Reviews for Grotta Giusti Resort Golf & Spa Tuscany
Review 1:I enjoyed the hiking trails, nature, spa, grotto, thermal baths, beautiful surroundings, exquisite meals, excellent service, adequate gymn facility...
Review 2:Unfortunately, we couldn't have good food except at bar.
Review 3:Quiet room and Grotta/thermal cave that we went everyday was excellent. Including pool area all systems for guests are well organized. Shuttle bus service was very convenient.
Review 4:It is very hard to get a drink on the terraces near the little pool or in front of the building. Sometimes it took getting inside and waiting for 10 minutes before we could even order. Once we did service was good en staff friendly but the waiting takes all the fun out of it. Also there is a person playing music on an electric organ (type elevator music) that we cannot imagine anybody likes at all. A shame since we would have loved to enjoy some drinks and company on the terraces more often.
Review 5:The room was clean, staff very friendly, facilities were good.
Review 6:For breakfast, i had to ask for fruitsalade and there were no vegetables. For people who want to eat healthy no much possibilities.
Review 7:It's a very classy hotel. You feel very welcomed when arriving. Everybody is very friendly. Stylish rooms.
Review 8:Slightly pricely. Would bebefit from having wider hot meal choice for breakfast.
Review 9:Spa hotel mainly impressive by its natural location - unique Grotto and thermal pools. Excellent way to spend SPA-type vocation, expecially if having a car and beeing able to go to the nearby Montekattini. Very nice thing - thermal water in the room. Also perfect park for walk and good restaurants nearby.
Review 10:On arrival @ 11pm we asked if food was possible & they kindly made us a ham sandwich each with nothing else available & then charged us €18! Just note it costs Extra for Grotto experience €40pp but with our room package it was €20 each. Room was on the small side which was surprising especially since we had upgraded to this "larger" room.
Review 11:The pool area was lovely. We were there in July & it was not overcrowded. Ambience was great too. Great range of spa treatments too
Review 12:Old fashion evening dinning
Review 13:Thermal waters and spa treatments Reception staff and spa staff were outstanding Liked the pre- arrival email correspondence. Made arrival even more welcoming
Review 14:Smoking area around the hotel and pools.
Review 15:Personnel is wonderful - ready to help and resolve any questions. Our "Thank you very much!" goes to Alessandra, the Front Desk Manager for her patience and readiness to help the guests, the quality of services she provides is the highest.
Review 16:The hotel was very dated and old. The spa wasnt very clean and the people at the spa were a bit creapy. Not for a vacation seems more like a local health retreat. Do not recommend for anyone visiting Tuscanny as it is also quite out of the way from the main towns of Chianti and Florence.
Review 17:Small dog in carrier bag not permitted in dining room. Front desk service very mixed- often quite poor.
Review 18:The evening food was very disappointing and very over priced for what it was.
Review 19:The thermal water and the exclusive area for hotel guests
Review 20:Uniq natural swimming pool
Review 21:Would have liked non dairy at breakfast, sheep milk/rice milk? Also sliced fruit eg. Melon, pineapple etc
Review 22:99% was perfect
Review 23:Nothing
Review 24:Super spa facilities and good food
Review 25:Shuttle schedule was not convinient
Review 26:Relaxation
Review 27:Somehow everytime when we get there they always give us the worst room(as paying 345euros per night)and if we want to change there is alwaysonly the more expensive room left (nd at least you gonna pay 50eurosmore per room ) so we always ending up to pay more to be happy in ourstay here...
Review 28:The water is good nd even with little baby my stay there is always veryrelaxing...sometimes no wifi is even good .!
Review 29:The bedrooms are too close to one another. Only one door separates you from the corridor and all the people passing through. Beds are not that comfortable. All in all, the place could do with a redecoration since the price is very high. The furniture and design is very basic. We paid 350 euros per night plus we were extra charged for an hour in the cave.
Review 30:I liked the location and the cave. It is very peaceful. The receptionist was very helpful. She told us about a great restaurant Gala in Montecantini Alto.
Review 31:Breakfast was monotone and staff was not hospitable.
Review 32:Everything was excellent!!! The special thanks for staff from spa - veryfriendly ad very professionally!
Review 33:Charges for the Spa in a little to high for the possibility to use it regularaly.
Review 34:Fantastic place with a great spa and golf facilities. Running in the morning was great with several options. the cave was out of this world:-)
Review 35:Restaurant not great value for money and should have explored other restaurants in the vicinity earlier.
Review 36:A beautiful grand hotel, very well kept and high standards of cleanliness evident in and around the hotel. Great pools and thermal spas. Didn't have treatments as quite expensive but a good range on offer. Good position for exploring surrounding area.
Review 37:You can easily spend 1000s of euros here, but I was able to have a 5-star experience (never a dull moment) for under 250 euro a day includingeverything. Just be careful when selecting services from the spa menu --that is, if you are one of those people who cares about budgeting andmoney. Otherwise, splurge and treat yourself to everything on the menu. This is the place to do it! Other potentially major problem for"Type A" people: there is no wifi in the spa, the grotto, yourroom, or anywhere other than in the lobby. At first I was annoyed, butthen I realized it would have been rude for me to do my business whileothers were trying to relax. This may be intentional on the hotel'spart, and I strongly advise that they keep things exactly as they arehere. This is one of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World, and afterstaying here I will definitely be a return visitor to this chain.
Review 38:I loved my stay here. I was actually not feeling well from a weeklongbike tour in the rain, and the staff here made sure I got the best ofcare. This is not a place to be overly concerned about petty things --this is a place to indulge and enjoy. The grottos are amazing and beyonddescription. The interior and exterior spas, the staff, the grounds, everything is wonderful and of the highest caliber without being in anyway vulgar or ostentatious. This is not a hotel designed to impress, itis where one goes to relax. And that is what makes this place specialand most impressive.
Review 39:Please, no carpets in rooms (I and many others have asthma). Shirodhara treatment was disappointing as description in brochure is very misleading to say the least.
Review 40:The Grotta, the pools and Swedish massage
Review 41:Landscape, interior, service, food, spa (pools and treatment), hospitality - everything is excellent!
Review 42:Great hotel, good personal, relaxing atmosphere. I will back many times.
Review 43:some rooms is dark and small
Review 44:nice swimingpool with thermal water, close to golf
