Review 3：We have stayed in Sacile several times before but this was our first trip to la Chiocciola. We were made to feel special from the moment we arrived until the morning we left by Pietro and Nadia and the other staff. It is perfectly placed about a mile from Sacile centre - a ten minute ride on the bikes provided. The rooms are lovely and clean with good Wifi and nice bathrooms. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners. on the first day, we noticed there were no lights on the bikes - I asked Pietro about them and ten minutes later, he was off to buy some. The next day, one of the bikes was playing up a bit - no problem, Pietro had fabulous replacement ones for both of us the next day (onto which he'd remembered to transfer the lights). They were fabulously friendly and welcoming, giving us several recommendations for places we had not visited before, which turned out to be lovely. On the last day, we had to leave very early so I said that we would pass on breakfast - despite that, Pietro was up and waiting for us with fresh coffee, juice and pastries. A typically lovely gesture. A fabulous stay. Sad to leave - we can't wait to go back next year.
