Review 1：Really enjoyed the stay at this hotel, the staff/owners were very friendly and helpful, they even took us to the train station when we couldn't get a taxi, rooms were very clean and had free use of a safe, all in all couldn't fault it.

Review 2：AC was turned off and though it was cool outside the street noise at the front required closure of door and window and room was stuffy and still a little noisy. No restaurant nearby -

Review 11：What can I say about L'Approdo!!! Perfect location for some quiet beach time and to watch the sunset from their rooftop or at the beach!! The pool is cool and relaxing, breakfast is great and mid afternoon espresso with Nino is charming!! I completely adore Nino's family!! They are so sweet and are happy to email me when they see my reservation!! Pure bliss!! See you next year!!

Review 12：Bear in mind around 25 min walk to town centre but there is some local eating (not tried). The bar and restaurant strip starts after about 15 mins. Some new paint and filler in the bedroom wouldn't go amiss - but a minor point.

Review 13：Very friendly staff. Small non-chain hotel. Pleasant breakfast and pool area overlooking the sea and within earshot of the waves! Good air conditioning and plenty of hot water.

Review 19：The stunning views onto the Tyrrhenian Sea from the rooftop! But, of course, there was a lovely pool up there as well. The whole structure is newly designed with a fresh, elegant and modern little lobby. The breakfast room is on the top floor and semi-open to the elements...again, some of the best views a restaurant could ever have. Our very simple but comfortable room was a little dark because of the lack of bright lighting, which is caused by the use of cost-saving light bulbs (I hate those!) I think the nicest part of the stay was the owner, who is a kind and most welcoming man! We had a lovely one-night stay...right across from the beach!

Review 20：Staff and management were friendly and the service was excellent, hotel beautiful. Rooftop pool was very nice. Really close to a lovely beach, we watched local surfers trying to catch waves from the bar of the beach cafe. The Hotel is only a short walk to the railway station with regular trains to Anzio and Nettuno. The area of Anzio Colonia is a little run down, but the local people more than make up for that with their charm and friendliness, there are plenty of little shops and cafes and the value for money and service is generally very good. We particularly liked the Chinese Restaurant just along the road from the hotel, food was buonissimo and the service was excellent. My wife and I would definitely go again.

Review 21：My wife and I spent two nights at this wonderful little hotel. Beautiful owners, who provided excellent service, and the rooftop swimming pool was very nice. Lovely room with see view and only a few meters to the beach. Next time, it´s at least 4 nights !!!

Review 35：We were put in a room that was not renovated. The bed cover was stained... really bad feeling. The bathroom had a bad smell in it and the faucet from the sink was very hard to operate. The wifi connection was very spotty. We stayed only one night. Anzio has nothing to offer and the beach area in front of the hotel had dogs poop all over, looked like a deserted area. There was nothing that would make us visit this area again. Went to Terracina from Anzio, and what a difference!

Review 37：The area of Anzio Colonia initially can feel fairly quiet and remote until you find your way around - but the hotel is within easy walking distance of Anzio Colonia station for trains into Anzio and Nettuno, and local buses.

Review 38：The hotel is lovely, with a rooftop terrace and pool. It is a family run hotel and they are friendly and helpful in every possible way. There is a nice beach opposite with a small beach cafe with lovely lunchtime snacks.

Review 39：Not a dislike, really, but it was a bit far from town; about a 20 minute walk. But there are very nice restaurants nearby, and it is right on a beach. The walk into town is easy.

Review 58：The cleaning of the room was only fair, the shower recess was not cleaned, the sheets were only changed once in 6 nights and the towels need some softener in the wash. The hotel is about 2 and 1/2 chilometres from the city centre, a long walk, the beach opposite has lovely water but the beach itself is very dirty and unkept, the local council needs to clean up the rubbish

Review 63：2minute walk from the train station, which was great if you didn't want to walk into town, which took about 15-20mins on foot, but 5mins max on the train. Also the train was a straight line to Rome and cost €6 which is perfect for a get away to the beach. The hotel was right in the beach front, with a choice of private and public beach. We chose private for the sunbeds and umbrellas, which cost about €15 for the day for both of us (there was also a weekly offer). Great beach bar with plenty of snacks and drinks with a lovely view over the beach. The owners were friendly and very helpful, giving us a map of the local area and directing us to a few attractions. The hotel was clean, newly refurbished and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide range of choice. Would definitely go back if I was visiting again.
