Reviews for Hotel Centro Turistico Gardesano

Review 1:Unfortunately it is not very well maintained. It is time to renovate it.

Review 2:Nice location close to Bussolengo city center and good position of you wish to visit Gardaland and Garda Lake. Big swimming pool. Hotel is always crowded. Lot of a young people. Nice view, especially from the swimming pool area being on top of a hill. Employees are nice and helpful.

Review 3:The food at the bar was quite expensive. Literally 10 min after breakfast I asked to fill up my baby bottle with water and the staff told me I had to buy water from the bar. The building needs a refurbishment..it looks like it hasn't been touched since the 90's.

Review 4:The views are gorgeous, especially from the swimming pool area being on top of a hill. Overall a good price for the value.

Review 5:The only thing we didn't like was the opening hours of the pool, which is from 9.30-19.00. It should open earlier and close later.

Review 6:Good location, close to Gardaland. Nice breakfast! You can have a drink outside by the pool in the evening. They also have a small animal farm out in the back with rabbits etc.:)

Review 7:Transportation was disappointing. There was only one bus going and fort to the area and the bus comes every four hours...

Review 8:Great family accommodation. We had a big room and children's bed were comfortable. View was superb.

Review 9:Pool opening and closing restrictions. Bathroom primitive and very small Bedroom very small Smell outside room Mosquitos Noisy Aircon Grubby feel

Review 10:Pool

Review 11:Pool and surroundings has to be renewed Sometimes pool surroundings where not clean Rooms have to be renewed Shower was to small Bathroom has to be renewed

Review 12:Pool size was ok Room size was ok Breakfast was ok Reception and help was ok

Review 13:Only one minor I could mention - terrible smell of linen and washes like after cleaning by some chemicals. I'm afraid it can lead even to negative consequancies for the allergics.

Review 14:Hotel is located near Gardalend - our goal in Nord Italy (only 15 minutes driving by car or even less) in the best direction (in opposite direction there is always terrible traffic along 20 km of Garda'side. The hotel is well equipped including large swimming pool. What impressed us so much - in contrast with the italien traditions the bar and restaurants in the hotel are opened the whole day till very late evening. And you will have dinner whenever you want! The check-in and check-out procedures were very smooth, personell is polite and understand english to our plesure. So we were very glad to stay at this hotel and could recommend it.

Review 15:Apsolutley everything was wonderful! Thank you!

Review 16:Uninterested staff, we waited two hours, tired, with two children, to replaced broken bed in the room.

Review 17:Worst stay on our holiday. Staff is rude and facilities run down. Rooms are extremely small.

Review 18:Not much.

Review 19:Flies in the dining room in the morning, ham & cheese could do with a cover to protect from flies

Review 20:Free gratias bus to and from Verona Fair. Helpfulness of staff Room had a balcony Good buffet choice

Review 21:after checking in we were followed by a young man, not knowing if he belongs to the hotel or not. That did not feel comfortable.

Review 22:my son esp. liked the area with the animals (ponys, goats, rabbits..)

Review 23:Terrible hotel. We had reservations for two nights but we left immediately after the first. Extremely dirty, impolite personal.Stayata is awfully small, dirty and uninviting. Pm to midnight there was noise, music and shouting. In the morning we were awakened by the company to wash underwear, lifted unimaginable noise below our window. breakfast cups of coffee were traces of lipstick.

Review 24:Nothing.

Review 25:The pictures must have been taken years ago because it seems not to have been taken care of. The room was so packed with beds that we could not walk in it, and the air conditioner was broken.

Review 26:air conditioning not working properly that made us change the room; the rooms have a wall wide window not fully covered from light so we often woke up due to morning sunlight.

Review 27:room forniture ensuit bathroom tasty and generous dinner and breakfast

Review 28:Tiny rooms. Beds took up all of the room so it was difficult to movearound. The ac in the room did not work. The bedding and pillowswere terrible.

Review 29:The pool was huge.

Review 30:The pool was closed already (07. sept.). Personal was not very friendly at our arrival... next morning was better (other people). Room's are very old, not renovated. Good that we did not needed the air-condition as the machine was without any cover, you could see all the parts of it. Rooms were kind of clean, but everything is so old and low cost that even if they would clean everything completely you would have the feeling that is still dirty. Coffee cups, spoons are not well cleaned. It was ok for one night (coming late, leaving early).

Review 31:Good breakfast. Low preis.

Review 32:everything , staff very rude , the pool was open to all and sundry and the music was so loud we had to retreat to our rooms ,when we asked them to turn it down slightly the y ignored us and turned it up even more , no consideration for guests , compared to everywhere we stayed in Italy and in europe this has got to be one of the worst hotels avoid at all costs especially at the weekend .

Review 33:Where to start? The rooms are very small and once inside the rattle of the air conditioner was beyond a joke. We were amazed that despite booking months ago we ended up in a room at the end of a block facing towards the dirt hill that blocks out the highway noise and overlooking the cleaners' area and a upkeep 'garden'. The shower was not even large enough to bend down if you dropped the soap and even once the door was opened you had to fish for the soap in the water pooling as the drains were blocked. This was in both of our rooms. We had travelled from Australia to this place for a wedding and needed to iron some clothes. When we asked at the reception for an iron, we were told 'not possible' - this place did not even have one!

