Review 3：The owners could not have been nicer. Mimma seemed genuinely interested that we see the important sights in Monreale and in Palmermo. She drove us to the cathedral in Monreale, recommended a good restaurant, and then came to pick us up when we were finished! Her husband is a very nice guy. We spoke only Italian with Mimma and French with the husband. We were in the suite, which was enormous and very comfortable. The breakfast was good, and Mimma stayed there the whole time to take care of any of our needs. It is not an easy drive to this place, but once you are there, with your car parked inside the gate, it is very relaxing.

Review 4：An oasis away from the chaos of the Palermo. This is a true estate, rooms are beyond expectation in size, decor, furnishing, and grounds are like a small well manicured park. Breakfast is excellent, nothing spared. If you are visiting the Cathedral, this is the BEST place to stay. It is also about 1 hr 15 mon to Segesta - a must see! Although there is no frig in room, we were able to place a couple of items in the breakfast room frig, where we enjoyed a light dinner at a table. Truly, like being at home! You will not be disappointed!

Review 8：Possibly the best B&B we've ever stayed in! Amazing hosts, nothing too much trouble, Teodoro shunted us and other guests to restaurants in Monreale, to catch the bus to Palermo and pick us up again. Rooms spacious and spotless, decor charming, garden amazing, pool divine.

Review 9：Al Giardino is hard to find, but if you call ahead or let them know, they will get you in and out (and into the centro for the miraculous duomo) if you ask.

Review 12：This is a beautiful property. Luxurious facility with a lovely, large garden and pool. Between the family members they are fluent in English, French and Italian and were very sweet and accommodating. I'm sure it was one of the higher priced rooms of our trip but was so worth it I don't remember how high.

Review 13：Tricky to find, and outside the main town so car or taxi needed for restaurants and sightseeing.

Review 15：The distance to the historic centre and the cathedral is 1200 meters, steeply uphill (not 400 meters as stated in the description). We assumed we would be able to walk there, but in the hot weather it proved too taxing. No resturants or cafes nearby and no tea making facilities. Very restrictive hours when you can use the pool - 9.30 to 12.30 and 16.00 to 18.00 only, so if you feel like taking a dip on return from the sightseeing or have a swim in early afternoon you will not be able to do it.

Review 16：Absolutely lovely garden, large swimming pool, quiet place, fresh air, room stylishly furnished. The owner, Teodoro, extremely helpful, he offered to drive us to the Monreale Cathedral.

Review 19：It is a little difficult to find, but GPS helps. It is a longer way from bus stops and the cathedral than we had anticipated but Lorenzo drove us when we were confused.

Review 20：Hosts were very accommodating in helping us find our way to the bus stops and Monreale Cathedral (even drove us to the right places!). The breakfast was varied and consistently excellent. Our room was extra large and the bathroom was luxurious. The pool and gardens were peaceful and cool to relax after a long day of walking and touring.

Review 24：We booked a suite which I recommend for space and facilities. The bedroom was very nice, plenty of room and seating. The bathroom was love!y and the whole place was spotless. The family owners were all very friendly - mama most of all. She only spoke Italian but her son has good English as did her husband who also had French. Breakfast was whatever time we wanted it and there was a nice selection of sweet, savoury, cereal and dairy produce. The b&b is close to Monreale and you can get a lift into town if you don't want to drive. It's a comfortable and friendly base for touring Western Sicily. The garden was great for just lounging about in with a pool for when it gets really hot.

Review 26：Everything. Lovely tranquil setting from the manic traffic in Palermo. Our hosts could have not been more accommodating, drove and collected us each night from their recommended restaurants in delightful Monreale. Spotless clean rooms, good breakfast - this is the place to stay.

Review 34：The de3coration of the house are nice and clean. But - you are notallowed basically to touch anything. The swimming pool is opened for 3hours in the morning and then 2 in the evening. In the hottest period ofthe day you are not allowed to use the swimming pool. This is not theend of the restrictions. We discovered on the second day of our stay avery rude remark on our table - that it is forbidden to eat in the room.By the way - in the booking.com offer is is advertised that you canorder breakfast to your room - how does this correspond with the note wefound in our room??? Secondly - we were not told that we cannot eat inthe room. Your room is cleaned everyday but all your belongings aremisplaced to the way the owner likes it to be placed. We found itunacceptable and trid to tell the woner, but they do not speak anyEnglish. There are more rules, which we have never seen in any hotel,although we have been travelling to hundreds in the past. Would notrecommend at all.

Beautiful pool area is perfect to relax after a visit to chaotic Palermo. I can't imagine that you can expect more, if you decide to stay out of bustling Palermo ...

Review 59：This is a price of heaven. The whole villa , the pool and it's grounds are all absolutely beautiful . the room was enormous, immaculately clean and well appointed. The location was wonderful for getting into Palermo and monreale . Theodore the owner and his lovely wife were the kindness most generous and hospitable hosts we have ever encountered. We had gotten lost driving there and he came and got us to follow him back. He drove us into monreale and picked us up after dinner and drove us to the bus stop for Palermo the next morning allowing us to leave our car in there villa for the day. We changed out reservation for our last night in Sicily in order to return there!
