Reviews for Croce Di Malta
Review 1:Very - Very small bed (in my room, I don't know about the other rooms) No Cable or Sat TV. Need renovation
Review 2:The staff of the hotel was very good Fast Internet Clean
Review 3:There was really nothing to dislike in all honesty. The only thing you could say in this area is that the décor is dated, but that's it.
Review 4:The staff were just fantastic. They were polite, friendly and extremely helpful to the point of even parking our car on our night of arrival due after helping us with all our luggage. We stayed at a supposed 4 star hotel after our stay here and the staff at Croce Di Malta were a lot better.
Review 5:The concierge gave us 3 restaurant recommendations - all of which were closed on Sunday night. We had to search for another place on the go. The wifi was terrible! It was sketchy - I kept getting prompted to sign in with Facebook/Google/Twitter every 5 minutes. I've been in numerous hotels and have never seen this. The decor is very old - felt like the 70s. Location didn't feel very safe at night. Overall, I would not stay here again.
Review 6:The staff was nice enough. The location wasn't that great but it was a 15 minute walk from the main street and maybe 10 minutes from a local Irish pub (did not expect to go to a metal pub while in Italy but there were no other places to go to. Liked the pub!)
Review 7:The Wifi wasn't brilliant so there was some difficulty with Face Time and Skype but was more than adequate for sending emails and doing web searches. There was a sound of running water for a long time one night which I think may have been a toilet system. We, too, had not noticed that you have to turn off the flush on our first night and had allowed a few moments before switching off the flow.
Review 8:The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful without being intrusive. The coffee at breakfast was excellent. I stayed with my sister to visit a relative who was celebrating her 90th birthday. The hotel was a short distance from her home and gave us the opportunity to come and go as we pleased, having a leisurely breakfast before starting the day. Novara has some nice restaurants for celebrating or just enjoying italian food. We enjoyed eating at a very popular bar on the square not far from the hotel where for the price of your drnk you can choose cold meets and cheese and then be served up with a huge plate of hot freshly prepared pizza. We also enjoyed trips to Milan and Turin as there are direct trains from Novara railway station.
Review 9:- I got bitten in bed by something multiple times - that was not a mosquito! - The wifi was just rubbish. The only place I could get a connection was in the reception area - Its time hotels adopted a standard and stop claiming they have wifi if it doesn't meet that standard. - The hotel is on a busy (noisy) street corner and you cant even stop outside.
