Review 1：It was really a new experience for us, to stay in a former Monastery. They do a great job to transform it to contemporary and well operated hotel with antic details. Thank you, Highly recommend!

Review 2：Located in the outskirts of town, very difficult to find by car. Not a convenient jumping off point for Florence or Pisa. Had wi-fi only one day out of the 3 we were there.

Review 3：Great value. Generous breakfast. The building was a former convent and still retains the ambience and furnishings of a bygone era.

Review 7：As the hotel is a converted convent it can be a little noisy as any noise seems to echo around the corridors. But generally guests are considerate and try to keep noise to a minimum.

Review 12：Lovely setting and very helpful restaurant staff. Had some lovely meals on the terrace. Gluten free options are hard to come by in Italy but available here. Pool ,parking, breakfast, free wifi. Be aware that the pool is open to the public on Sundays .Wine tasting on Sunday with lovely outlook over Pistoia was memorable.

Review 13：the staff was extremely helpful. the restaurant was fantastic. the service, the dinning area romantic, and the food ... complements to the chef. the park around is something out of a romantic novel.

Review 14：The rooms are very small and no comfort at all. Furniture is old and the bed has still the old fashion blankets who contain a lot of dust. In the bathroom is almost no space, you hit your arms against the walls during taking a shower. There is no hot water; they set the water temperature ofthe boiler at 37°C. When the water reach your room it is cold. We booked 4 nights but left already after the first night. We still needed to pay the second night. It looks that they give booking.com customers the poor rooms. If you complain they are willing to show you a better room. I refused and booked a nice big appartment on booking.com.

Review 18：Both pools were out of action, appeared to be a long term issue. No mention of this on the website or when booking. My daughter was rather disappointed as she had really looked forward to the pool. Shower in room couldn't get quite warm enough to be comfortable.

Review 47：We had to leave our passports overnight - this was not explained to usas a rather unfortunate bureaucrat matter but as a rigid requirement.The restaurant was not busy and we were chaperoned by the waiter fromthe foot of the stairs when we came down - he seemed a bit like Eric vonStronheim in the Gloria Swanson movie Sunset Boulevard. The shower doorhad a concertina arrangement and it was a bit tight to fit into.
