Reviews for Villa Lucchesi

Review 1:Like being in an art gallery, so chic! Kind and friendly hosts. Great location to look out at river glimpses and mountains, parking right outside. Lovely breakfast.

Review 2:Loved it all!

Review 3:A genuine welcome from the host. This is wonderfully decorated and refurbished home. Great location - gorgeous and picturesque village and just a stroll to bar, restaurants. Italian breakfast was very good. Although our rooms was one of the smaller options, it was more than ample with a generous bathroom.

Review 4:We had some difficulty with the wifi in our room but it was not a big deal.

Review 5:Beautiful house and hosts. They were SO helpful with local restaurants and things to do, it was not my first time in the area but I learned about some new things!

Review 6:What can I say - this was simply an exceptional stay on our trip. Although we had only one night, we loved every second. Stunningly furnished in highly quality, considered designer furnishings including a standalone claw foot bath, our room was exquisite. Our hosts were also incredibly friendly, upgrading our room and offering us wine to enjoy at the outdoor tables under the grape vines. Late in the evening while we were enjoying our wines outside with the other guests, we were brought a bowl of handmade pasta to share amongst ourselves. I still dream of that pasta now. Overall, an amazingly genuine, friendly, honest and memorable bed and breakfast, full of character and hosted by incredibly friendly people. We hope to return one day.

Review 7:Nothing bad at all, but it's worth mentioning low cellphone signal (as almost everywhere in the area), and some desirable improvement in the breakfast. Maybe a small fridge in the room would also help in these hot days.

Review 8:Arguably the best stay ever, but certainly THE BEST value for money EVER! Never had so much space, facilities, comfort and services at a 3-star hotel rate. The ground floor suite is nothing but gorgeous, but the whole property is a finesse. Open breakfast room with coffee, excellent wifi, superb and all-new furnishing, top leather sofa, .... these make the stay a real pleasure at a very affordable price. And, finally, we got excellent availability towards our late checkout request. Thanks a lot!

Review 9:Property was deserted and locked up when we first arrived so we had to call Booking.com and await the owners arrival.

Review 10:Very friendly owners and beautifully fitted out rooms.

Review 11:Decor quaint and great fun, garden lovely, breakfast fresh and varied. Very helpful with Gluten free diet and local restaurants and attractions. Parking easy.

Review 12:Nothing. There was nothing not to like;everything was perfect!

Review 13:The hosts Irina and Domenico could not have been more welcoming. We loved the tea and biscuits given us on arrival & the fact that we could make ourselves tea in the morning.

Review 14:Nothing. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Review 15:Although location is right on the main road through town we were not disturbed by any noises. Kim and Mark were very good hosts and helped us with directions and advice on side trips. We were very happy with our room and the ability to walk to town and restaurants. We definitely recommend this B&B!

Review 16:If you want to get away from the crowds of the heavily visited tourist areas may I suggest Villa Lucchesi in Bagni di Lucca. A gem of a B & B. From the warm welcome given by Kim to the accomidations and breakfast our stay was great.

Review 17:Villa Lucchesi is a delightful house, beautifully furnished and with a garden and loggia. The bedrooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. The beds are super comfortable. The hosts, Mark and Kim, went out of their way to be helpful. A great B and B and we shall return.

Review 18:Reception of wifi in room was volatile, best on toilet seat :-) breakfast was good but not as lush as the rest of this B&.

Review 19:Sensitive renovation of beautiful italian villa. Located on road close to center of a small italian spa town away from any boondoggle. Cool room design. Very clean. Spaceful. Windows to lush garden. British antiques with a certain ironic statement. Very nice, helpful and attentive owners/managers.

Review 20:The villa is just beautiful, decorated to a high standard. The visitor space is so relaxing and the owners Kim and Mark were so friendly and helpful. They have thought of everything with lots of little touches that make you feel instantly at home. Locally the restaurants are good, the pool is fun and a visit to Lucchio is a must.

Review 21:On arrival and parking, 1st impression was not sensational. But leaving the place two nights later had us saying "we'd like to stay here a few days more..." I could write here in detail why we felt that way about the rooms and the surroundings. But that would in a way spoil the visit for the next person. Sounds strange - but take our word for it - go there with no great expectations and you'll love it! Thank's again Kim for a great stay!

Review 22:Nothing!

Review 23:Mark and Kim were incredible hosts. Location was excellent and walking distance to everything in town. The property was beautiful. Room was spacious and the bathroom very modern and new. The overall ambiance of the property is special. Breakfast was yum and even though I am gluten free nothing was too difficult. They even shopped for gluten free pastries!

Review 24:nothing, liked it all!

Review 25:The owners are great hosts and each guest in this small hotel is made to feel comfortable and at home. The rooms are spacious and simply but beautifully furnished. Bedding, wifi, plumbing, a good night's sleep -- all successful for 3 of us staying 4 nights here. We were helped to plan several day trips - to Lucca, Pisa and Florence - which are all accessible from Bagni di Lucca.
