Review 1：The only complaint would be a smell of damp in the air in our room (in the base floor). That may be an issue for some sensitive people.

Review 2：Very beautiful centuries old manor house. Large, spacious room and bathroom. Almost perfect mainainance. Very helpful and polite staff. Good breakfast. Restaurant is really fine, with nice atmosphere, not many choices for dinner, but a very good appearance and ambiance. A nice pool (would be good during summer stay). It was a really good choice for our final day in Sicily.

Review 4：This is an old house which has been nicely renovated. We had the whole wing to ourselves - 2 rooms and it was very convinient.

Review 5：The smell in our room was not very nice while entering, because of the humidity in the room. I guess they have a problem with plumbing. Although you could not buy anything to eat in the area between breakfast (10:30) and dinner (19:30), they did not allow to eat your own fruits/vegetables/snacks in the public space. We would have prefered to buy something in the bar or eat fruits from the local market in the balcony, instead of 'hiding' in the room.

Review 6：Breakfast was outstanding. Everything was delicious, the freshly squized orange juice every morning was a perfect way to start a day. The view frm the swimming pool was amazing. The area was very clean.

Review 8：The location is wonderful, surrounded with hills covered with trees giving terrific views. The facilities are very well kept and equipped. The staff were very nice, welcoming and would go out of their way to help us, especially with our 3 year old.

Review 9：Dark and humid room with damp bedding. Welcoming but unhelpful staff. Extremely noisy ground floor room due to poor insulation. The tiny cabin shower. To have the dinner starter as food choice for the morning after.

Review 11：A perfect setting. Nothing was too much trouble, I got lost on the way there and the receptionist came down to the local town and I followed him back. Breakfasts were superb, with fresh savoury and sweet dishes and pastries. Dinner was optional but every course cooked to perfection with fresh produce and beautifully presented. He staff have information about sites worth visiting printed in whichever is your native language. Drinks on the terrace overlooking the pool, all wonderful, such a shame I was on my own. So was not arrivederci, more ci vediamo.

Review 12：Everything!! location just perfect. Staff very helpful and caring. Big room, comfortable bed and very clean. Breakfast and dinner delicious. we stayed there for 3 nights and it was super relaxing 100% sure we'll go again.

Review 17：Everything! Staff is so personable, like family. We miss them so much! Breakfasts and dinners (every day and night) were top notch. Accommodations were perfect and so full of character. Views, silence, beauty, ancient land, flowers, succulents and cacti, ambience, historic structure- all above and beyond. #1 stop in 2 weeks all over the entire island.

My table was set ready for me (one place setting). The entire experience was over and above my expectations.

Review 34：hotel divided into an old part and a newer addition,we stayed in the new part, i got the impression that the rooms in the old central part are nicer, in the new part there is a lot of noise from the other rooms and you hear people walking up the hallway all the time, the rooms did not really meet the standard of a hotel that advertises itself as a luxury resort, The beds were quite uncomfortable, There is quite limited parking on the grounds, and with the hotel pretty booked it was quite difficult to get your car in and out

Review 64：Good value for the money, but the owner needs to do something about the entrance, and the parking lot. The key words here are landscaping and gardening. If you want to put the word “luxury” next to your hotel name, you can’t just sit on your laurels and expect the money to roll in. You need to rollup your sleeves and get to work on the hotel grounds -make them look good for your clients. Another issue: the yellow house by the pool needs a coat of paint. It looks ugly, and distracts from the natural beauty of the surroundings.

Review 66：Rooms were noisy, the hallway had just very high ceilings and doors not great and therefore you could hear everything and we wook up very early. Also nö wifi in the rooms!

Review 69：The place is just a perl, situated in the midst of a sharming orange orchard. From the balcony we could see the river, the farmland with feeding animals, and in the far distance, a glimse of the ocean. The staff members were all very attentive rendering us their very friendly service, went out of their way and gave us more time and attention than one would expect. Just excellent service! I will give Il BorgoTerralcantara my very best recommendations. They really take care of their visitors.

Review 80：The photo´s that offer in Booking are not what the wanted to give us when we arrived. We were lucky and we changed to the "old area" because there were space. The prepare rooms everyday but they don´t really clean. The breakfast is not so complete. If you want to eat salty things you have to pay apart. Limit english of the team.
