Review 1：We would have liked a coffee maker or boiler in the room, otherwise everything absolutely perfect.

Review 4：Wow! This is a very nice place. Sumptious rooms in early 1900 surroundings, all redone. Nice spread for breakfast. Excellent. Two minutes from the downtown area.

Review 5：Air condition did not work. Was very damp. The day we arrived, the ceiling of the room and bathroom was all covered with mold. In fact, they painted it on the first day. The air was so damp that our sheets were wet. We asked to shut it off completely on the second day. There was a large bar with lots of books but it couldn't be used as it was always shut. It seemed that they hardly had any clients, in spite of being tourist season.

Review 6：Large room, very quiet, clean. Good central location for visiting Trieste and the other tourist attraction such as Aquileia, Palmanova etc.

Review 7：Air condition doesn't work properly, we kept it at a regular 23-24°and air was so humid that even the sheets were damp ! We had to ask to shut it off completely.

Review 8：Nice location, very quiet. You need a car to go to restaurants and center of town, but no problem as parking is plenty and easy to find. Very clean and spacious room. Personnel very gentle and informative.

Review 14：Breakfast stewed fried and scrambled egg! They clearly do not do breakfast!! Bar was shut all of the time and when I asked for a whiskey in the minibar this seemed to cause problems! I was served a neat pimms! More lighting in the bedroom and walk in wardrobe would be good I used my torch to check that I had emptied the safe! They also got the bill wrong not as the email confirmation, adjusted when I pointed this out

Review 16：Located in a very nice building, we had the pleasure to visit Trieste and the defence line from the WW1 in Monfalcone. Room was clean and breakfast ok. Parking always available and, in case of need, good restaurants are around.

Review 22：This is an elegant European hotel. It's near Trieste. And we were on the road back to the north so it was a perfect stop along the road. It was a little farther off the beaten path then I imagined but very safe, well appointed, extremely clean, and beautiful to boot... A bit on the modern side. Tomaso was the desk clerk and he recommended the best restaurant we dined among our whole trip. And that was a hidden joy. The breakfast in the morning at the hotel was also wonderful.
