Review 1：Since the area where hotel is situated is very humid, there is a smell of mould in the rooms (we tried two). Air conditioner does not help much, and also an old-fashioned hairdryer system in the bathroom is of some discomfort.

Review 2：The hotel is located in the a beautiful park with many animals, free to visit anytime. The staff is very well-trained and helpful, and there are very nice areas in the hotel's territory: bar near the pool, terrace, even hotel's lobby. The breakfast is served until 10:30, which is nice for people who want to sleep for a bit longer in the morning.

Review 22：Didn't really like the town of Arbatax as it is quite industrial with lots of big cranes but this is not visible or that close to the hotel really. The private beach is not really a beach but it is nice setting all the same. Our bath leaked a bit and bathroom floor would get all wet.

The setting/views from eating area is amazing. The buffet dinner is excellent quality & value for money. The park setting is great for walks in the evening. Wifi in public areas is good. Some great beaches a short drive away from Tortoli.

Review 24：The restaurant food was awful. After spending the amount of money we didand having our room flood only to be put into two smaller rooms, whichended up being the most comfortable we stayed in due to their workingac. It was a nightmare. We started off with the best of the rooms andwhen it flooded they said they would upgrade us. Impossible when youalready have the best. After they temporarily moved us to two smallerrooms, we were given a new room the next night. It was smaller than whatwe paid for. Only had one bathroom compared to the two we had and zeroviews. Their solution was to pay for one nights dinner. To add havingone bathroom for four people was crazy. To make matters worse the bedsand pillows were miserable rocks. We ended up checking out early andstaying at a different hotel which ended up being amazingly a thousandtimes more comfortable. Their food was better and staff lesspretentious. If anyone had the right of being pretentious it surlywasn't the staff at Monte hotel. Oh they also sold the expositionsas sandy beaches...NOOOO They were painful rock covered beaches far toodangers for children. Very disappointed with this vacation.

Review 28：We were very disappointed . The Name Luxury Resort is not representing the reality. We wanted to see our room before paying this was not possible- we had to pay and then we could enter the resort. The first room they offered us was a dark whole The alternative was not really better... it had a little window but was dark, old and wet with incredible smell. The use of the Cabin was impossible. The bed was hard. The bathroom with old facilities, defect tiles and in Germany we say Schimmel. The beach is not a beach - it is a terrace made in wood and then covered with textile which partially also is defect. One morning we had to wait more than 30 Minutes for a cappuccino and asked for it 3 times. In common the resort has been luxury maybe 30 years ago. Today you will find better agriturismo for less price!

Review 32：The hotel's 'private beach' is a concrete platform overlooking a tiny bay. There are other beaches in the main resort, but they're nothing to write home about. No wifi in the rooms. The catering in the resort restaurants was generally poor.

Review 36：The largest disappointment was that there were no beaches there! The Monte Turry has ocean access, but not close to a beach. On the other side of the resort, they have filled sand in two mini-bays, but this is not at all, what you think about as a Sardinian beach. Tiny and poor. The main pool in this part of the resort was quite small, and there were fare from enough sun beds for all the guests. They also played VERY loud music for the whole day – hence not the right place to relax and enjoy a good book. This part of the resort only had one place for lunch, which only had buffet service – crowded and poor! From the images, we imagined this place to be a bit up scale, but it was fare from it. Noisy, busy, crowded, average rooms and poor food.

Review 37：We had high expectations for Monte Turry, where we spent a few nights during out honeymoon. This is an OK hotel, but it did not meet our expectations 100%. We loved that the hotel is located in a natural reserve with several different animals that you can visit at any time. Monte Turry is a part of Arbatax Resort, and guests are welcome to use all the Resort Facilities. However, most of the resort is located on the other side of the animal-park (10-15 min walking). The hotel is located in a beautiful, downhill area, with a fantastic view from the upper part. Further down there are several small houses with the hotel rooms, surrounded by narrow paths and trees. The rooms were clean and large, but otherwise average. The breakfast buffet was also OK, served with a fantastic view.

Had my birthday there and the chef de service had organized a special suprise at dinner! excellent. We can recommend the place and it's atmospare.

Review 41：Smelly fusty rooms. They are cleaned with really overpowering liquids to take away the smell of the damp in the rooms. Needs an overall to warrant the price. Food good and main hotel floors restaurant and bar ok, but again needs an overall.

