This family-run hotel is set in the small hamlet of Nobiallo, right on the shores of Lake Como and 0.9 miles from Menaggio. All rooms offer a lake-view balcony or patio, free WiFi and satellite flat-screen TV.

Review 1：There was no restaurants within a km or so. We had to walk this distance for our evening meal and then return on foot. There was nothing to do either.

Review 6：Great location, directly at the shore of the lake. We asked lemon for the kidsto the morning tea and get it fresh from the lemon tree from the garden. It was awesome.

Review 10：The fridge was not on so not able to use. Be careful of the window in the bathroom if you leave it open as requested as you can hit your head. Same with the balcony door.
Review 11：The view is lovely with a small balcony to sit on. Beds are comfortable. We had a triple room so no spare space but fine for an overnight stop. Easy walk to town for evening meal.
Review 12：Lovely peaceful setting right on Como's shore. This small hotel does without gym or spa but it gets the basics just right. Has its own small garden and shingle beach, which we had pretty much to ourselves. Lake was crystal clear and quite warm for swimming in early June (at least the top six inches were!). The staff were very friendly and discreet and spoke good English. Our room had a balcony with fantastic views over Lake Como. Breakfast was simple continental but very good quality, with fresh strawberries to go with your muesli every day! The hotel was spotless - really spotless, and we got the impression it was very efficiently run. Would definitely stay again.

Review 16：A family hotel with a very lovely stuff, The room was a few meters from the lake so we had an amazing view of the sunrise. The bed was great, tasty breakfast, I'd come back there whenever i'm in this area again.

Review 19：The hotel is actually located just outside Menaggio, in Nobiallo, so involved a 15/20 minute walk into the town - which was fine for us, but may not suit everyone. As there was no restaurant to be seen along the shores of Nobiallo, an evening meal meant a walk or a drive to Menaggio. Unfortunately the hotel bar was only open until 10.00pm, and there was also only one other bar in Nobiallo, so choices for a nightcap were limited. The pillows on the bed were way too hard (although the king-size bed was very comfortable).
Review 20：We wanted a clean, friendly, lakeside property, without an exorbitant lakeside price tag, somewhere we could sleep comfortably for a few nights and have some breakfast - and that's what we got. The hotel is small and the accommodation very simple, so avoid this hotel if you want luxury. However, it is scrupulously clean, the staff are friendly and work around your needs, and all rooms have a decent sized balcony looking directly out onto Lake Como and all its delights. All we really needed. We would stay her again if we returned, and would recommend to the like-minded.

Review 26：Arianne was the girl I dealt with from start to finish ... impeccable English and she spoke excellent German and French too! Always keen to help and made me very welcome. A little out of town but for anyone other than solo female traveller no problem at all and even for me it was only an issue on the evenings when I was returning late. My room had a lake view and balcony with table plus two chairs which was fab. All in all I would certainly say for anyone needing a simple and exceptionally clean, well kept place to stay away from the main hussle and bustle of Menaggio I would recommend Hotel Garden. No restaurant so you need to go elsewhere for evening meals and lunch.
Review 27：Book a room with lake view and just be happy to walk approx 20 mins max to centre of village for meal unless you enjoy wine and cold meal etc from your balcony overlooking the lake. Just bliss and tranquil location. Breakfast lovely and staff very very pleasant. Go see for yourself ....

Review 30：Part of the walk to town required walking along and crossing the highway and since the cars were always speeding, this was a bit scary. There was not really much of a beach, so we left it to the ducks and swans to do the swimming in the lake.
Review 31：The view from the room and balcony was spectacular, the area was neat, safe and quiet. The room was, while basic, very efficient and clean. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was great - especially the coffee and fresh fruit. The hotel was not far from the town and yet remote enough for a restful night. Parking was easy. Great opportunities for day trips!

Review 76：The next door apartments were sometimes noisy. The price of our room (family room) is pricy for just 2 people. We were offered a cheaper room, but the location of the family room is the best in the hotel so we stayed in it!

Review 80：Our room was under the breakfast room, meaning we were woken up by chairs dragged along the floor as guests arrived for breakfast from 8am. Could be easily fixed with some padding under the chair legs since footsteps aren't a problem. Also, lovely to have direct access to the lake for swimming, but beware that the big pointy rocks on this beach aren't kind on the feet. (We'd recommend bringing water shoes.)
Review 81：Lovely view, every room has a balcony or terrace facing the lake. Excellent buffet-style breakfasts. Very good shower. Comfortable beds. Nice garden with chairs and tables for lounging. Direct access to the lake. The hotel isn't right inside the town - it's at least a 15-minute walk, so you aren't popping in and out for supplies - but that's also how the lake access is possible, so it's not a bad compromise.

It had goodaccess by the c10 bus from Como.The staff were great and breakfast wasexcellent. Review 86：Everything, this is a lovely family run hotel. Very helpful with local advice and recommendations. Breakfast is perfect with the best pastries you will find in a hotel. Waking up to the sounds of waves gently lapping the shoreline and then a great breakfast what else would you want. Would recommend an return myself. Bonus wifi worked in the annex perfectly.
