Review 2：This hotel was virtually perfect. The staff were exceptional. The location in Palermo was great for shopping, food and relaxation. The breakfast was delicious. It was amazing!

Review 3：The front office staff were very helpful and proactive before and on arrival with baggage storage (we arrived at 0930), tour arrangements and taxis, arranging a 0515 departure to airport on our third morning. Their English was very good. Some of them were fluent. Good breakfast with good service in the dining room. Bedroom clean, comfortable and quiet (304). Swimming pool was in a very pleasant area with extra towels and loungers provided although there may have been a mosquito or two around the shower area. Palermo is a very good area to soak up some BA culture. It is safe and easy to walk around.

Review 5：A very nice boutique hotel in the heart of elegant Palermo area. The absolute best about the hotel is the staff: very helpful, friendly and caring, you really feel surrounded by friends. The hotel is small and elegant, quiet rooms, very nice organic breakfast.

Review 9：Lots of helpful and friendly staff. Very small pool but good for a quick dip if it's hot. Little areas outside for sitting and ordering a drink and snacks. Very tasty breakfast choices, especially the omlette and fruit, pastries etc. Relaxing environment in the hotel and easy to walk out to great restaurants and cafes and bars and tango classes in this trendy area. Staff offer great advice for places to visit and help with organising these.

Review 10：Arriving late, they tried to sell me the most expensive suite, " nothing else was available". I booked a normal room through booking.com, and surprise: a regular room was available !!! This didn't prevent them from charging me more than the booking.com rate! there is a word in English for this:crooks.

Review 13：Gives you a prime spot for discovering a more hip and bohemian side to BA. A little grungy but vibrant. The hotel is very stylish , breakfast is great and the rooms are comfortable. But what stands out most are the hotel's staff. I've seldom met better. Unfailingly helpful, charming and polite. Nothing is too much trouble.

Bed, bathroom, air conditioning, view to the pool, the pool itself, drinks on happy-hour promotion every day, breakfast included, impeccable wi-fi, lots of sockets, flavored water at the entrance and little chockie bars. And the whole crew answers your questions on Exchange, addresses of stores and museums, they even call places you want to go to, asking about times and prices, and calling trustworthy taxis. The best and most complete hotel I’ve stayed at, in the best neighborhood of Buenos Aires.

Even the lovely public space was generously offer for our use on our departure day. Wish we had been here longer than one night. Great neighborhood, great hotel.

Review 28：Rooms are extremely small. We moved to a superior room which was a bit bigger. Furniture (in rooms and lobby) is very uncomfortable. There are no English speaking news channels on the tv.

Review 31：The staff really made this place special for us, they were friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make our lives easier. We also really enjoyed the breakfast, eggs to order, cold cuts, cheeses, pastries and fruits amongst other things. The rooms are delightful, great bath and very comfortable (and huge) bed. I would definitely recommend staying here. Think about taking/paying in dollars or euros as a 20% discount was on offer at the time we went if paying in these currencies, unfortunately didn't apply on prepaid card transactions which is what we did.

Review 34：The only thing I didn't like is that some taxi driver that the hotel booked did a big round in the city to make extra money and charge extra with the taxi meter. But this was a minor incident and immediately reported to the reception that took action. All got sorted.

Review 65：I left my camera in the lobby while getting my luggage ready for the taxi to the airport. Twenty four hours later, we were home, and an email from the Mine Hotel was waiting for me. They had found my camera and were ready to send it on to me! That's what I call great service. I didn't even know I left it behind.

Review 66：The only downside was that the hotel did not serve food for lunch or dinner which was disappointing. We couldnt find take out places and most locals eat dinner so late so it would be nice to do room service in the hotel sometimes. The pool didnt get cleaned every day either so it was too dirty to swim in.

From booking tango or football tickets, to dinner reservations, to shopping recommendations, they always had time for you and spoken great English. For families with small children though the rooms are toosmall, we had to keep the veranda doors closed at all times becausethere was a glass frame only, with enough space for a small baby to gothrough, and the children's attractions and city center were kind offar. We also had a few problems, like the weather was extremely hot andthe air conditioning would drop water on the floor if we lowered thetemperature to under 20 degrees.

Review 87：The Mine Hotel experience overall is spectacular, mainly because ofcustomer service. Many five star hotels do not reach this level ofconcern about your well being. Decoration overall is very cool andmodern, with the exception that the shower heads are kind of clumsy.Those were the two highlights of our stay. In the fifth day of our stay,we ran out of cold water in the room and were offered another room toshower, and after a few hours, thanks to the dedication of the wonderfulmanager, he fixed the problem himself, and to compensate for the hassle,we were offered alkohol-free drinks and even a tango cd, which wasreally nice. The breakfast had few choices but the food was reallydelicious and the bread was home made.

The staff of the hotel was great and all of them went out of their way to make us comfortable and make sure all was fine. One of them came out of the hotel to help us one day when we arrived by taxi because he thought we were having a problem with the fare the taxi driver charged us. The common areas of the hotel were comfortable and beautifully decorated and we enjoyed sitting there working on the computer, watching t.v., having drinks and chatting with other travellers. Wonderful breakfast! One of the employees made me a mate tea one day even though that wasn't a regular part of the breakfast.

We asked for a few tips onnightlife and because it was a Tuesday, the receptionist actually wentout and called a couple of clubs just to make sure they were open!Hotel was clean and nicely designed, lovely attention to detail in our room as well as the main areas.

It was extremely hot when we arrived yet the a/c wasnot turned on until we checked in at about 2:00pm. The room never cooledsatisfactorily during our stay. The room was clean but had only onechair. Tending to luggage was rather difficult with only one chair. Theshower was large and water pressure good but the metal channel holdingthe plate glass door is rather sharp and I cut my foot getting into theshower. The shower could also use a plastic chair as well.
