Review 1：Sylvia is an outstanding hostess who goes out of her way to assist guests. Location is a good, not so busy staging point, for visiting many of the attractions in the area. We had only planned to stay one night but were so pleased we stayed an extra night. Rooms are very large and spotlessly clean and the breakfast is also excellent. It looks very unassuming from the outside but once inside it quickly becomes apparent it is one of the nicer B & B's around this part of Sicily.
Review 2：The location looks like a bit sloppy, but the fact is that the area is quite, safe and very close to the city centre -200-300 hundred m. walk-. Great breakfast and gently woman running it who advise properly about everything (particularly on restaurants)
Review 3：Sylvia is a delight; she cannot do enough for you and is immensely friendly and helpful. The place is very tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean; you would think it was redone yesterday! Sylvia provided a generous and delicious breakfast and recommended a quite exceptional restaurant nearby for dinner.

The breakfast was amazing - fresh fruit, cheese, ham, salami, lots of different breads, yogurt. Lots of it and all great quality. The room was spotless, the bed huge and comfortable. We would highly recommend the B & B.
Review 9：When you enter the city with the car, it may be a little scary: quite dirty, not many people on the streets... But the hotel is great: clean, well furnished and decorated, perfect breakfast, and the owner is really nice and helpful. Regarding the city, it is well located: close to Agrigento, la Scala dei Turchi, and other touristic attractions... and much cheaper than any of them!! So better to sleep here than somewhere else, and during the day leave this not so beautiful city ;) You can always park the car right on the door

Review 21：Excellent place, wonderful decoration, large rooms. Friendly and helpful owner. Excellent location for visiting the Valley of the Temples and within 5 minutes walk from the center of Porto Empedocle, where there are a few good restaurants, plenty of parking spaces. The best B&B we stayed in Sicily.
Review 22：Location was odd and bordered on bazaar. But once we got past this--the accommodations were very good. The owner was very nice but did not speak English. Luckily one person in our group spoke Italian.

Very nice, friendly and helpful staff, who surprised us with pleasant attitude and wonderful breakfast (we got ham, hot croissants, wonderful cappuccino). We liked this hotel best on our 7-day trip around Sicily. I strongly recommend to stay here.

Review 33：Porto Empedocle is a good alternative to staying in Agrigento. It gives a visitor a small town experience in Sicily--very different from the cities. In the evening the whole town turns out in the cafes and the pedestrian Via Roma. Very good restaurants as well. A public bus provides easy access to the Greek temple site. It's the town where the playwright Pirandello grew up as did the mystery novel writer Camilleri whose main character is a policeman in a town like Porto Empedocle.
