Review 1：Ideally you do need a car if staying at the Palace as it is a fair walk to the town centre.

Review 3：A superb location for exploring the lake. Close to two lovely towns. We rode to Sirmione by bicycle. The spa facilities were modern, spotlessly clean and wonderfully relaxing. The staff are helpful and friendly, it is clean and the room layouts have been thought out well. Plenty of tasty choices for breakfast and easy parking.

Review 4：Location is not directly by the lake. Its a long walk from hotel to the central part of Sirmione. More variety of food in breakfasts needed.

Review 12：The employees in the reception were friendly, professional and very serviceminded. One of them booket a table for us at a top restaurant in Sirmione in less that five minutes late in the evening just after we arrived the hotel.

Review 21：The wlan was regularly over-used, and most of the time impossible toget online. As we spent quite some time at the hotel itself, this wayquite a shame.Within walking distance there are only two restaurants close by, and no convencience store. This was not a huge issue, just something to be aware of.

The staff was overall extremely helpful and friendly, which really made an extra positive impact on the whole experience. Definitely would go back again.

On another occasion it felt like we were being told off for not making prior arrangements for the courtesy bus when we had. When we pointed out we had pre booked and the other receptionist confirmed there was no apology offered.

Review 33：Location is awkward as taxis are extremely unreliable and buses tended to run very late to their timetable . We nearly got stranded in Desenzano one night because of this Hotel runs a shuttle but it is only small, is one way and must be booked in advance (only a couple of runs per day too). Breakfast choices became a little boring after a week of the same Hotel room needed some redecoration as plaster was falling off and soundproofing was poor (bed shook when other room doors closed).

Review 43：The staff members were a bit rude and not helpful at all giving not any information when we checked in. I should've asked them about WiFi, use of SPA, POOL, and on and on if I needed any info about the hotel. In my experience, most hotels gave me some information about their hotel during the Check-in. And the WiFi was very weak. And the pool.. was just freezing!! My kid couldn't do anything although she was fully dressed in swim suits. I know many other hotels w SPA and pool provide guests w warm water, clean towels and bottled water at even lower price than this hotel! And this hotel didn't provide anything of them. Last but not least, I had to keep removing bugs several times at our room. Regarding the price, this hotel was terrible. The worst indeed among other hotels I've been stayed in Italy.

Review 47：If you travel with pets please note that hotel charges 12 EUR/per pet/per day. I think this is a bit excessive, especially since we have 2 dogs. We managed to communicate with hotel trough booking and resolve this issue (negotiate the price), for which I thank the hotel as well as booking. TV remotes are a bit fiddly and one needs to follow instructions.

Review 48：This is a very nice hotel on a good location between Desenzano and Sirmione. Rooms were very clean with nice large balcony. Bad was good and firm. Nice clean bathroom. Staff was accomodating and helpful, managed to secure help when we locked our keys into our car (on Sunday:-) Breakfast had a good selection of food and presentation was nice too. Didn't manage to try the SPA though. Allover a pleasant stay.

This part of the lake is very touristy and busy. During weekdays the Spa is only open in the afternoon. The atmosphere in the bar is not very nice (ie you rather go out for a drink)

Review 105：Booked a room for 4 adults and got a room for 2 adults and2children which consisted of a double bed and two small camp beds. it took 4 attempts with staff to change rooms as they kept telling us that the hotel was fully booked .The family room cost was 885.0euros and the two double rooms were a total of 700 they would not give us back the difference .they blamed booking.com for the cost of the room. Would not stay there again

Rooms are noisy and can hear through the walls. The hotel was clean and has excellent facilities but the rooms do not fit a four star billing.

Review 120：We arrived at 21:30 & no one was there to help with our luggage. It should be 24 hrs service available especially at the 4* hotel. The reception who worked that night was infriendly & had "cant be bothered" & lazy attitude. When we asked for someone to help with our luggage, she just pointed the trolley in the corner & we had to help ourselves. She was the only person in the reception. You dont expect this kind of service at 4* hotel. Breakfast was ok but the service was terrible. The stuff were all miserable, seems to me they are not happy to work there and imposed their frustation & anger to the customers.

Review 122：Parking situation was confusing. We had no trouble parking in public lot basically on hotel property,but dont count on that during peak season. There were very few people on site when we stayed and the public lot is vert small. Get reservation for hotel proprietary underground parking during peak season. Staff at the desk wasn't super accommodating our willing to answer some basic questions. Minimal language barrier didn't seem to be the reason, so not sure what to make of that. Not a big deal as we didn't really need a lot of help.
