Review 1：breakfast and bar service was poor, hotel closed up early and very out of season feel to the overall place. Distance from Balistrade too far and the walk on the beach not clean/ safe or enjoyable. Beach is poor.

Review 3：some of the staff members were not that friendly while others were really friendly. E.g. the waiter and the young receptionist as well as cleaning staff were super-friendly while others weren't. also a bit far from the city center.

Review 5：- Unpleasant reception officer that made check-in and check-out; - It seems that this hotel worries about receiving money only. It does not bother to provide proper service. We did not have hot water for the first night and day; moreover, the tube was "spitting". Therefore we asked for a discount but receptionist argued that everything was fine. We showed a video and then suddenly she explained that oh yes, there was a problem with water, but it happened in all rooms that day because of the water preasure problems and she explained that it was normal and she didn't give discount anyway; - Water in the swimming pool was dirty. It even bubbled when nobody was swimming! - Part of sunbeds were broken and old; - Poor wi-fi in the room; - Bad location - far from the town, no nice views; - Overall, it is not worthy to be a 4-star hotel. 3 stars would be maximum for it.

Review 9：location is terrible, 2km from town restaurant and bar were closed from september but not advised this at all, this was booking.com's fault according to the hotel. the beach that is 150 metres away is patrolled by a bunch of rabid looking dogs that tried to attack my fiance and i. when we made it to the beach there was builders rubble there and it looked like a dumping ground. shower is tiny...could not spin a cat in it!

Review 13：The shower cubicle was a bit small. The surroundings (and Sicilia in general) were a bit dirty but the hotel can't do anything about it.

Review 14：Staff was amazing, always trying to help and extremely polite The room 205 and its amazing view :) The food in the Hotel was 5* The Location at first it seemed a bit far from the center... but in the end i found it perfect to relax, no noises and no cars. Amazing beaches nearby (15 min walk) And all people from Balestrate El personal era increíble, siempre tratando de ayudar y muy educado La habitación 205 y su increíble vista :) La comida en el hotel era de 5 * La ubicación en un principio parecía un poco lejos del centro ... pero al final me pareció perfecto para relajarse, sin ruidos y sin coches. Review 15：The hotel is located somewhat outside the town, which means that you either will have to walk 30 minutes, or go by car to get to town. Everything else was perfect.

Review 16：Very nice facilities, everything was clean and tidy. Very nice swimming pool. Very friendly and helpfull staff. Very close to excellent beach. Good breakfast with excellent service, the "breakfast-man" made scrambled eggs for us every morning. The hotel is close to the town of Balestrate, which is a village with nice restaurants, very few turists, most of them very Italien. If you don't like crowds of turists, this is definetely the place to go. - We had a perfect stay, and I wouldn't mind coming back.

Review 17：The Room AC did not cool the room. It was hot. I suspect the staff would have helped if we asked. That was the only problem. The facility was beautiful, look like new

Review 23：Hotel Costa Azul is run by two sisters who are friendly and lovely hosts. The service is great and the people who other people who work there are very friendly. Everyone knows each other so it feels like you're coming into a home. We stayed for four nights and felt comfortable right away. Everyone knew us and were very friendly. I came here with my two daughters so they gave us a room with a double bed and then a single bed in another room. The rooms were spacious with a large balcony overlooking the sea. You're a 5min walk away from the beach and the hotel also has a lovely pool which you can lounge at. The breakfast is simple but sufficient. We had free wifi the whole time we were there, although the connection is not very strong but good for basic browsing... i.e.email; facebook. Balestrate is a small town, we went in the beginning of September so there weren't many tourists and it felt very local and low-key. Balestrate is in a nice location because you're near the beach but you're not far from the airport, or from Palermo city and then can also rent a car and drive about an hour to San Vito, Trapani or many other tourist hot spots. Anyways, I really don't have a bad thing to say about this hotel - I certainly recommend it!

Review 24：Before going to the Hotel I read some comments which make me doubt about the election of the Hotel. It is certain that there is an elevated road nearby the Hotel, and it is also true that the railway runs in front of the Hotel but certainly once I was there I really did not notice it¡¡. No noise from the road, No noise from the railway. If you are looking for a Hotel with wonderful sights in front of the sea, maybe this Hotel is not your best choice, but if you want a good hotel, quite, and good deal for money, this can be a good choice.

Review 25：We were looking a quiet hotel with swimming pool near the beach which could be used as a relaxing base to discover the North Coast and The Hotel Costa Azul worked out well. 5 minutes walking from the beach and a quiet relaxing swimming pool, restore all our stamina after long august tourism days¡¡ The staff was very friendly, They speak english and spanish and were very helpful. Review 26：The brochure inplied a 4-star hotel, which this definately not was. OUrexpectation was to have a very nice place, with a great and cosyrestaurant on a great location, close to the beach. We found an emptyhut under a highway, within the slums of the outskirts of a smallvillage. Shower facilities was unacceptable, harly fitting a person andinevitably flooding the entire room. Balcony faced a scrapyard. Wine inmini bar was off, happens, no problem. Yet charged at a too high priceon my bill after mentioning to staff. All in all it was adissapointment, in my eyes provided by a great brochure yet a hotelunable to live up to their promise.

Review 29：Very clean hotel. Linda at the front desk was a great help. Breakfast was very good. Restaurant is fantastic. The man who administers the breakfast and restaurant was very helpful and kind. Beautiful grounds. Very nice hotel.

Review 30：The hotel is lacking atmosphere and has no drive to make you feel on holiday. The babybed didnt have a matras, seems odd as you would think women working there raised babys aswell. The shower head didnt stay up, the toiletroll holder had the same problem. In the evening there was no hot water, only in the morning you could enjoy a hot shower from 7am, not before. The sat tv didnt work, this was fixed but it should be checked before guests arrive. Airconditioning blows air, and thats about it, dont expect it to be very cool. The incheckdesk is, to put it mildly, slow. The parking is a little bit further away from the hotel. Dont let pictures fool you, it is located outside the town, with a railway and a motorwaybridge nearby. I wouldnt mind all of this, but the price and 4 star rating makes you expect more.

Review 31：It was clean, the floor was cleaned with water and soap wich was very nice, bathroom had enough towels. Its 35km from Palermo airport, reason why we booked it for 2 nights, so we could easely take our flight. Breakfast was ok. Staff is friendly, but seems to lack the drive to make this hotel worth 4 stars.

Review 32：I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Costa Azul, it was a wonderfulexperience!!! I went to Rome before and I forgot a couple of things inmy bedroom and Danielle and the rest of the staff did all the efforts toget in contact with the other hotel, speak with a carrier and ship allof them back to my house... The hotel is very very nice, very calm andquite and there are many places that you can visit very close toBelastrate! And ofcourse the staff is billiant and very nice! I reallyrecommend everyone to visit them!!

Review 33：This hotel was good value, and was close to the Palermo airport, but near a nice town on the beach. They have a beautiful pool and the room was very nice. We didnt eat in the restaurant but it looked very nice and had a nice menu.
