Reviews for Old City Inn

Review 1:There appears to be no staff to come and clean, change sheets and towels, empty bins etc. If this was known in advance we would have been prepared but for the money it cost we felt it was over-priced.

Review 2:The rooms are lovely and there is a nice patio area outside that was lovely to sit in.

Review 3:Noice from neighbor's small children on Shabat at 7:00 was very annoying. I think it was very expensive, maybe because of the breakfast.

Review 4:Lovely breakfast in the hotel nearby. Lovely location.

Review 5:This is more like a rented ap. the owner is nice & helpful when she's around but available few hours per day. Breakfast service at Rimonim hotel (5 min. walking) did not match the standart

Review 6:The room, the view, the ambiance. Didn't bump into parking issues.

Review 7:No wifi in rooms!! Only one pillow p/p Only one towel p/p No staff on site = no room service No breakfast on site - need to walk Confusing location Irritable staff

Review 8:Cleanliness Central Location Prettiness Jacuzzi Crib in room for Baby

Review 9:nothing

Review 10:location amazing view complementary wine and dried fruit

Review 11:The Wi-Fi didn't work on our room (2nd floor) even though that was part of the room per the hotel description.

Review 12:Location and room facilities were good. The breakfast served in nearby hotel was very good.

Review 13:Hotel staff lady was surly and attempted to collect more money than agreed, in country's currency--booked room not spacious enough for 4 people as was advertised--had to purchase additional room where WIFI did not work-- rooms not serviced as second day

Review 14:Location

Review 15:--Not necessarily a place for non-Israelis, so a bit of Hebrew helps. --It's not the easiest to find. It's behind a private home with the street address 107, and we had to search for it for a bit. --Didn't see many restaurants around the artists area aside from falafel stands. --No elevators--but only two floors.

Review 16:--We had the Olive room, a huge room with a balcony and a jacuzzi (!). --Very comfortable bed, lovely view of the mountains around. ----Spotlessly clean. --Quick walk to the artists area. --A short walk up the alley behind the hotel to the Ruth Rimonim Hotel for our buffet breakfast (included). We also went there for a quick buffet dinner. --The lack of elevators is more than made up for by the beautiful 2nd floor balcony views. --We were the only guests in the hotel that night, and the desk keeper trusted us with the key to the entire place. Also, she leaves after 6 pm, so if you're checking in late, make special arrangements.

Review 17:The price quoted to me was not the price I got maybe due to conversionof dollars to shackles but this needed to be told in advance

Review 18:Location near old city good for families room big

Review 19:There is a main door to hotel that remains locked and you need separate key to open causes problems when family is not all together

Review 20:The inn was just beautiful nice location very comfortable for dati family to keep shabbot good accommodations

Review 21:No facilities. Breakfast and swimming pool are at another hotel, a 5minutes walk away. The reception is only attended a few hours eachafternoon, although you have a phone number where you can call for help.

Review 22:Very clean, nice place. No noise at night.

Review 23:We arrived on a Friday afternoon and had no idea that there would be noone, other than guests, from the time we checked in on Friday. As itturned out, there were numerous families with children, screaming andrunning around the halls, with no one from the hotel to chide them. Thiscontinued all through Saturday, until we ended up being the only guestsFortunately, Hagid showed up Saturday night, so we were able to get moretoilet paper! Bed making was our responsibility and the same towels wereused for three days!. Again, after Saturday evening,no one was around toanswer our questions, although we were given a telephone number to call. Also, we had no idea that our breakfast was not served at our hotel. Myhusband walks with a cane and the distance to Ruth Rimonim was at least10 minutes each way! On our last day, when we tried to reach Hagid tocall a taxi for us, her phone went to voice mail. This is not our ideaof how a hotel should be run. Absentee management is not a desirablecommodity!

Review 24:We liked the location. The room was very nice. The matching dishes andcutlery, as well as the complimentary fruit and wine was a nice touch.

Review 25:No complaints.

Review 26:Old City Inn reflected a level of comfort and premier facilities that contributed to an enjoyable stay in Zfat. The front staff member was excellent in her attentiveness to our needs and made our time there worry free.

Review 27:Food at one of the two restaurants purchased ahead for Shabbat through the hotel was not very good.

Review 28:Beautiful facility in a great location, near the art district and amenities.

Review 29:1. No dedicated hotel parking2. Mattress cover was disgusting. It had stains and body hairs on it. Poor cleaning service. Manager notified and changed cover for us. 3. Unless you are a romantic couple (no children) the in room bathtub took approximately 20% of valuable room space. With that at hand there is reduced seating room 4. Kitchen - dish strainer/rack took up valuable counter space and there was no place to store it. 5. No service personnel in hotel after 6PM so you better obtain extra pillows, blanket and towels prior to staff leaving (or else you need to call the manager at her home residence to return). 6. In our experienced opinion, the hotel is overpriced.

Review 30:The location and bathroom were good.

Review 31:Lack of service - staff were not available on site. There were heavyrains / snow during our visit and staff showed little forwardconsideration for special needs during this time ie. Hairdryer and sparetowels had to be requested No one around most of the time so thebuilding lacked atmosphere

Review 32:Beautiful building, newly renovated and clean Amazing breakfast Centralto key sites and art galleries on foot

Review 33:Wifi didn't reach the room. Staff was very friendly or helpful.

Review 34:Lack of quality for the price. Parking is troublesome without a free close location.

Review 35:Terrace

Review 36:No room srvice

Review 37:Very tastefully decorated. The Jacuzzi was great.

Review 38:Not really a hotel, no one at the reception desk, more like a rented room.

Review 39:Beautiful building, beautiful rooms, quiet, amazing views

Review 40:Clean, comfortable, but spartan room. Superb Israeli breakfast down thestreet at Rimonim Hotel included.

Review 41:the hotel was empty
