Review 29：We booked 3 air-conditioned twin rooms via booking.com. But were given rooms with no air-conditioners, with only a ceiling fan. After some negotiation, were shown 3 other air-conditioned rooms - a double room, a triple room and a room on the top (4th) floor which can only be reached by stairs from 3rd floor. Finally two of us chose to change to the triple room which was quite nice. Those in rooms with only a fan had to leave the window open at night. We were woken up early morning by noisy motor-cycles passing by.

Review 34：Due to a terminal fire in the Rome airport, we missed our connecting flight to Milan. So we were much later getting to the hotel than intended - in fact, it was after 1:00 am local time when we got to Monterosso. A gentleman had waited up for us and showed me where to park our car. He was very pleasant as was all the staff.

Review 58：It was a very nice hotel. It was clean & comfortable. It's close to the beach. Best part is that it has parking included. If you're coming by car you'll know that parking is very expensive so this is an added bonus. I also recommend staying in Monterosso. It might not be the prettiest of the 5 towns but has the best feautres. There's an actual beach (rather than a cement dock) and boardwalk which makes it very lively & charming to stroll by. You can have dinner by the beach. I highly recommend Hotel 5 Terre.

Review 60：We found that the staff were very welcoming from the word go. Nothing was too much trouble. We felt like we were part of a family. The hotel is not in the centre of Monterosso but that was not a problem as we enjoyed promenading along the beachfront to get to the main part of town. It was a great vase for the Cinque Terre for us. We stayed 3 nights but in hindsight wish we bad stayed at least 4 nights. We enjoyed going to the nearby beach a couple of times. The restaurants in Monterosso were very good. The room in the hotel was not overly big but when you are out and about most of the time it does not matter. The breakfast offered a good selection of food. Outside there were tables, chairs and umbrellas to sit at to use the wifi. We could not get wifi in the room but it was fine in the lobby and in the downstairs ares.
Review 61：Toilet was located in such a position up against the shower wall that it was very difficult to fit into the space and both of us are fit individuals. Toilet water would start running at night and wake us up. No WiFi in room, only in common areas. No AC in common area.
