Review 7：What a wonderful 4 nights we stayed here. Perfect location for ferrying to other towns on Lago Como, walks in the hills overlooking the lake, explorations into Milano and Lugano. The breakfasts were perfect - Eleanor went out of her way to accommodate my gluten free diet. The view from our living room window was ever-changing with the light and provided a great Lake scene. Perfect little kitchenette with fridge for snacks and even a simple dinner one evening. Picked ripe figs from the tree in the yard and wild blackberries on a local walk in the surrounding hills. Beautiful outdoor dining area in the garden, weather permitting. Great mix of guests while we visited - from US, France and Serbia. We used the small washing machine in our apartment one day, which helped us to move clean clothes to our next stop on the trip. Sweet dog and several outdoor cats add to the homey feel of this B&B - perfect for us!
Review 8：Our wonderful hosts, Eleanor, David and Andrea, could not have been more friendly, hospitable and helpful. The view of the lake was absolutely stunning, the breakfast was incredible, and the house and gardens are superb. Eleanor and David gave us helpful advice about getting to and from town, and how to find the small church further up the hill, where there are also some historic WW1 fortifications. After we checked out and I accidentally took the room key across the lake to Varenna, Eleanor was very patient and understanding and helped me to send the key back one one of the ferries. We were delighted with our short stay, it was like staying with friends!

Review 10：The views and family friendly experience made for a great start to the day. The hosts, Eleanor and David, were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. David was the consummate host, recommending and booking for us an outstanding meal at a lovely location as well as providing many suggestions that made our stay in Menaggio so memorable. We travelled as a three generational group and everyone felt comfortable and valued.

Review 20：The dogs, the ants and the inability to walk anywhere. The dogs were unfriendly and literally bit me on the leg (full disclosure... The 2 dogs did not like my dog and this my have caused some animosity). Not pet friendly. There were ants in the room which Eleanor was quick to remedy. We had to drive everywhere because there is no transportation and too far to walk to town, restaurants, etc.
Review 21：The view, breakfast and hosts were great. Beautiful view of the lake, round table breakfast in the breakfast room was very cozy and Eleanor and her son did an excellent job meeting our needs.
Review 22：We had a family room for the myself and my partner over the weekend in a family run B&B. The accommodation is accessible by car. The breakfast was really great (the banana bread was fanstastic) prepared by the host and very helpful with suggestions during our stay.

Review 24：The family living there made us feel at home, so welcoming and inviting and lots of advice on where to go. Excellent large room with beautiful view and a great breakfast I would stay here time and time again, We spent two weeks driving round and staying in lots of different places and this was by far the nicest the owner makes it even more perfect !

Review 26：Family room we had was a good size (2 doubles with kitchen/dining area and a balcony, comfortable beds and good blinds), breakfasts were good with home-made pancakes and cake, very friendly hosts.
