Review 1：It seems most Italian mattresses are very firm. To me and my husband, these were hard.

Review 2：The staff gave wonderful recommendations and were very helpful. The Wi-Fi works well. The location was fabulous. The room was clean.

Review 7：Great location in the center of Pistoia (especially for Pistoia Blues Festival). If you are traveling by car, I recommend nearby (cca. 200 m) parking on Via Vignaccia (Piazza Santo Stefano). I would stay there again and would definitely recommend this hotel to my friend!

Review 8：Wifi system was annoying as had to keep signing in. Air-conditioning was inadequate. Small point but on 3 hangers so had to leave clothes on chair. Breakfast was disappointing with very little fresh fruit and soggy bacon.

Review 10：where do I start - the staff are so friendly, helpful and delightful. Always on hand, nothing is too much to ask. The room was fantastic in terms of space, amenities, location .In addition I finally had access to a shower with a proper shower head and water pressure!! We also had a great breakfast and the coffee was great. Elvis and all of the staff are to be commended.

Review 17：The second room was a twin-bedded room and although well furnished was rather small for its purpose with inadequate wardrobe space [only one,there were two in the other room. Half of the wardrobe was taken up by the fridge and the safe].

Review 18：A very good hotel with high quality furnishings and modern in appearance. It provides a welcome aspect to visitors situated as it is in a quiet side street near to the town centre. Of the two rooms used one was large with a good range of furniture and equipment. The bathroom was also large and well stocked. Breakfasts were good, typically Italian fare. A special word of praise for the staff who were excellent, helpful and accommodating.

Review 21：We arrived by car and the hotel was very difficult to find. Google maps got us to the general vicinity near the statue of Garibaldi, but we could not spot the hotel. After circling Garibaldi several times, we finally found a parking spot (not easy in Pistoia) and set off on foot to find the hotel. It is in a narrow street (I would call it an alley) behind the statue. Once we got there, we enjoyed our stay! Minor issue with no hot water in the room but it was fixed within a couple of hours after I called the front desk.

Review 22：My adult daughter and I loved everything about the Hotel Patria, especially the luxurious bath with two sinks! The staff were pleasant and helpful and breakfast was very nice. We were within easy walking distance of the town piazza, shopping, and restaurants.

Review 23：Minor things. Breakfast was fine if unspectacular, and somewhat disorganised after the peak periods - but staff happy to get anything that was missing. Pillows a bit hard - but same in all places we stayed in Italy.

Review 24：Location - central for the old centre of Pistoia as well as railway station. Very attractive comfortable small hotel, quiet and efficient. Lovely artwork in foyer and corridors. Spacious bathroom and good facilities. A very lovely stay for 4 nights. would happily stay here again.

Review 25：The rooms were way too hot, as the air con had been switched off as it is 'winter', even though it was a warm October and 25 degrees outside. We even discovered after 2 days, that the heating was on in the rooms, which also made it even hotter, luckily when we told reception they turned it off, but still weren't able to turn on the air conditioning!

Review 26：Nice small hotel with friendly staff, moments away from the centre of Pistoia. The rooms were nicely decorated in a modern style and the bathroom was amazing, with a huge shower and lovely antique sink. Breakfast was good, with a nice choice of continental breakfast. The rooms, especially the beds were very comfy and it was a nice relaxing place to stay.

Review 27：There were no hooks for dressing gowns in the bathroom and not enough surfaces to put things down there. I would have liked some fresh fruit at breakfast.

Review 29：We were driving from Pietrasanta (on the coast near Carrara) to Florence and wanted to stop in Pistoia to see its sights, since we'd read it was lovely but overshadowed by Florence (true!). The hotel was a wonderful surprise--quite nice and the price was a bargain. The staff was extremely helpful with great suggestions for parking and restaurants. Breakfast was good in their nice bar, and the wifi worked great. We would love to return to Pistoia and will stay here if we do.

Review 30：The free parking is on the street and difficult to get a space. The hotel is a little difficult to locate. It's easy to miss the street it's on. Only one sign and it isn't at the street you need to turn into. City has a lot of LTZ areas

Review 38：The hotel is located in a wonderful central position in easy reach of all cultural sites and great selection of bars and restaurants within a few minutes' stroll. The room was not huge but stylish and comfortable with all the necessary facilities. The air conditioning was quiet, very effective and most welcome in the July heat. The bathroom was large and exceptionally well appointed. The breakfast buffet provided a wide selection for all tastes. All hotel staff we met were friendly and professional.

Review 39：Parking a little tricky in Pistoia due to it being a very old city with a confusing one way system. It did take us a while go find the hotel by car. The hotel does offer free public parking which was great.

Review 88：The location of the hotel is superb, right in the heart of the historical centre, an easy walk from the train station, and with excellent restaurants literally minutes away. The rooms (we felt a little on the small side) are elegant with a nice spacious bathroom, The continental breakfast included everything, with scrambled eggs on request. Every member of staff we met were helpful and very very friendly. Their sight seeing advice was perfect.

Review 107：It was only a minor inconvenience, but there was no onsite parking. Arrived on street cleaning evening which meant parking on a pay car park for the night, this then meant getting up reasonably early next morning to move the car to the free street parking courtesy of the hotel issued parking. permit.
