Review 1：Room was cold even after mentioning it to the staff. The restaurant dinner was far below expectations. Small portions of anaemic-looking meat to go with a buffet of cold vegetables, canteen style.

Review 8：From the beginning we upgraded our room to suite with spectacular view. It's worth it. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Every one. You feel welcome all the time. Perfect breakfast. High style dinner. A variety of hiking trails for all levels in area.

Review 9：Amazing stuff! From the first to the last person genuine gentlemen transforming a "hotel" stay into home-like experience. The structure itself is really nice and elegant with a nice spa area included. Breakfast was of excellent quality.

Review 10：The spa facilitiies were phenomenal - thoroughly enjoyed the pool, bubble baths and the relaxation suite. The hotel owners let us stay extra time in the hotel room to enjoy the spa because we had arrived very late the night before. They were extremely kind and helpful

Review 11：The holiday was planned to hike around Cogne and Lillaz valleys. We managed 4 good walks in 5 days with splendid scenery and peaceful surroundings. On returning to the hotel we all enjoyed the spa facilities, followed by a cocktail in the bar every night! The quality of the food and service in the hotel is excellent. Overall a fantastic experience!

Review 30：I was expecting something more classical looking based on the pictures but it was fine. We did get stuck in a room right next to an elevator which was quite noisy. We would have loved to have tried the restaurant but due to a wedding going on we had to find someplace else.

Review 34：Nice rooms, clean and cosy. Quite at night. The hotell is overall very charming with a nice decor and style. The SPA is very nice, a perfect way to end the day after skiing or walking. We particularly love the Turkish sauna and cold bath! Loved it!

Review 35：The only thing I didn't like was the ridiculous traditional / weird dress that the female waitresses and domestic staff have to wear. The men get to wear nice suits while the women have to wear big black dresses - not fair!

Review 36：We loved our stay at this hotel, it is very Italian inside full of painted alcoves and oil paintings. It has a free underground car park. Our room was very comfortable with a stunning view across the mountains and national park from our balcony. Just across the road from the hotel there are lots of signed walks along the river or into the mountains. Or the hotel has mountain bikes you can borrow. Cogne itself is very charming with lots of beautiful cake and Italian food shops. The hotel has an amazing bar and restaurant. We had a really lovely 5-course meal for 25 euros (usually 35 euro's but there was a deal on), and the sommelier recommend some fantastic local wine. Breakfast was included in the price and again was delicious with a large array of hot and cold food available.

Review 38：Superb staff, nearly as family. Luxury rooms, all brand new since 2013. The hotel has been closed dring 2 years for renovation and is fabulous. The swimming and relax area is unseen: a palace worth. And the food is TOP (30 euro for 5 courses)

Review 44：This was a beautifully situated hotel in the charming town of Cogne in the Gran Paradiso. We had asked for a room with a view which we were given looking out onto the snow capped mountains. It was an extremely hot day and having walked for over 6hrs we were very grateful to be able to cool off in the small indoor swimming pool and relax weary musles in the hot tub. Although we did not have an evening meal we did enjoy the buffet style breafast which amply set us up for the next section of the Alta Via 2. In summary, a perfect break in what turned out to be a pretty arduous trek and I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Both refined and relaxed A 4 star hotel of exceptional value.
