Review 1：Without a car it is a bit harder to get around but not impossible.

Review 2：Staff is genuinely super friendly. Staff went above and beyond to help us out when we had some problems unrelated to them and refused to accept our tip. Extremely good value for money. Breakfast was nice. Dead in the middle of Rome, Florence, Sienna and Arezzo (visit this town!).

Review 5：Owners accommodation on ground floor, all I heard all night was a series of loud conversations in Italian. Cockerel can be heard from around 2 am so don't expect any sleep. Also the owners mother continually shouted out during the night. Seriously thought of packing up and continuing with my journey at 4 am. Felt more like a private house than a hotel. Oh and shower doesn't drain resulting in floor 2 inches in water, this includes the bedroom floor. Wouldn't stay there gain.

Review 41：It was out in the country overlooking a lake. There were fishermen everywhere and we enjoyed their friendly banter. Goose shooting opening morning and we could here the hunters across the lake. Very friendly staff and owners. Great breakfast and superb coffee. For us Kiwis this remote place was ideal right down to the rooster crowing in the morning and the dogs barking in the distance. We enjoyed a great night's sleep.

Review 42：The only one negative thing was there was no wifi signal in room.

Review 43：Everything was just awesome. Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was great, location was really peaceful and on the side of lake. In addition, the staffs were super sweet! They didn't speak that much English, but very friendly. I got back at 12:30am to the hotel, and the owners were just sitting in the lobby, waiting for me to make sure I could get in(Hotel entrance closed at 12am usually).

Review 44：Too noisy at night. While we were there, local fishermen sit close by drinking and talking to all hours, plus dogs barking and roosters crowing. Wanted the country experience, but this was too much.

Review 46：It is a bit difficult to find, but if you are not looking for the hotel in the middle of the night like we did you will find it for sure! The bathrooms are very very small and the showers are... not very good- this was the main problem for us.

Charming and peaceful situation by a tranquil lake with abundant bird-song. Friendly staff, simple but fully functional rooms and very useful free wi-fi facility. Pleasant continental breakfast served energetically and attentively. Ground floor room allocated to my father with limited mobility. Altogether a delightful place to stay for a week.

Review 54：The only slightly negative thing to say is the soundproofing of the building was poor which was not an issue when I travelled but could be in the busy holiday periods.

Review 55：The hotel is positioned by the side of a lake in a rural area and is remote from the fairly industrial area to the south. The room was functional with a good shower, breakfast was good with items brought as requested, adequate parking and good value.

Review 57：We were at the very end of the season so it was very quiet. It would probably have been fine during season. No restaurant but short drive to a good pizzaria. As a stopping off point in a driving tour it was fine but the area itself was not v attractive. We got to Arrezzo quite quickly having arrived from Chianti

Review 60：The lake was almost empty when we got there... it is supposed to fill up apperantly these days but in the meanwhile it is a small smelly puddel. It was really hot and stuffy in the room and quite small.

Review 63：The whole place was in need of updating. It was a place still sat in its former glory with the potential to be beautiful. Some of the grounds were very pretty but there were dogs kept on the premises and geese, both of which are very noisy at night. Another thing that was disappointing was a mix up in terms of payment. I believed that I had already paid for our stay mon before as the hotel works on a pre-pay system, however I was billed for the full amount on the last day. They told me that for some reason the payment hadn't gone through when booking but had failed to tell me this. Our spending money for the entire trip was immediately gone and the rest of Italy had to be done on a shoe string.

Review 66：Extremely friendly and accommodating staff. It seems to be an old familyrun hotel and in the evenings you can sit with them in the hotel loungeand watch tv and practise your Italian. They also spoke English. Thelocation was tranquil and peaceful and we had a view of the lake fromour room. Just a short drive away is the station with free parking closeby where, for just a few euros, you can get a train to Florence. Thecontinental breakfast was superb and was served at table. All thepositives outweighed the negatives below for a short stay hotel.
