Reviews for Rosenthalis Hotel

Review 1:There was a gap of about 2cm under the door and cold air was coming in. In the fridge was still the hummus from the guest before. The cups and glasses were not cleaned at all. The showers was broken and the water came out where it shouldn't. The person at the reception couldn't speak a single word english

Review 2:breakfast, location

Review 3:After checking into my room and leaving for the evening, I received a call that I'd been placed in the wrong room, and that I would have to return. A slight inconvenience. No clock in the room.

Review 4:Location, for my needs, was great. Breakfast was good and plentiful, but not overabundant.

Review 5:During check-in the reception tried to charge me with additional fee for baby cot, but in the property policy clearly mentioned that the kids up to 2 years provided with a bed for free.

Review 6:Nice terrace with sunset view! big room and nice bathroom. Very good breakfast!

Review 7:The room had no shades over the windows and (glass-paned) door so the outside lights shined in all night. In addition, there were no front desk staff on duty at check-in time (3 pm) and luckily we had a phone to call the posted number. Still took about a quarter of an hour for a rather bureaucratic woman to show up. In short, it's more like an excellent b&b than a hotel!

Review 8:The location, the room, the breakfast and the breakfast staff, and the price!

Review 9:Not much service. Small hotel. Not too professional, but courteous. Don't expect too much luxury. But, nice big room. although no bathroom lock & TV didn't work & noone to talk to about issues. Plan to have a nice breakfast at Art Cafe or at a restaurant in the Galleries area. Don't bother with their breakfast or you might be disappointed

Review 10:Nice big room. Worth the price.

Review 11:The room was shabby and dirty, especially the bathroom, which had hair (the unspeakable kind) in it. The toilet seat was also completely broken (as in, it had fallen off), and the heating unit was too loud to sleep with. The staff is generally unprofessional. When we asked to have the toilet and heating unit fixed, the receptionist said it would be done that night -- it wasn't. When we asked again the next morning, the breakfast receptionist told us to call the manager OURSELVES, and it wasn't fixed until that night. You can hear the neighbors next door through the wall. There were kids downstairs making noise all night. The bed is like a wooden board. There was no shakshuka at breakfast on Saturday.

Review 12:Mosquitoes in room. Off-putting odor emitted from waste pipes in the floor of main dining area.

Review 13:Great view from the rooftop balcony. Nice private courtyard attached to room. Amazing shower and comfy bed. Great buffet breakfast selection.

Review 14:The room was not ready at 3 or at 4 either. manager asked if we'd like to get a free upgrade at another location but since we already had our suitcases with us, out of the car, we declined. At that point the housecleaning lady was called so that the room was ready only at 4:30. We had to wait & wasted time doing so.

Review 15:location was good. room very clean & comfortable. Breakfast was pretty good with a lot of variety.

Review 16:Slow bathroom drain.

Review 17:Great stay! Nicely appointed rooms, ours had a beautifully tiled bathroom and a comfortable, big bed. Great roof deck with view and the breakfast was the best we had in Israel!

Review 18:Side to Etti the staff need to be looked at

Review 19:I feel obligated to leave a good review because a booking mistake by management had them upgraded us to a nicer room and asked us to leave a good review saying "how wonderful the place is". The thing is that the way they treat us when we arrived and by the way they forced us out of the room the following day 11:01am was so unpleasant just seems to be the only thing I remember from the stay. It's a shame how a potentially nice place has such poor employees hurting this business.

Review 20:The reception and check out. Unprofessional. After a few days still waiting for my bill - have not seen an email yet.

Review 21:The location was fine. Free parking. Big room, coffee/tea, free wine and chocolates, mini refrogirator

Review 22:Staff was very friendly. Room was well air-conditioned, which was a big plus, as it was so hot that weekend. Breakfast was very nice. I enjoyed the balcony when I had access to it. "Sister hotel" had lovely dinner.

Review 23:Lack of service and service personnel. When the power went out in theentire hotel, the lobby was locked and the staff had left. No oneanswered the phone and no one was able to help us. If the gueststhemselves had not spent 2 1/2 hours trying to find the problem,we would have spent the whole night without power and we would havehad spoiled food for breakfast. Unbelievable lack of professionalismand service

Review 24:The Location and ambiance of the hotel

Review 25:The queen size bed in our family room was comfortable enough but the additional 2 single beds on which our teens slept were exceptionally uncomfortable and they ended up sleeping on mattresses on the floor. The receptionist was nice but not professional. The feeling was of a place run by a group of teenagers without much care.

Review 26:The location is good and quiet. The room is spacious and has great view. There's a fireplace in the room which must be nice in winter. There's a balcony with chairs on the roof facing the view.

Review 27:The staff spoke no English at all, not even the basics. No Wi-Fi was available and the room wasn't clean when we got there.

Review 28:Breakfast was amazing, really the only reason to stay at this hotel. Location was also good.

Review 29:The hotel is an older building with interesting architecture in a historic part of Safed. Our room was fantastic with a great view of the mountains. The breakfast was excellent: many items to choose from. One of the best Isreali breakfasts I've had at a hotel. Really great staff.

Review 30:Our room floor was so dirty that we could not walk without shoes.

Review 31:The staff were awesome and so was breakfast.. For only a few shekel extra they allow you to use the Rimonim Hotel pool.......

Review 32:Our room had only the window in the door looking on a small path.

Review 33:Super Breakfast with a big choice and great quality. Very comfortable bed.

Review 34:Great location, amazing views, and very clean and comfortable rooms.

Review 35:Very bad WiFi connections, constantly broken down, interrupted

Review 36:Ambiance, scenery, building

Review 37:Beautiful room, great location.

Review 38:Staff was accommodating, very nice

Review 39:Loved it a great and interesting place to stay, not the normal hotel experience, but thats what we were looking for

Review 40:Quaint little bed and breakfast style.

Review 41:Unfriendliness of receptionist and bad management. In general a sense that the hotel is not run by professionals.

Review 42:Location

Review 43:There is only someone at reception a few hours a day which is confusing on first arrival.

Review 44:All good. TV and wifi not functional

Review 45:location, room, breakfast
