Review 1：Bonnington is not 5 stars hotel - maybe 4 starts. The first impression was not the best as you cannot find parking place for your car and valet parking had sign "50 AED" (even if I understood later that his price is concerning the residents, not hotel guests). Then the room was not ready, even if we checked in at 4 pm and my room was changed. One large bed, even if I asked two single beds. The pool was a disappointment as there were no sunshine in the afternoon and the area was quite windy.

Review 10：The maintenance issues. I feel these should have been fixed before our arrival. We were a little disappointed by the pool. It was a lot smaller and more covered than we expected creating a bit of a wind tunnel.

Even after two weeks (!) there is no single answer fromthe management.So, I'm just going to copy my email here:I regret to tell you that my stay at Bonnington Jumeirah Lakes Towers was one of my worst experiences in hospitality.Upon arrival I was told that the reservasion I made through booking.com cannot be found although I have reserved my room (superior double room with city view) several days before, and I had the confirmation email with me.The receptionist couldn't find the the reservation even when I told him my reservation code. At least he said he couldn't find it. But he said that they have vacancies and he wants to charge a deposit of 2000 UED.The total of the stay would have been around 1000 UEDI told him that I find it a little too high of an deposit for a 1000 UED reservation. He replied that this is because the price at which I made the reservation doesn't apply and he can sell the room only for more.If I didn't ask, he wouldn't have told me that I would have to pay more. This is really a dishonest practice and I would be really surprized if that would be your company's policy.I to the recepcionist that I have a valid reservation and I want the room for that price.He said that in this case he needs to confirm the reservation somewhere else and it will take much time.I said I can wait.Surprizingly he could confirm in a minute and now he wanted me to make a deposit of 1500 UEDAgain, the total of the stay with everything included would have been around 1000 UED.I said it was still a bit high of an amount but he said that this is because I might have something from the minibar etc.I didn't want to argue anymore as it was nearly midnight.I went up to my room (502) and found that1.

Review 18：They did not have the room I booked, they so called upgrade me. When I asked to be booked in my room I had to wait for a long time. They put me in a family room, it was a disaster. At 3h30 the neighbors arrived, very loud and talkative. It sounded like they were in my room. I had to phone reception to quiet them, not with a lot of success. They changed my room for the next night, much better

There were zero refreshments in the fridge, bar area was empty and only 2 waters in the entire suite. @$430 USD/ night for 2 night stay and I still had to purchase breakfast, it was terrible. Cold coffee, flys on food and tasteless selections made for an unpleasant start to the day. Overall this was an enormous waste of $1,000.00 USD for 2 day Dubai visit. My advice, look elsewhere.

Review 41：One of the staff named Cecile she was the rudest reception I have ever dealt with. We reserved 2 rooms one deluxe & one superior with city view. They gave me a superior without a city view and that lady Cecile said to me its what we have with not a single explanation. The location is the worst ever, away from every thing exciting in Dubai. The valet parking crew are always away and stop the car on the park gear without hand brake. The room closet has a rotten smell and the room doesn't smell fresh all the time. The room cleaning service is carried out after more than 6 hours of pressing the dedicated button. The hotel deserves to be an average 3 star.

Far enough from all the city centre stress yet within a short walking distance to the metro which will take you everywhere. They were so nice, I went to Dubai for my 21st birthday and the staff came to my room to say happy birthday as well as to offer delicious cakes. The room was amazing. Gosh everything was so absolutely amazing, I have no words to describe. I loved it so much that I'm going back to Dubai in a month and I'll definitely stay in this hotel again. Of all 5* hotels I've stayed at in big cities such as New York, London, Paris or Los Angeles, Bonnington Jumeirah is overall the best.

Physically close to the metro but due to horrible road layout about a mile walk. The pool is in almost constant shade after 11am so had to pay to visit beach clubs (£40-100 a day) everyday or go to public beach. Room was tired and the pillows were terrible as compressed so much they gave no support.

Review 94：2nd time staying at the Bonnington, and I love this hotel! I arrived late or early in the morning, and the staff were very welcoming and sympathetic. Offered me a late check-out which I didn't use, but it was very appreciated! The buffett breakfast was awesome.

Review 97：The only negative was that we had received two 15% discount vouchers for in-room dining. When we tried to redeem the second one we were told that we were only meant to receive one voucher (although we were two people) and that we could not redeem the second one. This makes little sense as the fact that we had received a second voucher mistakenly is not our problem, and the situation was not very well handled by the front-of-house staff.

Review 98：We really loved the room. Really modern and suitably large for two people to stay in. Our request for twin beds and early check-in was accommodated upon arrival and overall the service we received from staff at all touch-points was great. The bathroom had two privacy doors which makes travelling with friends great too. The pool area was absolutely fantastic, being both shaded (on the 11'th floor) and temperature controlled. An adjacent jacuzzi and kids pool is also available.

Review 111：The staff at the reception. I wasn't treated not even as a basic customer. For some reason my rooms I reserved were given to somone else! They offered me an apartment and charged me AED 300 extra per night on top of the price I reserved the rooms for. I had to discuss this issue for more than an hour. Even the manager on duty didn't bother. This situation made me got imparased in front of my family and other customers. Up to now I don't know why the did this and no one apologized. If the hotel Management read this note, I wish they contact me and we can discuss.