Review 43：- No lunch available at the restaurant. At least they should have offered a buffet on lunchtime because otherwise there aren't any restaurants/ supermarkets around were you can have lunch. The only alternative is to buy snacks at the bar, which isn't great. - The pillows are small and uncomfortable. - No wi-fi in the room. Wi-fi is available only at the reception. (But this is stated in the hotel details) - No premium channels available in the room (e.g. Sky Sports). The availability of sky channels was stated in the hotel details but these weren't available. I could only watch the World Cup at the reception.

Review 44：Very nice private beach with elevator access. During our stay there weren't many visitors to the beach so most of the time we had the beach and the sea just to ourselves, which was fantastic. The area is very beautiful with a lot of preserved traditional architecture. The restaurant is SUPERB. And it offers a breathtaking view to the sea and the cliffs. The staff is very professional and friendly.

Review 57：no sandy beaches at the resort but 2 beaches where you can relax on sun loungers and still beautiful views and sea, and there is a sandy beach at the other resort that you can go to but its a bus journey away or a 30 min walk.

Review 58：the staff were amazing! such beautiful views and amazing breakfast. we got upgraded for free as well due to having a very stressful flight and our luggage being delayed for 48hours! so the upgrade was much appreciated and such a kind gesture! the staff couldn't do enough to ensure that our luggage arrived asap, and were so helpful through out our stay. every night they had a beautiful pianist who played in the evening in the lobby where you could relax, have a drink and listen to him play on the sofas. there is also a local village called tortoli where you can grab a bite to eat and do some shopping which was great considering we had no luggage or clothes! I would recommend renting a car as you need it to get around to different beaches or the town as it would be quite a walk, but if you would just like to relax at the resort there are plenty of pools and restaurants to eat at! overall we had a great week and go back tomorrow if we could!

Review 59：the food wasn't local enough (too international) the bedroom was a bit smelly (but it's mainly due to the humidity of the stone houses, we have cute houses and humudity is the price to pay...can be a bit fixed with opening the windows and letting the aeration from the toilet on...but the hotel should do smth about it), the bed wasn't great and the decoration of the room wasn't 4 stars.the private beach is not open between 1pm and 3 pm and close at 6pm. it open at 8am but the lifeguard arrives only at 11am and before you cannot really swimm because he's instaling the ladder to go in the water. It^s easier to swimm in the other beach, but the walk for return is a bit too sporty for holidays. the sandy beach (Orri) cost 6 euro (it's still a nice travel by boat) but they kick you out after 2.5 hours...for 6 euro and just the time to start enjoying it...the smimming pool wasn't very clean, wifi doesn't work in bedrooms, not enough information offerd about the facility, they have a really great place but don't really explain it, you have to find from yourself...

Review 60：the parc is really great, big offers a nice walk with great views and cute animals (goars, deers, ...) the view from the hotel is really great, the private tiny "beach" (platform on rocks) is great and has a private...funicular or lift with a glass window, the staff were very friendly, the room was very clean, the village is really nice and even if parts of it is fake it still feel autantic, because every house is different, in stone, old and cute, ther's several swiming pools, and lots of activities within the parc. the SPA is really great, the staff makes eveyrthing to make it conveniant for you and transport you trroughout the huge resorts

Review 65：The personnel in the restaurant and at breakfast was not nice. The first evening we went to the restaurant, but after asking for information about dinner, we decided not to join the buffet (30 euros p.p. exclusive drinks) because we were not that hungry. One of the waiters has asked to justify our choice, one of the following days! Moreover, they blamed us because at breakfast we seated on the tables that were prepared for lunch, when outside was raining and cold (thus impossible to sit) and no other table was ready. Breakfast is from 7:30 to 10:00 and we had often an early start to join some tours, but we really had the feeling of not being so welcome (at 7:45), perhaps because too early. The shower is a bit funny: it is in the bathtub, but the showerhead is too close to the wall so it was difficult to stand. The first day the cleaning lady came at 10.30 (notice that breakfast ends at 10) and expected us to leave the room, without even say sorry. This is not what you expect from a 4-star hotel.

Review 69：The hotel definitely needs refurbishment, maintenance and better conditioning (rooms are very humid).Bathrooms in particular are really crumbling and uncomfortable, with an unacceptably noisy fan. The services are too basic for a 4+ star hotel (e.g. no restaurant for lunch, no room service, no laundry service, nobody to help you with luggage, no room service in the afternoon: a day the bathroom was flooded by water and it took more than 1 hour to have it fixed and cleaned) the prices are quite low but then you pay any kind of small extra (even the internal shuttle!), the organization is quite poor (e.g. you need to pay some extras with chip card only, others with cash only, others with credit card...), finally personnel at the reception is sometimes quite rude. Almost no local products at the restaurant.
