Romantik Hotel Villa Margherita sells fast on our site. Villa Margherita overlooks the Brenta River in Mira, a 25-minute bus ride from Venice's historic center. Once a noble residence, this grand villa is surrounded by a large private park.
All rooms are air conditioned and feature satellite TV and a minibar. Most rooms overlook the park, while some have a balcony with a view of the River Brenta.
Ristorante Margherita, a 10-minute walk away, is a great place to sample Italian cuisine and specialties from the Veneto region. Meals are served in the dining hall or out on the terrace with a view of the park. A shuttle service is available upon request.
Local buses to Venice stop right outside the villa, while the nearest Vaporetto (water bus) stop, Fusina, is a 15-minute drive away.

Review 1：The only minor problem is that the maids want to decide if you need toiletries or not....

Review 2：Everything from location, to rooms, the gardens, breakfast, proximity of port and Venice, and most of all the great country along the Brenta river.The young ladies at the reception are very polite and efficient,always responding with a lovely smile.

Review 3：Wonderful Staff. Very nice facilities, but we did not have a long visit to enjoy the surroundings. Good location to catch the public transportation into Venice.

Review 4：The breakfast was bad: old bread, sour butter, a hair in the fruit and improperly cleaned glassware. We sticked to prepackaged jam. One pillow smelled funky. Definitely not 4 stars, unbelievable why it gets high reviews.

Review 6：Fantastic interiors...you really know you are somewhere special..VENICE, Staying outside the city meant we didn't have to lug our luggage in the heat, we were driving. The bus stops outside the hotel so it's a 20 min ride to the grand canal to pick up a taxi. Just remember landmarks so you know when to get off the bus on the way home!

Review 7：The hotel restaurant has been closed. They sent us to the restaurant of their sister hotel nearby. We made the first time on this trip the experiance that the italians forgot how to cook.

Review 8：surprisingly luxurious hotel. we had a suite with a big terrasse for under 200,- extremly clean and tastefull. big garden. very quiet. we have been on the way to florence and did not want to make a stop over in venice. we found ourselfes on the brenta channel. See the fantastic villas and palaces built by palladio and others.

And the interior, garden and breakfast makes the stay so relaxing and comfy that you are not hurry to leave this place at all. Very convenient location - bus stop to Venice just across the road. And really interesting historical villa to visit only 20 meters away from the hotel. A picturesque scenery all around with river and nice restaurants 15 mins walking distance from hotel. Would definitely recommend this place and try to visit other hotels of this chain.

Review 14：Delightful room, quiet location in attractive lagoon area. 100 yards from good local trattoria, so no need to use the "company owned" restaurant about 20 mins walk away.

Review 19：We were accomodated in Villa Franceschi, sister villa of Villa Margharita. Warm and charming interior with anciant peaceful green oasis around. Excellent continental breakfast was served in garden. Good connection with the public transport to center of Venice. Peaceful village around the Villa with couple of restaurants serving nice dishes with much less of a price then in central Venice. We would highly recommend this Villa to those who value theire own time.

Review 21：Clean and up market. The staff were very friendly and a big help when it came to storing our four various mountain bikes as most of the staff ride themselves. Breakfast was very good too.

Review 22：Rooms were rather small with limited natural light. There was very little to do in and around the village. Few quality restaurants around and many closed during the August holidays. Venice was a good 30 minutes by bus.

Review 24：In my opinion they are not very ecological- changing the towels every day without asking you if you need it. In other hotels I stayed there was a sign saying that if you want to change your towel, you should leave it on the floor. If not, let's save the enviroment. I would go for that option- at home I don't change my towel every day. But may be that's what 4star hotel's guests require today. We are not the typical 4 star hotel's people.

Location of the hotel is great, not far from Venice. If you arrive with a car do not worry about parking place, you will find you spot for sure. Review 65：Upon arrival, we were moved to a different hotel, to Villa Franceschi, *****. It was further away from the bus station, but we went with our car anyway. Breakfast was very good, however you had to wait for refill if you come late. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

In the middle of the night, gave up on the air conditioning and opened the window and let in the fresh air and some bugs! Also, the WiFi did not work - we especially chose Villa Margherita because it was advertised as having WiFi in all areas. We need WiFi to run our business on the move. This was disappointing!

Review 71：Good location for getting into Venice. Mira is a pleasant, sleepy spot on the river/canals.

Review 72：The shower was too small and overflowed... our children were separated from us in a different room and were unhappy. It looks nice but the staff were snobby and we were charged for internet, and the rooms were hot. It is beautiful, but more for older couples and not families.

Review 76：The price is a little high, but then again you are staying outside Venice. There are no sidewalks around the hotel so be prepared to brave traffic and wet grass if you plan on the bus. The staff will also direct you to their sister hotel a 5 star for dinner. City transportation in Italy is not exactly simple nor cheap, just drive the car into venice and park in the garage.

Review 77：Villa Mag is by far the best hotel that I have stayed in while in Europe. The staff is excellent, the rooms are emaculate. The overall experience was great. We booked an expanded family room and they gave us 2 double rooms. My wife didn't want to leave the hotel it was very nice.

It took about 25 min to get to Venice. The room and bathroom was clean and the breakfest is good. We also got little fridge.The staff at the reception is nice and helpfull.
