Reviews for La Madonnina Del Gran Paradiso
Review 1:Breakfast was late 8-11 we would have preferred an earlier start or coffee available before that time - coffee machine in the lobby or a kettle in our room.
Review 2:Great location and really good facilities. Our room was in the new part of the hotel. The room was large and had a spare bed chair. The furnishings and bedding were good. The view over the valley was beautiful. Breakfast buffet was good quality. Large bathroom
Review 3:Fantastic food and an amazing choice in wines. The evening meal was incrediby good value. The menu has no prices because you can have anything for 30 € per person. The views are pretty good too! Great family run hotel where guests seem to return again and again.Only a few English guests so don't expect fluent staff.
Review 4:Great hospitality. Beautiful views. Wonderful spa. Food was delicious. Elaborate breakfast buffet. Large rooms, very clean. Owners offer good advice on hikes and activities. Can't wait to go back!
Review 5:Very nice restaurant and amazing spa, swimming-pool and jacuzzi
Review 6:Quite expensive
Review 7:Excellent service, but not over-powering
Review 8:As very little English is known in the area it is worth mugging upItalian before you go. Although everyone was really helpful, I felt it abit disrespectful of us not to be able to converse in more than the verybasic courtesies. Ask for a front facing balcony - although the one tothe side isn't too bad.
Review 9:Consistently well presented and delicious food with extensive menu;efficient, kind and very helpful staff; very comfortable room and bedwith balcony views; very well cared for public areas in the AlpineStyle; amazing location with fab views across meadow and down valley onthe edge of pretty town; great base for exploring local area withwonderful hill and low walking (free buses in the area, too); the hotelspa was a joy after a day out walking - good pool, jacuzzi and wonderfuloutdoor hot tub with sauna, steam and massage too. We had a faultlessweek - really enjoyable and restful.
Review 10:A kettle and a small fridge in room would have been good. Other than that, pretty much perfect!
Review 11:A relaxed, friendly, family owned hotel. Perfectly situated in Cogne. Wonderful Italian food. Unfortunately we don't speak Italian but the lovely waiters were so helpful and made an effort to translate for us. As a vegetarian I had plenty of choice. Fabulous spa facilities.Free local buses into nearby valleys mean you can start walks at a higher level. Excellent National Park Centre and Mining Museum in nearby village (catch free bus there and walk back). Good walking map from Tourist Information for just 2 Euros.
Review 12:Wifi did not work well in our room, and no information in the room
Review 13:Location and rooms fabulous, and restaurant is excellent
