Review 1：Would like to have been able to turn on some heating in the evening. As it was air-conditioned, we were unable to turn on heating independently of this.

Review 2：Lovely room. Large bed. Well-cleaned. Asked for a quiet, upper floor room and this is what we got, including being up-graded to junior suite. Friendly staff. Good breakfast choice.

Review 3：I did not have a good night, seemed to be an air conditioning problem. Times for the pool use, we didn't get there early enough as it closed at 7pm, and in the morning a little exercise in it would have been good but it could not be used until 10am.

Review 7：The only thing that isn't working properly is the free WiFi. Any network guru running around with a laptop containing NetStumbler/iStumbler immediately discovers the problem (and the best WiFi spots in the hotel), yet the IT-guy tells the reception staff fairy tales about some storm in Florence. So in short: if you do not come to Italy for internet access, this is the place to be.

Review 11：Lovely hotel and grounds with a really nice pool area. Great variety for breakfast and everything was really fresh. Staff were extremely nice and very helpful. Restaurant was also very good. Very relaxing and peaceful.

Review 12：No wi-fi in the rooms over the 3 days we were there. They said it was being looked at but nothing was ever done about it. The staff didn't seem concerned so in along with many others sat in the lobby to get wi-fi. The room A/C was locked at 26C so we found it too warm for sleeping. The maid didn't clean our room and when I went to the front desk to ask for towels etc. for the next day, although they brought me what I asked for, she wasn't at all apologetic about the mistake. In simply wanted a sincere apology for the oversight.m

Review 14：The pool doesn't open until 10am so couldn't have my planned early morning dip. Restaurant in hotel expensive (2 euro charge per person per course) and not great - although decent if you don't want to go out to eat. Note that "chips" on the side doesn't mean British chips but crisps! Aqua aerobics class 3 times a week in the pool has terrible music to endure if you're out sunbathing but on plus side is good entertainment

Review 15：Lovely Tuscan decor, traditional but not dated. The room and shared areas in good condition, very well kept. Air-conditioned room a godsent in July 37 degrees Celsius! Very helpful receptionist who gave us useful local parking tips. Lots of cool lobby space to get some chill time in. 2 local functions were held in the hotel during our 4-day stay- a bank party and an 18th birthday, nothing disruptive but I thought it was good that the hotel engages the locals as well as tourists.

Review 16：My suite in the villa was beautiful but the best part was the customer service. They went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Anything we needed they offered with a smile from shuttles to bikes. Couldn't have been a better experience.

Review 17：No Internet in room. Double bed is too small (mattress is wide, but no support for it on edges, so you have to sleep in middle of the bed). Breakfast is not up to standard, hotel bar should be better. Pillows on balcony chairs full of water... This is my fourth visit to this hotel in last few years, and probably the last.

Review 19：The pool is open to the public and at weekends is very crowded. Although guests 'have a right' to sun beds and a parasol, they are dished out on a first come basis. Similarly the car park, although very large, is full of day visitors at the weekend and we were unable to park on occasions. One would expect perhaps a reserved area in the car park and around the pool for hotel residents but this is not the case. Also at the weekend there are lots of private functions such as weddings and christening parties which exacerbate the issues. During the week these problems disappear and we wish we had stayed Monday to Friday as our experience was otherwise very enjoyable.

Review 20：We stayed 7 days in a Junior Suite which was spacious and comfortable. The rooms are clean and well presented, although the decor is starting to look a little tired and dated. Staff were helpful and accommodating. The evening meals were good quality and good value. Well located and getting to Florence by rail and visiting other towns was straightforward. Overall it's a good value hotel and well placed. The old centre of Pistoia is also attractive and less touristy than better known towns.

Review 22：We arrived later after a days driving. The restaurant was closed but the staff rustled up some toasted sandwiches and snacks, and made us very welcome. Comfortable room and very pet friendly.

We ate in other locations even though we couldafford the price!It was quite hot and to get the air conditioning on we would have had to pay. This should be included in the room rate like 99% of other hotels.

We had an enforced seven night stay in the Geranio suite due to a back injury that kept us from flying back to the UK. (Fractured spine). We certainly recommend Hotel Villa Cappugi as a fantastic place to stay whilst visiting Pistoia and the surrounding area. Thank you to all of the staff that helped us.

Review 29：The hotel is like a home in Tuscany for us. It's perfectly clean and the area is so quite. The hotel has a shuttle service to and from city center and train station, the shuttle is working very well. The receptionist are perfect. They help passionately and detailed, THANK YOU!

Review 42：Staff didn't mention reservations were needed for dinner on site at the hotel. We were met with a frosty reception. Food was very mediocre for the price - fish overcooked, dishes over salted. Server seemed indifferent and slow to respond when asked for drink refills, etc. On the bright side, when we informed the hotel of the issues they graciously apologized and took care of the meal. They said the kitchen had had a power outage that night. While that doesn't excuse all of the issues perhaps it's worth trying. Hopefully others will have a different experience.

Review 43：Beautiful hotel right between Florence and Lucca which made it very convenient for site seeing. Rooms are very modern with pleasing decor. The pool is large and gorgeous! The breakfast included with your stay was far more than we are used to getting. This place is a great value for the money and we'd stay there again in a heartbeat if we are back in the area.