Review 34:Leaving! We left a day early due to the experience. The cleaning staff in B Block were very nice and helpful.

Review 35:Well where do I start, the Hotel Centro Turistico Gardesano bedrooms look like they are out the 1970’s very, very basic. The wall paper was hanging off the walls, the bathroom is very small, no bath and a very cramped shower cubicle, with a broken shower handle. No electric shaving point, broken wall tiles. There was one socket and that did not work, no tea or coffee making facilities in the room, no hair dryer, a very old TV that did not work, dirty, cramped with a double and single bed, very basic wardrobe with a couple of basic wire hangers. The air conditioning had to be turned to maximum to get any effect and looked like an old heater stuck to the wall. We are not people to complain, really we are not. But honestly this hotel shocked us. When abroad we don’t expect fluent English speaking staff, just polite and courteous staff. The hotel staff look like they have been trained to be rude, honestly it’s a shock, every single hotel staff member was rude, did not like answering any questions, never ever smiles. And the odd thing is they have a picture similar to the depressing scream painting hung on the hotel reception wall. The staff really are all miserable, unfriendly and very, very rude. The swimming pool is a floating hell as it’s covered in thick scum on the water off so much sun oil being used. Cigarette ends dropped everywhere and you are walking in cigarette ash. I smoke but always use an ashtray. The swimming pool is always packed out any no sun loungers to use as the locals visit the hotel to use the pool.As the hotel is situated in the middle of literally nowhere, stuck in some off a main road country location, miles from Gardaland, theme park. We got Taxis arranged with some challenges by the hotel staff, going on two days to Gardaland as there was no bus we could get and this cost of the Taxi’s arranged by the hotel over the two days was 120 Euros, very expensive. But what can you do you are stuck in the middle of nowhere at this hotel.

Review 36:The views that look onto the mountains are very pleasant.

Review 37:Mass-tourism ... form reception, ver the services to the breakfast andcheck-out .... only good for a one night stop-over !

Review 38:The location for a stop over .. but thats all !

Review 39:The bedrooms were very basic and air conditioning didn't work even though we asked for it to be repaired!

Review 40:Great location for Lake Garda and a fantastic swimming pool to relax at after a day sight seeing!

Review 41:Service from the hotel personal in reception was bad. Their english waspoor. Did not seem to understand much and they had problems making themselves understood. The hotel was primarily booked with italian guestsand it often seemed like they had first priority for the hotel personal.Personal would interrupt the conversation with us if italians hadquestions. Air condition did not work the 4 days - in july - we stayedat the hotel. We complained but the excuse for not fixing it was thatthe entire hotel had problems with ac. Pool and bar is open untilmidnight or later which caused some noise in the evening/night.

Review 42:The pool and pool area was great. Big pool and many sun beds.Geograpically a little too far away from Lasize and Garda if you don'thave a car but very nice rual surroundings - direct view to wine fields.Simple room but clean and nice. Breakfast buffet okay. Nearestsupermarket 3km away. Public bus departuring from near the hotel butpublic transport is very unreliable - in the high season.

Review 43:The Receptionist . she is very rude and doesn`t want to provide anyassistance. She doesn`t know how she should treat customers. She is verybad really.

Review 44:Delicious food and clean swimming pool

Review 45:This place has so much potential to be brilliant but it is unfortuantely, if anything, below average. With the incredible mountain view and great size pool, this hotel could be luxurious but instead it is very Benidorm-esque with lots of kids running around and is generally very tacky. The food is horrendous (everything is made in batter, battered cauliflower, battered onion...I was surprised dessert wasn't battered.) Main advice would be to have a car, the bus service is dia, we waited nearly an hour some times to get to Lake Garda or Verona (not cool in 35 degrees) and the hotel does not have a taxi service.

Review 46:The pool is great and the view of the mountains from the poolside is fantastic.

Review 47:Very small showering cabin and bathroom.

Review 48:Very nice Hotel, easy to reach, very easy to reach Gardaland from the hotel. Very nice and clean swimming pool.

Review 49:The usual room facilities (coffee making, safe, fridge) were notavailable. No information regarding the complex, restaurant/bar timesetc was given from either the staff or in the room.

Review 50:This holiday complex is in an excellent location being close to bothLake Garda and Verona. The surrounding area is beautiful with anexcellent view from the swimming pool. There was a good selection forbreakfast and the room was comfortable, although basic.

Review 51:No wi-fi in rooms.

Review 52:Close to Gardaland park. Free parking.

Review 53:Worn out furnishings and bathroom, miniature shower cubicle, average only pizza.

Review 54:Convenient and quiet location, spacious room, cleanliness.

Review 55:simple but clean

Review 56:very unnurtired room' simple breakfest, even the coffe was made of powder and the' and the water pressure in the shower was very weak

Review 57:the pool
