hotel, from the guy I asked from the near souvenir store. Thus, I told Paolo (hotel owner)to give Booking.com the right direction & easy way to get to the hotel from the bus station.

Our towels weren't changed everyday..

It should have been discussed with us when we checked in. That night there was no one in the front desk for us to talk too. Very discouraging......

It waslocated just steps from the Church where Padre Pio lived and ministered,the main reason for our visit to San Giovanni Rotondo. The proprietortold us we could stay parked at the Hotel and walk to the Church...whichwe did. A great place to stay, especially budget friendly!
