Review 7：There is a twenty to 30 minute walk up and down the hill which is very steep and tiring in the sun, but Alessio always asked if we wanted a lift either up or down. Nothing is too much trouble for him.

Review 8：Alessio who runs CO.RI apartments with his Mother and Father was an excellent host who couldn't do enough for you. I would recommend these apartments to anyone. The views are outstanding!!!! Alessio is one of the kindest and nicest hosts that we have met. Top man indeed.

Review 9：We loved Menaggio and CO.RI. apartments, we had one apartment and the annex and both were great - roomy, comfortable, spectacular views from the apartment balcony, and Alessio just couldn't do more to help make our stay just perfect - really hope to come back again (and great food and people at the restaurant below the apartments too).

Neat unit - and when a heatwave struck the host found us a fan to use during our stay (there is no airconditioning) Good internet! Great location from which to explore Lake Como area!

Review 17：Wonderful location, views and facilities. Our host was so welcoming and offeried every assistance for a pleasurable time eg: information, transport & bread for breakfast. Restaurants nearby. Superb choice for relaxed, quiet holiday.

Review 18：When arriving from the ferrydock with (heavy) luggage it's probably better to arrange some transportation to the appartment. We chose to walk it but found it kind of tough with the suitcase as it may take you about 20 minutes uphill.

Review 19：My girlfriend and I truly enjoyed everything that this appartment had to offer! Best of all was the stunning view we had from our balcony! We loved it so much that instead of eating out we ussualy prefered to eat at "home" so we could enjoy the view in our own privacy. Also we really liked the help of Alessio! He is a very kind and friendly guy who really did his best to make us feel comfortable! He offered his help many times and even suggested to drive us to go see some fireworkshow! On the last day he dropped us off at the ferrydock which we also really appreciated! There is good bus connection to the centre and if you go the other direction you can easily reach the startingpoint of a nice walk!

Review 21：Difficult to count all the things we liked... I think it was one of the best trips ever. The surroundings are amazing if you like nature: you are in the heart of it, surrounded by forests, mountains, lakes, rivers and wild animals (if you get a chance to see them:)). The town is also beautiful with small oldish streets, shops, cozy restaurants and warm people. Another big plus - the appartment and its owners. I think first time in life we felt so welcomed and taken care: Alessio was always smiling and making our wishes to come true in a minute! He and his family makes you feel home, makes you feel secure and sometimes you forget that it's their business... We had an impression that passion to help others goes first. We got plenty of good advices, bread and croissants every morning and everything we needed for our daily life there. The big advantage was that we stayed in the same house as they and had our garden too! I wouln't be changing it into any big costly hotel! And we do hope to come back as there are still plenty of things to discover! Thanks Alessio and your wonderful family!

Review 24：Noise levels can be quite high, especially from the restraint below. However this generally stopped by 22:00.

Review 25：Views and service. Alessio went out of his way to assist with lifts/ transport and could not be faulted, nothing was too much trouble even. The views on a clear day were superb.

Review 27：Spectacular views with all the kitchen facilities needed - especially coffee - and nearby to two restaurants. Good exercise to walk into Menaggio although the owners are also happy to give you rides up and down the hillside. All the facilities are clean and in good order and the possibility of a brioche delivery for breakfast is an added appeal.

Excellent walks down (about 20 minutes, via special pedestrian paths which are very beautiful) and up (this could be a challenge for some people or if you have small kids, then you need a car)

Review 31：Well nothing really. the climb up the hill can be a slog on a hot day, (but see other comments) but there are buses, and the ever-helpful Alessio's trusty Fiat. Most of the shops are down by the lake so you need to be a bit strategic about shopping.(there are several useful vans with fruit and veg etc which park up in the village. Alessio will tell you times and places.

Review 32：Firstly, the view over lake Como is superb (just keep it in mind if temped to complain about the climb up from Menaggio; you wouldn't get it unless you were higher up than the stuff in the way). And there is a balcony to look at it from. The appartments are clean and comfortable, with gas hobs and combination microwave, if you want to cook the excellent local ingredients. The wifi is fast free and reliable. Alessio is a perfect host, will bring you bread in the morning, lifts up and down the hill; nothing seems too much trouble. Many of the best local walks start nearby if you are into hiking (any you will have already done the climb up from Menaggio.

