Reviews for Villa Bongiovanni
Review 1:air condition not to strong, couldn't really change the temperature. but helped at least little bit.
Review 2:nice, quiet place, not to far from highway. very nice surroundings.
Review 3:The Villa is incredible beautiful, built in the 18th century the ownergave it back its unique style. Feels a bit like a fairy tale to staythere. Most likely thats the reason why there are so many weddings ;)PS: Expensive BUT damn good restaurant just across the street ;)
Review 4:Could be a problem for somebody with no car.
Review 5:Decorating, friendliness, hospitality, good breakfast, unique setting, lovely grounds, ample free parking. Very comfortable room, bed and linen. I loved the old furniture for character decorating. Wonderful "secret" villages to visit in the wine region like Soave, that is not in every brochure. Very good WiFi.
Review 6:The building is nicely restored with a big and well-maintained garden. The room was comfortable and clean. The host was always ready to help us and recommended good restaurants to try. The breakfast was fine with a good variety of choices. A good location for those who would like to explore the area of Lake Garda and the neighbouring cities. Thanks for the generous hospitality.
Review 7:The XVIIIth century villa has been beautifully restored to its ancient splendor. Antique furniture, carpets and paintings create an atmosphere of comfort and style. The extensive grounds around the villa provide ample opportunities for relaxation. We were warmly greeted by our host who introduced us to his wife and children. We were treated as guests and felt quite at home. We promised our hosts that we would return next year.
Review 8:Charming hosts in a beautifully restored rural palazzo.
Review 9:Staying in Villa, quiet, parking, easy stop from main road
Review 10:well kept, very clean
Review 11:Great Hotel, very nice staff and great room. Região muito bonita, um hotel aconchegante!!!
Review 12:I wouldn't say I didn't like it, especially because I was not looking for that but there are no other facilities like pool, sauna, ... Just to note that if it's important to someone.
Review 13:place and people The place is beautiful villa, nice and newly decorated and just a few rooms. It's quite! People were friendly, helpful and there was no problem to communicate in English. We even got our room in 10 am without any problems. That all made our staying very pleasent. And we will definitely come back again.
Review 14:The shower cabin could be more.
Review 15:Very beautiful historic villa with special atmosphere, antique Interior and furniture. Beautiful location. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Review 16:Nothing. It was perfect
Review 17:I loved the old mansion and the owner went out of his way to make sure our stay was perfect. Breakfast was delicious with a great variety. The room was clean, beautifully decorated. It was perfect in everyway,
Review 18:Villa Bongiovanni is situated in a small village without interest, but it is located between Verona and Vicenza. The house itself is charming as well as the nice decorated rooms. It is worth spending a night at least during your travel.
Review 19:We were delighted with this beautiful villa. The property is immaculately maintained, so clean and nothing out of place. Little luxury touches everywhere, spacious rooms, beautiful views, sitting areas inside and outside, lovely gardens, and so peaceful. A superb breakfast was provided, and we were recommended a great local restaurant for dinner. Positioned about midway between Vicenza and Verona, about 30 minutes from each, and just off the main highway away from the noise. We would gladly return.
Review 20:The shower corner was very small; the rest of the bathroom was fine!
Review 21:The atmosphere was very nice and the family very friendly. The rooms are spacious and they are cleaned thoroughly every day.
Review 22:Nothing
Review 23:Villa Bongiovanni is a beautifully renovated villa in Veneto. There are nice extra touches such as a variety of toiletries and slippers in the bathroom, a small fridge in the room with small bottles of prosecco and free wifi. Breakfast was included with freshly squeezed orange juice, a cold buffet, pastries and home-made cakes. I would definitely return if I were in the area again.
Review 24:the occasional country beetle on the ceiling above th bed
Review 25:historic building, antique furniture and beautiful gardens. breakfast was also very good and the staff really helpful and friendly
Review 26:There were just too many knick knacks around the room, it seemed unnecessarily cluttered. There is no rack to open suitcases.
Review 27:A historic restoration, clean and quiet with a great restaurant nearby.
Review 28:Nothing at all. It was perfect.
Review 29:Excellent room. Very good staff and wonderful breakfast. Very comfortable, beautiful setting and perfect place to take a break.
Review 30:This is a most beautifully restored villa; no expense had been spared to use quality materials in keeping with the age and style of the original building. We chose it for it's convenient location just off the Milan-Venice Autostrada - but it would be ideal for a location from which to day-trip to Soave or Verona. Good continenetal self-service breakfast, fresh new decor, exceptionally clean, quiet, nice views, and although evening meal is not available, there is an excellent, popular pizza restaurant about a 1km walk to the west along the country lane. Owners very friendly and helpful.
Review 31:An excellent old Villa transformed in a modern small Hotel, very kind personell, very good (for Italian Standards) cold buffet breakfast, not far from the A4 highway.
Review 32:We were really impressed by the villa and its facilities. We have been staying in 3 bed room on 3rd floor and everything was fantastic - room furnishing, bathroom, view from the room. Villa has beautiful garden where you can sit and have a coffee or glass of local "Villa Bongiovanni" vine (which is very good). Villa is situated 30 km from Verona near picturesque vine fields. It was very quite and cozy in the villa so we had a chance to enjoy this atmosphere after long days walking in Verona. Would highly recommend this villa with it perfect facilities and atmosphere.
Review 33:The only negative was that the shower stall was very small. Oh, and that we did not have more time there!
Review 34:We picked this location because it was between Verona & Venice. When we arrived we were welcomed by the staff and shown to our room. What a beautiful location! This home was built in the 1700s and they have done a wonderful job of modernizing and upkeep of the facilities without losing any charm or period charm. Our room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast room was delightful and there were many options. It was a great place to stay!
Review 35:It's beautiful old property well renovated and well maintained with good facility.
Review 36:nothing in particular
Review 37:Nice place! It's a beautiful mansion in a wine land.
