Park Hotel sells fast on our site. In the center of Desenzano, Park Hotel now features a rooftop swimming pool with Jacuzzi and a sun terrace. Set on the lake promenade, it combines classic architecture with modern facilities.
Hotel Park was built in the classic, Italian style of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It has been managed with care and attention by the same family since 1968.
The spacious lounge features antique pieces of furniture and comfortable, velvet sofas on marble floors from Brescia. These are just some of the main features of Park Hotel's interior design.
You can admire a superb view of the lake from anywhere in the hotel, but especially from the cozy veranda where the buffet breakfast is served.

Review 1：We were not informed that the hotel was under construction. The lobby was not available and bar, front desk and lounge were all pushed together. Parking lot was filled with construction trucks.

Review 2：We've stayed here at least 5 times. Always well run, beautiful rooms, great location.

Review 3：Excellent location, a couple of minutes walk from the bus stop coming from Verona. I would give it an extra star if the hotel will provide a kettle for tea/coffee. However, can't blame the hotel too much as it seems that Europe as a whole do not have this facility. One thing it should copy from the Far East or UK.

Review 4：Breakfast could of had a bit more choice & air con was broken so stuck on hot only & we got far too warm at night.

Review 6：The only thing that we didn't like was the bell tower right behind the hotel that went off every 15 minutes from 8am onwards each day. No chance of sleeping in!

Review 7：The location of the hotel is perfect. right in the town, and close to the ferry. Just a 10 minute walk from the train station too. Our room (suite 356) was amazing. Lake view, right at the front, but very quiet. Once we got to know the staff they were amazingly helpful. Max in the restaurant was really lovely. If the weather had been nicer, we would have used the roof top pool. We did use the complimentary bikes a few times, which was a bonus.

Review 8：Hotel staff are very professional and helpful. Rooms are exceptionally clean. Excellent location, close to plenty of good restaurants and ice cream shops! A short walk to the catch the ferry and catamaran.

Review 9：Lake view was poor, had expected good balcony and lake view but only had very small balcony and parital view only from small balcony. Staff were nice but not overly attentive, felt like they didn't take time to get to know customers/make you feel welcome and not just another passing traveller.

Review 12：It's lovely to have a pool and deck chairs in such a central location. The pool is situated on the top floor with views over the lake. Very relaxing. Comfortable rooms and a good varied breakfast.

Review 13：The fact that phone calls directly to the hotel in advance had led us to expect a different holiday experience than we encountered. The appallingly dismissive attitude of the manager when problems were brought to her attention. The 2 days without towels or emptied bathroom bin. The sense that because we weren't regular customers we were valued less. The comments "Where are the other people with problems? - I don't see them" and "This is my hotel, I do not have to provide service at your whim" in response to the absent towels and bathroom service issue. So disappointing. And this as a special treat for a special occasion.

Review 15：Breakfast poor. Hotel is very expensive for a fairly average hotel. (800 euros for 4 nights inc a couple of drinks in bar each day) We asked to borrow an iron and were only allowed to use the expensive ironing service, due to health and safety apparently (a joke).

Review 19：The junior suites are large but note it doesn't guarantee you a lake view or a balcony. I think although we got a lake view I'd had rather paid a bit less and got a standard room with a balcony. The fourth floor rooms near the pool look the best for this. Also they offer an ironing service at 5E an item but don't have irons you can use for free. I think this isn't unusual for the area but still very expensive none the less!

Review 20：Had a wonderful stay here. The staff were very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. Location is perfect, right on the waterfront, and 2 minutes from the centre of town. Breakfast was great. Lots of variety both hot and cold.

Review 23：Beautiful hotel over looking the lake, very friendly and helpful staff, lovely roof top pool and two mins walk to lovely places to eat, drink and shop. If you are looking for a great place to stay, it is here. We hired a boat and sailed around the lake, got a ferry to other locations on the lake. It is a two minute walk to the ferry. The train station with trains from milan central is just ten mins away. The hotel team helped get train times for us and the best route for our next destination. The breakfast was great, you can borrow the hotel bikes free of charge to explore. We had a junior suite with a lake view and were so happy with the room. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Review 24：Excellent location, lake view was stunning! Staff were exceedingly helpful - Lost wallet in a shop on our last day which had closed for lunch. Thankfully to efficient staff the shop owner was traced and we retrieved it. Breakfast was delicious, plenty of healthy choices.

Review 29：Being picky but we were in room 116, which is first floor at the rear and just above the kitchen. This meant that at 07:00/07:30 we were woken by the sounds of a busy kitchen. I would stay at this hotel again but request a different room.

Review 30：The hotel is situated on the edge of the lake and only a two minute walk from the harbour and if you exit the hotel from the rear you walk straight in to the old town. The roof top pool with bar and snacks looks out over the lake and the view is amazing! Staff were friendly and helpful.

You can just leave the car keys in the reception to get underground parking service. Very reach and tasty breakfast. The same restaurant is being used as chef restaurant in the evening. Not cheap but highly recommended. Very nice trattoria near the hotel. Nice, clean and newly equipped. Highly recommended.

Review 42：Nothing !!! The only small issue I had was with the eggs at breakfast were not warm, but it wasn't worth complaining about, as everything else more than made up for it.

From the moment of enquiry about the hotel until the minute we left, the staff were fantastic, welcoming, attentive and friendly. Our suite was spot on, exactly what I wanted, with a great view of lake and surrounding area. Everything was comfortable and clean, and not forgetting the location a 5 minute walk from the centre of Desenzano. The selection of breakfast was very good, from continental to continental version of an english breakfast.

Review 52：I was supposed to have a lake view and I did but the view was a bit spoiled by the outer wall adjoining the balcony on one side. The other rooms have much better position. The sink in the bathroom was not a desiner one as it was announced )))) however, it was comfortable and I did not mind it at all.

The interior of the hotel is very pleasant with a touch of Italian style but with mordern and brand-new rooms and bathrooms. Review 64：Service from staff was sub standard. Rooms were small Decor in hotel is quiet dated and whilst they are going for the antique look, it actually looks tired and worn out. Arrived early afternoon to check in and then attend a business meeting which required clothes to be pressed, no facilities in the hotel available to have this done until housekeeping arrived later that night at 7:30pm. Extremely poor in my view!!

The roof top pool is a nice touch although it's not the biggest area so be prepared for all of the loungers to be taken if you go up mid-afternoon. The hotel is well located within the town centre, minutes walk from all of the restaurants, shops and ferry terminal. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.