Review 33：You definitely need a car and to be a confident driver on the steep and winding roads.

Review 34：View from balcony was amazing. Alessio was very helpful and friendly, including giving us a lift back up the hill from the supermarket. Wifi worked very well. Pizzeria underneath appartment very convenient and no noise heard in rooms above, only the odd tantalising aroma. Walk up to Refuggio Menaggio very taxing but worth it. Walk in Val di Sanagra was lovely, with excellent lunch at restaurant by trout farm.

Review 36：Everything was perfect and more, Alessio was so helpful offering advice and fantastic warm hospitality. Nothing was too much trouble for him and it was so nice to have fresh croissants delivered on our first morning. Beds were comfortable and we slept like babies. The apartments have a stunning view of lake como.

Review 37：Amazing view. Brilliant facilities. Clean. Homely. Wifi works well. We loved it! The apartment is approx 20min walk from the water ferry, uphill - however Alessio was AMAZING! He picked us up with our luggage, gave us a tour of the town. When it was pouring with rain he took us to the supermarket. Nothing was ever too much trouble!! Don't worry about the walk... The VIEW IS WORTH IT!!

Review 38：Big appartment, well equiped kitchen, friendly staff, the most beautifull view in the region, good food to the restaurant. I hope that I will turn back in the Como lake region and I will accomodate at CO.RI. Perhaps the best self catering apartment that we saw.

Review 40：I'd suggest not to walk from centre to CO.RI with luggage since its uphill and you need to climb few steps. Instead check with Alessio if he can pick you up or you may as well take a bus C13 from the centre, which stops very close to CO.RI.

Review 41：We didn't expect such a humble and helping host Alessio who made our stay a memorable one. He helped us in so many ways from picking and dropping us to different sites, bringing us breakfast, giving us tips on what to explore. The apartment itself is a very well furnished duplex with awesome views from the balcony. All the basic things like coffee, sugar etc are already arranged. The pizzas from CO.RI pizzeria downstairs were also very good.

Review 42：Spotlessley clean great location 10 mins walk into town although quite as teep climb back up, Alessio very helpful & nothing was too much trouble for him, would definately stay there again if in the area.

Review 43：The walk back up the hill is quite a slog but there is a bus and Alessio was more than willing to pick us up from town. The view wouldn't be as amazing if you weren't so high up.

Review 44：We stayed in apartment 4. The view from the balcony is amazing, even in the rain. We had a fantastic time, lake como is just so beautiful. Alessio was a fantastic host, he literally couldn't do enough for us. Menaggio is a perfect base as there are several boats and buses every hour but its not as touristy as Belaggio or Varenna (which we prefer). U would go back to Cori and Lake Como in a heartbeat. It was a fantastic holiday

Review 46：The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, beautiful view and peaceful location. The quality restaurant below was easily accessed and inviting. Our apartment was fully equipped for all our needs and it was a pleasurable stay.

Review 47：some people may find a distance a negative but you dont get a view like that staying in the town centre. a walk to town takes around 15-20 minutes downhill. walking back is about 25-30 mins. there is a bus going to town and back a few times a day, ticket price is 1,3 euro for a single trip. the last bust from town is around 18.30. limited service on sunday and holidays. the owner Alessio was always available if a pick-up/drop-off to town was necessary.

Review 48：everything was superb. the view from our room was breathtaking. Alessio and his family were very helpful and always there if needed.the room facilities were anything one may need staying in the apartment. we were given a glass of prosecco each upon arrival which was very nice of them. the room had some reasonably priced wines to buy which came in handy as on Sunday all the shops in Menaggio were shut.there was plenty of leaflets on local attractions, walks etc.available in the property. the apartment was very clean and the beds we found comfortable. the towels, basic toiletiers and a hair dryer were also provided. we would definitely recommend that property to anyone planning to stay in Menaggio looking for perfect balance between amazing view over lake como/money. it is worth mentioning that there is a family run pizzeria on the property that serves very nice pizza and reasonably priced food.

