Review 1：The hotel was clean, quiet and luxurious and our cool room had a lovely balcony view over the garden, dining area and countryside, just as I had requested. We had excellent email communications with Giulia and Martina about possible late arrival. Martina helped us enormously with our trip to Florence etc.

Review 2：We would have liked tea/coffee facilities in our room. Storage space is a little limited. The pool-side items (loungers, umbrellas) were not in a generally good state of repair. Poor selection of English-language programmes on TV & no DVD capability.

Review 8：My daughter and I are touring Italy by bicycle, and she was not liking the climb up to the hotel. But once we got there- just soaked by a quick rain storm, the staff was perfect, and we quickly settled in.

Review 12：Room cleaning is very surfaceal and it is lacking control. The parking is located across a federal road and there is no zebra crossing or any warning of any sort for the drivers on a road with a speed limit of 90 and a sharp hairpin not within 200 meters

Review 13：The restaurant is fantastic great cuisine and staff and reasonable prices. The breakfast was good but could have been more varied. The parking is large and free.

Review 14：Broken waste/ plug to bath therefore couldn't use it. No Wifi was told it was due to us using an iPad!. Although the Internet in the hotel couldn't also connect. Only one chef on kitchen, had to wait over an hour for main course.

Review 15：Clean spacious room. The only waitress in the restaurant ( Saturday evening ) was attentive and efficient.

Review 16：Wi-Fi connection upstairs in the bedroom was fairly limited. It's not in the quietest location as it's bordered by a busy road, but the views over the city and the hills are gorgeous.

Review 17：Staff went out of their way to help you, they were friendly and most spoke very good English! The hotel was lovely, on the small side which was nice as it was intimate and sophisticated.

Review 18：There was not enough cupboard or drawer space in our room although there was plenty of room for some. We did not have a car so you are somewhat stranded as you cannot walk anywhere from the hotel. 15 min taxi to Pistoia town. It is placed in the middle of a zig zag bend and can be noisy with motorbikes at the weekend.

Review 19：The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The food was excellent. The rooms were clean and beds very comfortable. Decent pressure in shower with plenty of hot water. The pool area was lovely and clean.No towel draping allowed on loungers!!

Review 32：At weekend there is, at certain hours, a frequent noise of motorbikes using the hill climb as a race track. This is the fault of Pistoia council and the police who do not understand how to protect and use the beauty of the surrounding countryside to the full to encourage tourism.One only needs to see the monstrosities which the council has allowed to be built which obliterate the hills to understand the mentality/intelligence of the local administration .

Review 34：The airconditioning is operated by a central system. Guests can adjust 2 degrees up and 2 degrees down, so personal preference is limited.

Review 39：What is there not to like from a good hotel and restaurant in the hills just outside Pistoia. It was still off season so we were unable to be outside where there is a pool(presently not operating) and lovely views. The food was very good and well priced including an excellent inclusive breakfast. We used to hotel as a stopover for travel on from Pisa airport and although out of town it was easy to find with Satnav and had handy free parking across the road.
