Review 1：we booked at the last minute (half hour before our arrival). The owner was expecting us, the room was immaculate in terms of cleanliness and furnishing and design. We loved the space and the views. Close to kids playground and to shul. Highly recomend with love. Thank you for a lovely weekend. Will certainly be back and recomend.
Review 2：We had an awful experience with Safona and would recommend to stay away from hotel. Here are some details: Safona is not actually an hotel, but something like an apartment complex located about 10 minutes drive away from Tzfat. There's absolutely no signage on the building and Google directions take you to a different place, so it took us about half an hour to find the complex. The apartment keepers are religious and don't work on Saturday, which is fine, but there was nothing to indicate that in the hotel description. Nobody answered our phone calls and we wandered around the complex for about an hour until we found someone who gave us a key to some room and gave us guilty feelings about bothering him during Sabbath. Our apartment didn't have a private balcony it was supposed to have (the person who gave us the keys told us that we can use the terrace next to a nearby unit. The floors were dirty, three of the beds haven't been made up and some of the bed sheets have been slept on and on and stepped on. One of the 2 bedrooms is actually a security room that doesn't have an air conditioner and is too hot to comfortably sleep in. The shower head had a bad leak and we had to deal with a flood in the middle of the night. The apartment has a kitchenette but it has absolutely no dishes or cutlery. When we brought all these problems up to the person that checked us out, he offered us a 40 dollars discount. When we told him that this doesn't make us much happier, he insisted that he is not the person in charge and the latter is not available at the moment. We asked that the one in charge calls us back, but he never did.