Review 71：An excellent place to stay. The apartment is very spacious and comfortable with a wonderful balcony with a great view. We liked the view so much we ate in the apartment 3 out of the 4 nights we were there. (There is a restaurant close by that does takeaway pizza and lasagna). Alessio is a fabulous host and kindly picked us up from the bus stop and dropped us off at the ferry. He also took us to the start of a walk (to Menaggio Rifuggio). where there is a fabulous view of Lake Como and Lake Lugano. The walk up to the apartment from Menaggio is actually the first part of two of the recommended walks around the area. (However, if you don't like walking up hill, Alessio often offered to pick us up or there is a bus you can take). We found the ability to use the washing machines there for a nominal sum very helpful too. We will definitely stay there again if we get the chance to come back!

Review 78：Alessio was super helpful throughout our stay and bent over backwards to give advice, help us out with anything we needed and bring us croissants in the morning at a given time. The studio couldn't be faulted for cleanliness and the kitchenette was extremely well equipped - there was everything you'd need for a short break. And if you don't want to cook, there's the restaurant - great food at really acceptable prices. The off street parking was also a plus.

Review 79：Spacious apartment with beautiful view of the lake, perfectly equipped kitchen, nice and helpful landlord. It is recommended to come by car as the nearest shop is a bit further away.

Review 80：My fiance and I are not avid hikers so the first day we came there wedidn't realize the distance from the ferry is a bit of awalk/hike. We did not see any taxis so we decided to find theapartments on foot but had heavy luggages so we were so tired halfway upto the apartment. We met an very nice old man who was kind enough togive us a ride to the apartment. Alessio is also wonderful. He took usin his car to where we needed to go afterwards.

Review 81：We stayed here for 3 nights. The view from the balcony was amazing.Witnessed a sunset so beautiful I could not capture it in photos. Theapartment was very clean and it had everything we needed. It was a goodsized apartment. Everything functioned good. It was also very peacefuland a very comfortable place to stay in. The host Alessio was alsowonderful, pleasant and very accommodating. He took us downtown to thesupermarket, the ferry, and he was always there when we needed a rideback to the apartment.

Review 82：On one occasion the noise from the children of a family at the Pizzeria went on unacceptably late. It was a Saturday and there was no quiet until after midnight.

Review 83：The apartment has a magnificent situation high over Menaggio with beautiful views of Lake Como. It was comfortably furnished with all the necessities for a week's stay. Or host Alessio was charming and could not have been more helpful. The convenient Pizzeria in the lower part of the building served good food. The apartments can hardly be bettered for a quiet stay in the Italian Lakes.

He went out of his way to make us feel at home and provide us with everything we needed. The apartment was superb - spacious and comfortable and the balcony overlooking Lake Como was breathtaking. Review 100：We loved staying there! The appartement is spacious, has a small kitchen(including a coffee machine, fridge, dishes etc) and all rooms have lakeview. It's true that the hotel is up on the hill and therefore maybea little difficult to find at first and a like 20 min walk from thecity, but otherwise it wouldn't have this amazing view of the lakeand the mountains surrounding it! Moreover, it's a very peaceful andquite area. The restaurant downstairs has good an inexpensive pizza. Wedidn't hear any noise as stated in some of the comments. Alessio isvery friendly and helpful! We would have loved to stay longer and woulddefinitely come back. Perfect!

Review 102：The apartments in not in Menagio but up on the hill. The walk to thecity was supposed to be between 20 mins (down-hill) up to 30 minutes(uphill). But it took me less than a quarter of an hour anydirection ;-)

Review 103：Stunning view over the lake Como. Simple but well equimepped apartmentswith all you need for cooking your own pasta - or more - and to enjoy iton apratment's own terasse. Though the restaurnt on the floor belowmakes soooo good food (the pizzas!)

Review 108：Although the walk downhill was easy (15 minutes), the walk back up was a bit harder (25 minutes). Alessio did offer to drive us anytime we needed help, though, which was very nice.
