Reviews for Acco Beach Hotel

Review 1:I had literally no Wi-Fi in my room, which was irritating so I had to use my data which cost me loads. The pool wasn't filled, I think it was under construction. The room and facilities was really dirty and smelt bad. Also, the cupboard had a dirty used towel in it. The gate was closed and my friend wasn't allowed to visit me

Review 2:The receptionist and manager were so helpful and caring! The food was nice but I would of liked more variation I think. The room was quite comfy and the bed was nice, room nicely decorated. The view from my balcony was amazing

Review 3:The given location is wrong. The hotel is 1.3 km south and therefore away from the city center. The staff do not care about it and they do not want to fix it.

Review 4:This place is old, under-maintained, and it is my opinion that this place should be closed for renovation before they consider taking in another guest. The location has much potential but the beach area adjacent to the hotel is a dump and is not fit for bathing or lounging, and the old city is a 5 minute cab ride away.

Review 5:Once we've decided this place was below our standards and leave, they've agreed to refund us for the remaining days without arguing

Review 6:Problem checking in. Room was not ready for 2 hours. Continuous problems with cleaning of the room.Staff was not responsive to requests and given lies and misleading answers. condition of the property very poor, lack of maintanence and cleanliness outside the buildings.

Review 7:Location to the place of business meetings.

Review 8:They never told us it included breakfast. They never told us where breakfast was served. Downstairs where you would never find it unless informed. The bed covering was too small for two people. A lot of noise until 11 pm. Parking problems because of events at the hotel. No wifi in rooms - come on people this is 2015.

Review 9:Great air conditioning in room

Review 10:Terrible service, the room was dirty and nothing in it worked, not the telephone, not the wifi, not the safe or the terrace door. We tried to get someone to fix it but we left the next day after they said they would fix it while we went for dinner.

Review 11:Location

Review 12:Completly oposite to what was expected. The old and not so clean fitness room. In the hall there were papers on the floor, not cleaned up for a whole day. Breakfast was very poor. Wifi works only close to the reception office. Certainly not a place that I´d like to visit again.

Review 13:Close to the beach, there is a swimming pool, looks good on photos...

Review 14:Poor breakfast. Had to ask for cereal and fruit. Pool closed on first day of stay. Bar closed and promised bar food was not available.

Review 15:Close to beach and shopping mall. Not too far from old town

Review 16:The room telephone was missing. When finally fitted it worked only occasionally. The toilet flushed once then jammed and trickle-flushed over-night so had to use the one at reception just before early departure.

Review 17:Ground floor accommodation close to entrance

Review 18:Halls very dirty, disorganized staff at check in (quoted us a much higher price than our reservation stated); Poor service at breakfast (had to ask for a tea bag, did not refill the hot water when the pot on the service area ran out). No toaster in the eating area. Overall one of the worst places I have stayed, especially at the price.

Review 19:There were some noise from refg.

Review 20:They have very kind people and always smile. The breakfast was clean and nice. I think it's just reasonable price.

Review 21:Outskirts and beach area were very dirty.

Review 22:Old town of Akko in walking distance. View from the beach.

Review 23:The accommodations were completely inadequate

Review 24:The staff was helpful and tried

Review 25:The floor of the room was not vacuumed.

Review 26:Great location. Clean and good food

Review 27:WIFI, PHONE NOT WORKING ROOM NOT FIXED ONE DAY POOR BREAKFAST

Review 28:ROOM

Review 29:Wifi failed

Review 30:Our Hebrew wasn't good enough to understand if Saturday lunch was included in the Shabbat supper cost (we saw people bring plates of food up to the pool), but we had snacks in the room. And the shower temperature control was odd because hot was in the middle (cold and warm on the two end of the turn).

Review 31:The little balconies for each room, the helpfulness of the staff, the Israeli breakfasts and direct access to the beach. It was close enough to walk to the Old City and train station. Our room had a kosher bed and small refrigerator. The toiletries were nice quality.

Review 32:the foto of the room shows a double bed while it realy twin !!! i expected to get room with sea view and i got a very bad position in building 5 the attiude of the reception was bad and i will not ever use this hotel and i recomend to others not to use it this hotel again

Review 33:The hotel's website was misleading. It made the hotel look like anew first class luxury hotel with pool and beach facilities next the oldcity. Instead, we found a typical somewhat aging hotel, with closedpool, access to a rather dirty beach with no facilities, and more than1km from the old city. The hotel should give a bonus to their webdesigner for doing a good job of making an average hotel look like a newluxury resort.

Review 34:It was a safe location. The breakfast was good. The room was small, butcomfortable.

Review 35:No fen (hairdryer), no kattle in the room.

Review 36:Near the Sea, sandy beach. Calm and relaxing atmosphere (in March). Good breakfast. Near by the historical Center of Acco: 5 minuties on taxi, 20 minuties on foot. Friendly staff, effisiently helped to solve problems, speaks English. There are safe and fridge in the room.

Review 37:No chamber maid to clean, change towels make beds etc. not clean poorservice. Says wi-fi but it is not in the rooms just in the lobbymisleading

Review 38:Great breakfast

Review 39:Highly over-rated. Breakfast not good, stale bread and stale pastries. Cleanliness terrible and staff don't care and tell lies.

Review 40:only location
