Review 1：Staff made a mistake in my reservation and didn't correct their error. Despite clearly not booking it, I was given a non-smoking room. When I informed them the staff was unaccommodating and impolite, and argued with me despite the fact that I had a copy of my reservation. The general staff around were not well mannered at all, particularly a Karim at the Front Desk. The room was also very dusty and not cleaned properly. There was so much dust in the room that I developed a cough overnight and was forced to switch hotels a day later. Overall a terrible experience.

Review 2：The location was good, and the primary reason I selected Al Murooj in the first place.

Review 3：After booking I got 3 mails encouraging me to check in online in advance, which I did. At arrival at 1 am nothing was prepared and even passport copies had to be taken before we got our room keys.

Review 5：Pool access is strange and winter sun does not shine on the pool- so it was freezing and a bad time to visit. But otherwise it's a decent budget hotel.

Review 6：We booked a family suite for 5 people. We called them 3 days in advance to remind them of this. Upon arrival, there were beds capable of sleeping only 3 people. I asked for an explanation - the staff came up with the most ridiculous excuses. In the end, we were charged an extra fee for an additional bed. My youngest daughter ended sleeping on the couch. I had asked for a non- smoking room and got a smoking room upon arrival. The stench was so bad that my daughter had an allergic reaction. Clearly UNACCEPTABLE!!

Great location and facilities. So many nice sights in walking distance, mall and burj khalifa. Big appartment and good beds, clean.

Review 14：I have asked for king instead of my twin room. They gave us very small room. I had three issues. And I talked to the manger. I he looked at them as there were no issues. The manager reaction was very poor. I advice is do not get any food from their room service. Their food is very bad.

Review 21：Staying in the apartments you don't get all of the benefits as you normally would staying in the hotel, i.e. no robes, not allowed orders of alcohol for room service, no stocked minibar etc. For breakfast you have to take a golfcart to the hotel. Overall a good hotel.

Review 36：There was no coffee maker so if you have a "funnel" take it with you. They provided instant coffee and tea bags. Otherwise the kitchen was well equipped. The apartment/suite building is situated next to the Financial centre road which is very big and one of the main motorways. All rooms that are not facing the pool area (50% of all suites?) are very noisy. This did not bother in the daytime when the traffic noise is constant, but at nights the cars raced at full speed and it was difficult to sleep. The hotel is next to the Dubai mall, but is may still take 20-30 minutes to walk to some stores or the ticked office of Burj Khalifa. Also walking to the metro station takes >20 minutes (partially through the mall). It was a pity that there was an age limit for the gym (>16 years?). It is understandable that children are not allowed, but we could not excercise together. There were locks in the bedroom doors. Our little son locked himself in there but luckily could open the lock. The staff also have a key to the locks if needed. On the contrary, the lock of the balcony slide door was broken.

Review 37：Internet was fast and reliable. We were happy to have it for free. Helpful and friendly staff. They took our luggage to our room while we went to have lunch. They brought complimentary water bottles when cleaning the room. The room was accessible without stairs. The 2-bedroom apartment was spacious. We used a very nice and big supermarket nearby: walk along the Financial centre road and go around the hotel complex clockwise - it is about 4mins' walk. The breakfast was worth 5 stars: the variety of food items was huge and everything was placed very beautifully. It was nice that there was own pool and gym for the apartments, though the pool was a noisy place next to the motorway. From the apartment/suite building reaching the main pool was not difficult, either; you could walk from outside and didn't have to enter through the gym downstairs. It was easier to change the swimsuits in the room - the dressing room by the main pool is many steps down. They provided pool towels.

Review 39：The biggest advantage is STAFF. So helpful staff Andrew on the reception. The management should be proud of Having such STAFF because he's work was 100% professional with excelent customer skills. The Apartment was very Spacious, breakfast full of variety.

And that two people entered or registered to my room late .. Review 99：The place was not what I am used to in Dubai. The porperty was run down and clearly in need of renuvation. Breakfast finished too early for people on holiday should have been extending over the weekend. Staff appear polite in the surface but not straight forward.
