Reviews for Hotel Lido Garda
Review 1:The pool was VERY VERY cold. But then again - we came off season, hopefully it's warmer in summer.
Review 2:People working at the hotel were extremely nice and helpful, the whole hotel has a nice relaxed atmosphere and the beach is right there in front.
Review 3:Really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. All the members of staff were really friendly and welcoming. It was certainly worth paying a bit extra for the balcony roo.
Review 4:Personnel is fine. We arrived off the season but we were provided with beech towels, silverwear and plates for eating fruits in the room. Modest but decent.
Review 5:Breakfast was poor. Coffee machine out of order, plastic cups for juice, back of choice. Restaurant not available unless booked not a good start after we had travelled for 8 hours!
Review 6:Recommended excellent restaurant.
Review 7:The breakfast included too much Sweet stuff, not our favourite cup of Tea but IT was not a poor breakfast at all, the hotel is located ca 2 km from tje city centre but that is within walking distance.
Review 8:the closeness to the beach! The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Review 9:Nice pool was very crowded on the Sunday. Not many restaurants & bars in the immediate vicinity.
Review 10:Nice pool, which we had to ourselves on our last day. Helpful staff happily agreed to let us take a late check-out.
Review 11:A bit to walk to centre. Walking 2k is no problem, but would be nice if someone cleaned the streets.
Review 12:Close to beach and close to train station. Nice and clean rooms.
Review 13:Bit of a walk to town centre, and very iffy breakfasts sometimes.
Review 14:Across road to beach, nice, close to train station. Very good...no...excellent Chinese Restaurant next door.
Review 15:Only slight gripe, the hotel was a 30min walk into town. There are no buses and taxis are very scarce and need booking well in advance. The walk is great on a fine sunny day but impossible in bad weather.
Review 16:The hotel is placed way out of town. Some furniture in our room still had price labels hanging on them which I find so strange. Also price labels on (plastic) flowers in the breakfast area. Our bathroom door could not close, this is really not okay. We asked the staff to fix it and nothing happened. They didn't even apologize. I would not recommend this hotel.
Review 17:The breakfast buffet is very good. Also close to the beach (just across the street), but its a boring beach. There is a better beach 500-600 meters down the road
Review 18:The bathroom was an okay size but the shower was TOO SMALL and my husband could hardly use it with the screens shut. The hours on the swimming pool were ridiculous as it was about 33 in the shade. In summer it needs to be open all day.
Review 19:Very nice staff from check in to check out. The rooms were a good size and the bed very comfortable. It was also very clean with good bath linen. The air con was good when it was turned on, but it is done for certain hours and then turned off. We did not know that you only had to ring up and they would turn it back on, very odd! The breakfast were very good for Italians and each day there was something different on the buffet. We only has dinner one night but it was the best antipasto we had in Italy and the other three courses were good as well. It was very close to everything we wanted to do and see and I would recommend it to anyone.
Review 20:Why do they give waffle towels as bath towels?!
Review 21:- It's very near to the sea (though not on the beach, you need to cross the road) - Balcony view is marvellous, especially on the 3rd floor - The staff is really friendly and happy to fix all the problems - The interiors are very nice (though the building design is questionable) - When the electricity in our room was down the staff was very quick to solve the problem (they moved us to the other room, obviously more expensive one, but we paid the same price)
Review 22:Everything was very good! We had a great time!
Review 23:Booked for 60 euros per night but charged 80 euros per night
Review 24:Staff were friendly and helpful.

Review 41:Everything's perfect. Staff's always helpful and polite. The hotel's very homelike.
Review 42:Towels in the room were very thin and were made of the similar materialas bed sheets. Pool wasn't cleaned every day. There are very fewoptions for food in the area (except for pizza and a Chineserestaurant). The downtown is 25 mins walk or 10 euros by taxi. Beachchairs were not free for the hotel guests.
Review 43:Across the street from the Lido Garda beach. Very close to the AnzioColonia train station (1 hr from Rome). Lcd tv in the room, but very fewchannels. Mostly friendly staff. Quiet hotel, clean and comfortablebeds; ideal if you are looking to escape the noise and the touristychaos of Rome for a few days and relax by the pool or on the beach.
Review 44:Right on the coastal road so some traffic noise.
Review 45:Very friendly staff with good local knowledge. Clean spacious room. Good variety for breakfast. Very good restaurants a short drive away.
Review 46:Too few electric outlets in the room. Very odd switching for the lights - really a puzzle of 15 minutes duration.
Review 47:The principle rooms, lobby, patio, pool were wonderful. The cafe and bar on site reasonable and pleasant. The breakfast was, by normal Italian standards a feast and very good. Parking is good and the location convenient. The bathroom was well thought out.
Review 48:It was a bit hard to find decent open restaurants during lunch time. Anzio city was a bit too far away for us. Nearest beach was not free.
Review 49:Lovely staff. Especially the waiter guy who was always there. Decent breakfast. Really nice Neapolitan restaurant nearby. Also a nice wine bar close. The beach was clean and good for the children. Pool was quiet during our stay, mostly only us there. Easy and cheap to go to Rome.

Review 62:quite part of town, 1mile from town centre, 5 min walk from train station with direct link to rome.
Review 63:The beach isn't free, even for hotel guests. Bad sound proofing.
Review 64:Friendly staff. Good breakfast.
Review 65:Close to beach, a bit too far away from the city for our demands.
