Reviews for Casale San Bartolomeo

Review 1:Only small advise - cafe could be served from cafe machine --- it is only advise !!!

Review 2:Perfect stay - many thanks for all - we know that any guest will be more than glad - highly recommended - Gabriele's cousine is marvelous - don't miss it. Great breakfast on the tarrasse

Review 3:The whole family gave us a very warm welcome. The house is beautiful and the proprietors very nice and helpful, we couldn't have felt better. Mr. Gabriele gave us a lot of valuable advice, which proved very useful during our trip throughout Italy, of which he has a profound knowledge.

Review 4:This time of year (sept.), the duvet was a bit too warm, but sleeping without was a bit too cold. A thin blanket instead would have served well, but then again, we didn't ask for one.

Review 5:After some 500 m. of adventure on a steep gravel and rock trail, you end up in an oasis of silence, where at night, only the crickets seem to keep you company. Gabrielle is an excellent host, who is well-informed about Umbria. He is pleased to share information about the do's and don'ts of the neighbourhood with you. He's also a good cook, if you decide to take dinner at the house.

Review 6:The location was stunning, tucked a way in rural Umbria. The hosts were fantastic and the cooking was a true delight! The stay was a real highlight of our holiday.

Review 7:Gabrielle was very helpful. He prepared us an excellent Umbrian dinner and an excellent breakfast. The location was off the beaten track but with a magnificent view of the hilly countryside.

Review 8:The place is really peaceful and relaxing, situated at an edge of a forest. We were there only 3 days and were visited by young foxes twice within this time;). The landlord is very accommodating and just pleasant man. His cooking deserves a special mention. We enjoyed one all 3 days and didn't regret. Don't miss your chance to have a great dinner in a terrace of the country house being served by a personal chef!

The Fine Print
