Review 1：We would have liked a little more support with the ferry booking, but this is minor complaint.

Review 2：Location, location, location - and the possibility of lodging in something like a castle. The tower rooms (2 rooms connected by a staircase) is great. Restaurant is really good.

Review 3：Total fantasy land! Felt like a princess. Nice comfy beds, wonderful staff, beautiful grounds. Lovely Castle. Remember no lifts or elevators so travel with light bags keep heavy luggage locked in car! You will get all your stair stepping in but each floor is a delight to explore!

Review 4：Not really possible to take a walk except within premises. A bit oldfashioned and over decorated but seems often to be so in Italy. With apool would have been a very different place. Now felt a bit overpriced.We used the nice beach of their sister hotel for 24 e per couple. Wouldhave been a nice gesture to at least to have a small discount.

Review 33：For such a superb hotel the room air conditioning was a considerable let down - and shower and bathroom fittings not consistent with the quality of the rest of the establishment.

Review 34：This is a quality hotel with beautiful features throughout and in a wonderful elevated position with stunning views down onto the bay. The decor is wonderful throughout the hotel with a stunning restaurant and bar and gardens. Staff were helpful and highly professional. Breakfast was superb in content and presentation and Dinner was of high quality and reasonably priced for such an establishment. And a superb wine list for all tastes and budgets.

Review 35：LOCATION. RESTAURANT, STAFF AND BEAUTIFUL VIEWS. GROUNDS AND BUILDING WERE BEAUTIFUL. LARGE, CLEAN ROOMS WITH GREAT VIEWS. WINE AND TID-BITS WERE SERVED IN THE GARDEN UPON OUR ARRIVAL.

Review 36：Distance from the beaches, it definitely takes a car to move around. No elevator and plenty of stairs to climb to reach the room floor, but staff will help you by carrying luggage.

Review 38：I'm just happy I've found this hotel! It's more similar to a fairytale castle - so much beauty in-and outside!.. Everything you need for just one night or for a month for absolutely reasonable money! Excellent restaurant! Unbelievable view from everywhere! Review 43：The hotel is up on the hillside and the hotel grounds are surrounded by more modern buildings. It is like an oasis of old fashioned-ness in an otherwise not so attractive port environment. No reflection on the hotel itself, but don't expect the environs to be as nice as the hotel and it grounds.

Review 44：Lovely belle epoque feel to the whole place - family run but with a traditional approach. Room comfortable and nice to have aircon. Most enjoyable meal in the restaurant. Excellent breakfast on the terrace.

Review 45：Beautfiful grounds and gardens with plentiful outdoor chairs and seating areas, umbrellas, fountains, and flower arrangements on tables. Every detail was seen to - little jars with things to nibble throughout the area, lovely little bar with snacks every evening, beautiful decor and the reception gentleman was so helpful, kind, considerate, and the main executor of the designs throughout the castle.

Review 51：The floor needed vacuuming and I believe they sent a note/ welcomecard that had "Mr & Mrs" on the front, that was a littleawkward for my boyfriend and I, given that it was booked in my name haha (we didn't really care)....... It's a good stop beforeheading to Rome or even Pompeii...oh and don't forget, it's rareto find places in Italy that have big bathrooms, so don't expectsome elaborate size..
