Review 1：I didn''t want to leave! My husband had a lame massage in the sp, lots of time wasted while the therapist held one hand on him and stared off into space.

Review 2：Antonio and Francesca and the rest of the staff have greeted me all 4 times I have stayed at this wonderful hotel. That says a lot to me.

Review 4：Good location, helpful and courteous staff. Good breakfast. Nice and and clean rooms, overall well maintaned and good ambiance. We would definitelly consider to stay there again. If you do watch some TV occasionally then it could be nice to know that the channel selection was quite large (sky) and that the sound could be switched to its original language. For a bored business traveller it probably can be nice to know this :-) We stayed in a superior room facing lake garda and we also got a terrace (1/4), the other rooms facing garda lake have balconies. View over garda lake is absolutely stunning.

Review 5：We booked the triple room which was facing a very noisy road and roundabout. The sleep with open windows (what we like) was impossible. The pool is very small, the picture is a kind of misleading.

Review 6：Perfect location. The hotel is very closed to the centre of Descenzano and to the terminal where boats leaves for Sirmione and other attractive places at Garda lake.

Review 9：Perfect location. Wonderful view from windows. Comfortable bed. Given extra pillows when we asked for them. Lovely breakfast with good selection. Pool was clean with comfortable deck chairs and good pool service. Staff at reception were always helpful and accommodating.

Review 10：I couldn't wait to get away from the gold & yellow! Gold furnishings, soft furnishings, tablecloths, bedding, curtains and bright yellow walls EVERYWHERE. In my opinion i feel that the decoration of the place is about 10 years out of date. Many of the chairs also had grubby seats, probably conducive to having wet swimming clothes sat on them?

Review 16：The pool was not heated which made it difficult to swim in except for a short dip. Although wifi was free it was impossible to get in the bedroom, you had to go in to reception which was a little inconvenient. Plus shower was in the bath which was incredibly high to climb in and out of.

Review 19：Lovely location right on the lake. We had a first floor room overlooking the lake (room 19) - which had a big walk out balcony with lounge chairs. The hotel is also very close to town - an easy 3-5 minute walk away.

Review 21：One of my all-time favorite rooms: large room and bathroom, with a separate dressing room. Our room was overlooking the lake, right on the lake, so you can enjoy the sound of the waves coming ashore when on the balcony. Staff were all cordial and informative and parking was right on the property with easy access. Easy to find hotel and an easy walk into town. Gentleman at reception recommended a great restaurant within easy walk from hotel. Would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again if ever we journey here again.

Review 23：A very nice hotel! I stayed in room 29 with a lake view, it's a big room with a big comfy bed. All is clean. The breakfast spread was excellent, good range of choices. Location was perfect for me as only 15-20min walk from the station (it's a walk down to the hotel so inevitably you're walking uphill back to the station), good bus links 5mins away and a big supermarket is a 20minute walk away. Overall I was very pleased!

Review 34：Excellent hotel right on the lake side and a large balcony which was a bonus. The location was perfect with views of the mountains and Sermione in the distance. Breakfast was more than adequate and the lakeside bar made a lovely venue for lunch.

Review 36：We particularly enjoyed the amazing views of the harbour and lake from the breakfast room and pool side. Our room was clean as well as being tastefully decorated and furnished. The service provided by the staff before and during our stay was first class. Francesca was particularly helpful giving advice in getting to and from the hotel by taxi and Milan by train. Other members of staff on reception provided invaluable advice as to how to navigate the various towns on the lake. The town, harbour and marina in Desenzano were a short and pleasant stroll from the hotel. The massages provided at the hotel's spa room were the icing on the cake. Hotel Estee was everything that we had hoped for... and much more.

Review 70：Breakfast was very poor - fruit salad was brown from standing, scambled eggs were cold when first laid out and then warmed up, even yoghurt pots had watery substance, bread was tasteless and dry, ham was translucent, overall it was very unappealing. Wifi did not work for more than two days of the five day stay. Bar outside closed at 10pm. Would have liked to have enjoyed a nightcap with friends after dinner in town and before going to bed.

Review 78：It was a complete waste of money to book a room with a large balcony on the lake. The balcony was not at all private. The bedroom was quite dark because the only light came in from the narrow door leading out on to the balcony. The door was reached from the main part of the bedroom by going up a deep step and going through what was, in effect, a little passage alongside the shower room.

Review 108：The breakfasts were great, lots of fresh fruit, breads, pastries, although the cooked element was limited to scrambled eggs, boiled, and small sausages and bacon pieces. We had one dinner, on the first night, and while the food was extremely good, the restaurant lacked atmosphere and was quiet. The weather was lovely so we wanted to be outside, but the windows don't open. It is, of course, air conditioned. The terrace bar area could be used as a great restaurant, and we did have lunch there.

Review 109：Hotel Estée is in a great spot right on Lake Garda, within easy walking distance of the town and all its amenities. The terrace with swimming pool and bar/cafe area has stunning views of the lake and mountains beyond. What made this 4 star hotel truly special was its staff - warm, friendly, helpful, always ready to go the extra mile, whether giving advice on transport, places to visit, or ensuring guests were comfortable at all times. We were three generations and we agreed the atmosphere ensured our stay was relaxing and fun. We would definitely go back!

Review 110：There was some confusion with the staff. Our on-line reservation text clearly stated that we were two parents with two small children, although the booking website didn't allow us to input the children, When we arrived, we were told that the booking was only for two separate adults, and that each child would be E 50 extra. We were asked for the written booking reference, which we provided, and then were told that the staff would decrease the rate to E25 per child. We also showed the response to us, at the time of booking, that we would be given adjoining rooms, since our children are small, by the staff member, Antonio, when we arrived. This did not happen, so we asked for Antonio, and the clerk announced that he was Antonio! It was quite comic.

Review 111：Lovely location on the water, and also close enough to the town center to make it easy and feasible to walk to restaurants.

Review 112：It is a much longer walk from the station than indicated and a taxi ride was required to get there with all our luggage! &Walking to the station (about 2km) is all uphill! Be warned: not all trains stop at Desenzano!!!!

Review 113：Hotel Estee is located in a lovely part of Desenzano Lake Garda, right on the lake, true to its website pics ;0) It is within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops, and ferries and yet far enough away from the main drag to ensure a great night's sleep with the sounds of the lake. The pool and deck chairs were fabulous for relaxing with views over the lake and our room also had wonderful lake views. Beds were very comfy and breakfast was plentiful and delicious.

Beautiful lake view, Hotel right on lake. 5 minutes walk to restaurants, shopping & ferry wharf to visit other towns around lake. Nice pool & excellent service, free internet, very good buffet breakfast.. We chose this hotel for convenience to train station, 5 minutes by taxi, & train to Venice or Milan airport.

Review 116：Hotel Estee was located near shopping and restaurants. Although you canchoose a water view, we chose the street/city view and it was quiet withthe windows closed. We were very happy with the room. It had a smallbalcony, was very clean and had a good size bathroom. The staff is veryhelpful and the buffet breakfast very good. There is a spa in this hotelbut we did not take advantage of this amenity. No complaints. We wouldstay there again.

Review 117：Our bed was uncomfrtable and made a terrible noise. Emergency repairsdid help a little when we asked at reception but the noise remained. Thebedroom mirror was way too high for people of average height. All in allthe furnishings etc, whilst being fine were perhaps a little "tired".
