Review 1：Breakfast was brilliant. Very kindly hosts (mother and daughter). Communication was excellent - got e-mail before the arrival about access to the destination

Review 2：Upon arriving the room was very cold (in January!), but with an additional heater it was perfect.

Review 3：the historical ambiente gives a romantic touch to your stay. With the beautiful garden, huge party area and honeymoon suite, this place is best for weddings and big ceremonies, but if there is none you can enjoy the quietness, elegance and beauty. The airport of Palermo is within a 30 minutes drive and you can explore easily the magnificent west of Sicily starting from the hotel.

Review 4：terrible staff, mainly the manager( she was terrible if honest & rude mostly all the time!! No joke!) And they also did not inform you that it is best you stay away as there is always a wedding everyday/night parties which is fine, but not ok if you are meant to hide away in your room, or forced to drive out as you can't use the facilities much due to loads of other wedding guests using them... they are setup more for weddings and the spare rooms are rented out to other guests so they fill up and you stay quiet and hidden away or out! And the only one staff assigned to guests/manager thinks she is always doing you a favour every time she does a basic think like eggs for breakfast or some other basic thing like that... I kid you not! It must also be requested the night before! She always says "we do not normally do this but...." It was unbelievable really!Again the manager was extremely rude and totally unaccommodating! Nor flexible! They certainly should have mentioned they care only for the wedding guests more and not staying fill up guests, as there is not food in the evening or day time... if you have no car you are in serious trouble. And the honestly do to care what you do, as long as you do to bother them much as they are busy with wedding guests. We had to kinda beg for them to make us food as we had no car for a two days... which the manager refused but owner intervened and sorted thank god. It was the worst experience I had with my close girlfriend/love & we wanted to spend a special time together as I have been busy a lot lately... and they almost ruined our holidays...

Review 5：The property and setting only The owner was nicer and tried to sort things out, plus calm things so thank you for that or we would have starved, no joke, but in the end it just got worse and we had to leave ASAP as we were not actually welcomed... it was clear after one day and we intended to stay almost 10 days. Sorry but they certainly need to do better than presently. You don't treat paying guests with such rudeness and make them feel you are always doing them a favour that is normal in any standard hotel... even a two star! We have never experienced such an insulting approach to staying anywhere in my life and also paying the higher rate price too for that quiet area... it was unbelievable and we honestly could not wait to leave... as the energy got more toxic, hence time to leave.

Review 13：The big problem is that this hotel is celebrating all days weddings. These parties are very noisy and from your room you hear everything. The parties finished around 2 am. At the beginning we staid in luxury room and the noise there was terrible. We claim and they offered us a new room. It was very good and finally we could rest.

Review 14：This hotel is a comfortable place near to the beach (20´ by car). The rooms are huge and nice, with a fashion furniture. The enviroment is very beautiful. One of the best things of this hotel is the swimming pool.You can rest all the time and enjoy your holidays plenty.

Review 15：The area around the Relais is a bit unattractive for just walking around or jogging (dogs, abandonned factories, litter), although this is a wine producing area. The Relais is located directly on SS113 street; rooms towards the road are noisy (we had the junior suite for 4 days), if you are not used to it. The Relais has got no swimming pool - info from website and info in room that something was available down the street, was not known by personnel we asked. There is no bar/restaurant - you have to go by car to Partinice, Alcamo, Balestrate or Castellammare del Golfo for a nice dinner. There is almost every day a wedding party or other festivity, even during weekdays (3 of 4 nights during our stay Tue-Sat). Once it was inside the Relais' main building, which was pretty noisy until late night (starting at around 8/9 pm only). The relais is so nice with nice personnel. However, in our opinion unfortunately not suitable for a classical holiday stay. We felt being a sort of "fill-in" (Lückenfüller), as apparently almost none of the many festivity guests did stay overnight in the Relais. What a pity.

Review 16：Extremely positive was the friendlyness and very supportive, well English speaking staff. They asked for any wishes/preferences for breakfast (but overall not overwhelming), prepared a nice breakfast package for an early-bird departure, offered help for touristic questions. The garden and the overall appearance of the Relais is very beautiful. Lago Poma nearby is nice for a short stroll along the bank. Well located for trips to Palermo/Monreale, San Guiseppe Iato Valley, Castellammare del Golfo, Segesta, San Vito lo Capo Beach, Riserva Zingaro. This is a very good and nice location for festivities with lots of guests.
