The family-run Pension Arnspitze offers a quiet location at the edge of the forest, right by the entrance to the valleys of the Karwendel mountains and the Isar River’s source.
All rooms and apartments have a balcony with views of the surrounding mountains.

Review 1：We couldn't have been any happier staying here in scharnitz. We came across this pension when looking for places near Innsbruck. What a pleasant area! We wanted to stay longer but unfortunately had to continue on with our trip. The town is very quiet and perfect for individuals looking to get away from big cities. Very close in proximity to hiking and biking. We ended up doing two hikes while we were there and a run along the river! Literally right outside the doors of the pension are trails and roads which lead to the most incredible hiking and views. The location was beautiful.. In the mountains! We really were beyond pleased. The hosts were magnificent. We ended up eating dinner at the pension one of the nights and had a delicious and large meal cooked for us to enjoy. They were also so helpful with providing us information of where to go. For breakfast there were plenty of options and one of the best breakfasts we have had all trip (fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, meats, cheese, bread, coffee, juice) We really hope we can come back and visit some day because we still can not stop talking about how scharnitz and our stay at the pension was our favorite on our trip! Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

Review 2：Wi-fi wasn't working in our room at all, downstairs occasionally. Our hostess first forgot to heat up the sauna for us, even though we had requested for it well in time. Non-German speakers might face some language barriers.

Review 3：Very quiet location in Scharnitz, good for cross-country skiers (app. 10 km to Seefeld). Good homemade food, very nice and warm room and sauna for a separate request.
