Review 2：Lovely location, wonderful views and the house was spotless throughout. The owner Massimo was friendly and extremely helpful and recommended the nicest place we found to eat all holiday. We felt at home the minute we arrived and would not hesitate to return in the future. The music theme added a wonderful personal dimension to an already lovely place to stay.

Review 7：There wasn't really anything we didn't like. The walk into Mandello was bracing but we could easily have got the train.
Review 8：We were really happy to see the view from the balcony. Imagine our pleasure when we woke up the next morning to see the full moon setting across the lake from our balcony. The rising sun turned the snow on distant peaks pink. There were great restaurants nearby and a station just up the hill behind the house. Everything was scrupulously clean. We would come here again in an instant.
Review 9：There is a train behind the house. If you really like your freedom than you might want to reconsider, a nice owner but he is around all the time and looking for company. His English needs some improvement. Again, the owner is very nice but also very compelling about that we had to write a good review and only a good review. So we received multiple messages even after the holiday about writing a good review. Annoying.

Review 12：arrived here after 3am after a long drive, wake up the owner for my reservation and he cordially allowed me to live in the whole spacious floor room, with comfortable bed, clean restroom. Next morning got up at noon, with his amazing breakfast and snacks. It has good view for the lake, and the best experience for the B&B in my life. Definitely will come back again!

Review 14：Massimo was a great host, we felt very welcome in his house. Everything was very clean and from the house, especially from our room we had a PERFECT view on the lago di como. Over all we had a really great time at the casa della musica, grazie massimo! :)
Review 15：In our (mother-daughter) 10-day trek across 5 countries, Massimo's B & B has been our favorite stop. It's in a beautiful peaceful Italian village right on the edge of Lake Como. The house is spotless and we stayed up in the loft with twin beds, sofas, tv, and a great view of Lake Como. It was so restful. It's also just 20 minutes down the lakeside road from Varenna, which has a mansion and castle you can your, and a ferry boat which can take you to any other famous city on Lake Como. We were amazed by Massimo's friendliness and hospitality. When we asked for some hard boiled eggs to go with our delicious pastries for breakfast, they ran out and bought them fresh across the street immediately. Such a welcoming Italian home. We hope to go back and bring our whole family.
