Review 1：Workout at the hotel or the nearest building made noise. Price is still high.

Review 2：Very close to the main part of the city, Christmas market and many shops. The breakfast was quite good.

Review 5：The car park is not well signed and the entrance is extremely narrow, with a very steep exit ramp. Extra pillows were provided but none were fit for purpose, they had no support and were very lumpy.

Review 6：Location is good and the staff were extremely helpful. Our room was very pleasant and spacious with plenty of seating areas. It was a very nice surprise to find UK TV channels were available. Breakfast was adequate but would have appreciated a wider choice of breads.

Review 7：I felt like I was checking into the 1970s rather than into a modern business hotel. I note that the Hotel is planning to open 35 new suites but they weren't evident in the brown wood cladding, red tinged carpet, or the corridor with lights off (presumably as power saving). The facilities were adequate but tired.

Review 8：The highlights of my stay were the hotel's excellent location within central Mons and the friendly, helpful staff.

Review 9：There is an ongoing hotel expansion, so a lot of noise even from 6:30 in the morning. No related information was given at check in time and only a note in the room which would not prepare us for the real situation. Front desk staff that usually would not return our greeting and fail to reply in situations like when the water will be back on service..low pressure warm water.

Review 10：Only small dislike, they charge 10 euros a night for parking. If you're lucky you can park outside for free if there is a space.

Review 26：Staff are very helpful, rooms are spacious and well equiped relative to price, and breakfast is excellent. Hotel garage is Euro 10, while on-street parking is free at weekends. Location is a 5 minute walk from the centre of Mons.

Review 27：Hotel situated at fairly busy junction but could have coped with traffic for the one night. Woken at 3.30am by people coming back from night out drunk, singing and talking outside room. Had to close window which made room very stuffy. If possible suggest a fan- portable or fixed in room.

Review 35：A 4 star hotel that dose not even serve bar snacks and is some distance from places to eat. Breakfast was disappointing and on our last morning they could not cope with the large number of guests and things like the hot option was not replenished.

Review 47：We always stay at the Best Western in Mons en route for the Austrian Tirol for our winter vacation. This Hotel & location provides a PERFECT stop-over which has a secure car park & is easily accessible from the motorway. And it is only a couple of hours from Calais. After arriving, we are able to walk into the beautiful centre of MONS with it's Christmas tree which is outstandingly decorated along with the buildings all flanking the Ice Rink and Christmas markets. All of the bars and restaurants are very good & obviously we have our favourites. I also have a regular Hairdresser nearby if I need one. This hotel is great value for money whatever the time or year & whatever booking method is utilised. A firm favourite in the Best Western Group. The breakfast is also very good too.

However, this was 0200 in morning. Perhaps the hotel needs a way of monitoring corridor noise and activity to prevent recurrence.

Review 60：I was bitten twice on the face by a pesky mosquito. I was on the fourth floor and, as it was quite warm, I had the windows open. One doesn't expect to get savaged by a mossie in late September in the middle of Mons!!!

Review 61：I was able to park on the street without any problems. It was a Friday evening when I arrived so there were no further problems on Saturday even when I returned late. I would think twice about paying for parking. Good typical buffet breakfast.

Review 62：The room was very hot and stuffy, no air con and only sky light windows. The road outside was extremely busy from 5am in the morning and due to having to keep the windows open for air we were woken up. The beds were terribly uncomfortable, I suffer with a bad back and the bed did me no favours at all they were also really low.

Review 74：Attended with friends to mark the centenary of the Battle of Mons. The hotel is in a fantastic location for visiting the Grand Place and the battlefield sites. It was clean, comfortable and welcoming and I would definitely stay again if I return to the area. Found on-street parking easily just round the corner. A five minute walk from the centre.

Review 79：It was hot, and the hotel has no air conditioning. At night you had two choices, either open the windows and be kept awake by what must be the busiest round-a-bout in Mons or close the windows and bake. We stayed for a week and I did not get more than 2 hours sleep any night.

Review 81：We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Our room was spacious, clean and quiet and nicely furnished. The young lady on reception was very polite and efficient and informed me of the underground car park which is accessed at the side of the reception. This car park is easy to access the rooms by the lifts. The hotel is a short walk to the main square and places on interest. Unable to comment on breakfast as we did not have this there. Mons is a nice historic city and well worth visiting. The staff were very friendly and polite and made us feel welcome. We will definitely stay there again.
