Reviews for B&B Villa Evelina
Review 1:there could be more options for breakfast - but I think it is the case for most of Italian hotels/ B&Bs
Review 2:location was off the city but nearly on the beach - Blue Bay beach (you just need to pass the street). it is very close to the Anzio Marechiaro train station so remember to get off train there if coming from Rome Termini, rather than travel to Anzio) Despite being located besides one of the main roads it was quiet at night.
Review 3:Excellent small hotel.Familiar ambiance. Fantastic , owner and staff. Small swimming pool and near sun bed, 50 m to sand beach\free\. Wi-Fi, TV SAT. Friendly room perfectly equip. Beautiful garden. Good breakfest and caffe. Train station to ROM 200 m. Ticket to ROM only 3,60 EUR. Very, very nice holidays.
Review 4:Breakfast didn't start until 8 so we missed it most mornings due to our early departures for Rome.
Review 5:The place was lovely. Quaint surroundings and rooms. location was ideal for the beach
Review 6:This house have great owners, prepare tasty breakfast. Is located at a nice place near to local beach but also have a great garden with basen - nice to sit and drink a wine.
Review 7:We were a family group visiting the military cemetary in Nettuno and also Rome. This worked well for us but we could have used an extra day to lay on the beach. The breakfasts were over the top.
Review 8:Lack of precise description of the 4-bed room, that is actually not in the Villa, but in the back of garden presenting rather as a bungalow. Nevertheless quite comfortbale.
Review 9:Hospitality of the host, his helping hand on every occasion, and tasteful breakfast make this place a nice aim of summer trip.
Review 10:No fridge in rooms. Only one small common fridge in dinning room
Review 11:I really recommend this place. The room was nice and clean, breakfasts were very tasty. The owner took care of his guests.
Review 12:feels like home,
Review 13:The friendliness of the staff, very welcoming. All our needs were catered for.
Review 14:Newer building and in great condition.
Review 15:No negative comments
Review 16:High standard to room in contents and cleanliness, breakfast was superb, very welcoming host
Review 17:Smelled a little musty and unused
Review 18:Spacious modern rooms for a good price off-season'anyway
Review 19:Staff Location Breakfast
Review 20:Nothing
Review 21:Excellent breakfast selection
Review 22:Quietness and the sea.
Review 23:Really comfortable. Very pleasant provider Rino. Beach is very close.
Review 24:It was difficult to find open restaurants nearby, but it was low season.
Review 25:Nice garden with deck chairs. The owner was very friendly and the place was tidy and comfortable. Easy to get to the beach.
Review 26:The hotel is located at some distance from Anzio center. The way to the beach is inconvenient and the beach is dirty. I would not recommend this location for those who like beach and swimming.
Review 27:A clean and cozy BB hotel with reasonable prices.
Review 28:the rather long distance to the center of Anzio
Review 29:the flowers, the homemade cakes, the staff, the bar/kiosk just around the corner and the restaurant (Diavoletti Pizza) nearby.
Review 30:No directions on which station to get off at 3 train stations fromdowntown Anzio (5 miles distance from town center). Street art atstation so intensive it obscures all signs.
Review 31:Friendly and accommodating owner adjusted breakfast to individualsneeds. Beautiful beach setting. 200 meters from a train station withunique and entertaining street art.
Review 32:There is a noisy road in front of the hotel, however it was not aproblem for our room, because the windows were facing the garden. Tothe left of the villa (if facing the sea) there is a kind of vacant lotwith some rubbish and ruined (or not finished) house, the beach in thispart was also a bit dirty. However, it has no relation to the qualityof the hotel. What could be suggested to make the service in the hoteleven better, is an opportunity for the guests to have a cup of tea inthe evening.
Review 33:Almost everything was really excellent! The hosts were friendly andhelpful, breakfasts were very nice, tasty, plentiful, with cosy domesticatmosphere. Each morning guests were offered fresh home-made cakes orpastries, each time different, tea, coffee, three kinds of juice, yoghurts, cheeses, ham etc. The room and the whole villa, including thegarden, were absolutely spotless, with beautiful design and flowereseverywhere. Also villa provides a swimming pool, which is free for allguests. It is quite near to the railway station and there is no noisefrom trains. The sea is just across the road, two minutes to get fromthe hotel to the water.
Review 34:There is absolutely nothing that we did not like!
Review 35:What and unexpected find! My husband and I took a lond awaited trip to travel around Italy and this was the perfect way to start. The owner was so nice and welcoming and the facility was spotless. The fact that it overlooks the ocean is just another highlight. We just loved it.
Review 36:Beautiful, luxurious towels smelling like smoke. Noisy road. No secure parking.
Review 37:Very, very clean. Nice owners. absolutely fabulous breakfast. Simple but adequate room.
Review 38:Noisy road between B & B and the beach. We visited B & B outside season, and our room and the sheet felt damp, but there was a good heater in the room.
Review 39:B & B is situated outside Anzio, but there is both train and bus connexion to town. Nice beach vith fish restaurants. Fantastic sunsets. Clean and nice decorated rooms. Very nice garden. Very good and plentiful breakfast vith home baked very tastyful tarts. The owners very friendly and helpfull.
Review 40:It would be an improvement if the TV screen were larger.
Review 41:Our two day visit coincided with their first day of operation this year and the weather was lousy. But the place was so nicely appointed and the host so accomodating that we completely enjoyed our stay. Our host Rino put out a complete and delightful breakfast and then allowed us to use his large diniing table all day to assemble a picture puzzle. The building was completely remodeled only two years ago and is kept immaculate. The internet was supplied by cable to the small desk in our room (fast) and the TV used SKY, which gave us a broad selection of channels in different languages. The town of Anzio is small, but offers a large selection of waterfront restaurants and a nicely done musuem of artifacts from the WW II invasion by British and American forces.
Review 42:brilliant staff homely decor
Review 43:Everything was like we expected, therefore we have not any notes.
Review 44:hospitality, good breakfast, clean kindness
