Reviews for Cinisi 89 B&B

Review 1:Graciella did everything possible to help us during our overnight stay for an early morning flight from the airport. This included arranging cheap (€15) airport transfers for our 5.00 check in, and driving us to and from a local restaurant. She also went out of her way to make sure the room was warm for us and to provide a very early breakfast and coffee.

Review 2:The hostess was most gracious although she did not speak English. She arranged to have her husband take us to the airport in the morning. She suggested an amazing restaurant down the street that is not to be missed!

Review 3:Very very nice B & B. The owners made us feel like family. They were very helpful getting us to the airport. Beautiful view of the nearby mountain.

Review 4:The owner was so kind and helpful. She arranged lifts for us with her family to and from town, to and from the restaurant and to the airport . What a lovely experience to end our stay in Sicily!

Review 5:Very close to the airport. Nice & helpful owners. Contact them if you need a lift from the airport. They will come for you for 1/3 of taxi cost.

Review 6:A bit far from Palermo city (30 mns by car) but who care when you can stay with such nice ppl and in a house so beautiful :)

Review 7:We liked everything there. The owners are really nice and helpful. Graciela even went to buy ham and cheese for my parents in law breakfast as they don't eat the traditional Italian sweet breakfast :) You will find everything you need with free drinks and little snacks available. The rooms are big and include a nice bathroom. Perfect if you are looking for a place close to the airport or a base to travel around Palermo region :)

Review 8:Very friendly owners and their family. Excellent location to Palermo Airport. Beautiful big room and bathroom. We were made to feel so welcome and Señora Grace organised a booking for us at a wonderful restaurante in the same road.

Review 9:Grace and her husband were wonderful, and the accommodations were beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. They were great with our kids, and had snacks and drinks available anytime. They also were able to drive us to the airport early in the morning for a nominal fee. I only wish that we had planned to spend a few more nights there!

Review 10:We stayed here for our last night in Sicily after a 10 day road trip. It was the perfect place to end our stay. The house is gorgeous, our room was spacious and clean with terrace overlooking the mountains on one side. Our host was a very friendly and sweet woman who took care of our every need and tolerated our mediocre Italian. Only 20 minutes from the center of Palermo and even closer to the airport. Highly recommended!

Review 11:We had booked here for our first night in Sicily, since our flight got in late evening. It was much further from the airport than we had thought...40 euros in a taxi.

Review 12:Lovely house and friendly owners. Very comfortable accommodation.

Review 13:Helpful and friendly. they took the hassle out of a very early flight. The owners took us to the airport for 10 euro and had breakfast ready for us. Small B and B.

Review 14:Family/staff very helpful, kind and friendly. They drove us to and from airport to drop off rental car, and again for a very early flight in the pouring rain the next morning. Beautiful home, immaculately clean, received welcome tea and cake upon arrival. Across the street from gourmet grocery store and could eat it in the guest kitchen.

Review 15:Comfortable rooms on quiet road on airport side of Cinisi. Garden views to wake up to and a great breakfast provided by welcoming host. Secure gated off street parking. Conad supermarket near end of road to stock up for the self catering leg of our journey.

Review 16:It's at some distance from restaurants, and you would have to walk a long way on a difficult road, but their lifts solved this problem and found us a good restaurant.

Review 17:Very comfortable and clean house. Large ensuite room. Great help with lift to and from local restaurant in the evening, and to airport in the morning. Good tip: always ring them for a car when you get to the airport. They'll be cheaper than the airport's own taxi service.

Review 18:We stayed at this cozy family run B&B for the location near Palermo Airport. Loved the family hosts and the room. The family was very welcoming, hospitable, and interested in helping us get settled. The artistic father designed and built all the iron gates, railings and art pieces. A must stay in Cinisi.

Review 19:This B&B is for people looking to experience true Sicilian culture. Set in a garden of orange and lemon trees, in a village untouched by tourism, a lovely, lively and very friendly Sicilian community. The hosts really love people, it's not operated as a business , it's like staying in the home of a Sicilian family, where you get to experience the culture, the food, the language and the world famous Sicilian hospitality. My husband and I visited Sicily to celebrate our wedding anniversary and took our two young children, ages 1 and 3. The Sicilian children of the family were very welcoming and played with our children nearly every day outside in the secure garden. My children are speaking basic Italian after just a week staying here because the Sicilian children could speak no English! Fantastic location, fantastic welcome, amazing food, amazing people (in the whole village) and lovely room with kitchen, bathroom and large west facing balcony (the sunsets and scenery are heavenly! ). We will be staying here again and hope to stay in touch with the owner, who wenow cconsider a family friend.

Review 20:It is not so close to the airport. Don’t use taxi drivers at the airport. It costs 40Euro. You should ask the owner to pick you up.

Review 21:The place is very nice and clean. The home-made cake for breakfast is fantastic! The owner is very kind, friendly and hospitable. It was very kind of her to drive us to the nearest station even though we asked her at short notice.

Review 22:I didn't like Booking.com's listing for this B&B because it said "1 room left at this rate" which gave some urgency to book it before all the rooms were gone. In fact, I'm quite sure we were the only ones present besides the family who also live there.

Review 23:We stayed here, as others have, because it is close to the airport and we had to catch a morning flight. But I think it would also be a good location in summer for the proximity to beaches. Relatively easy to find, nice, modern room, large, clean. Breakfast was typical except there were very nice crescents. Staff very helpful and worked with the language barrier so that they understood our needs.

Review 24:Lovely accommodation, very friendly helpful owners Great location close to large Conad Supermarket, local train station to Palermo a 5 min drive (not walk-able) But slow train 1hr to Palermo. Airport close by.

Review 25:Since we didn't have a meal while in Cinisi, I'm not sure what is available nearby for dining.

Review 26:We stayed one night before our early morning departure. The room we had was very clean and comfortable. Pippo and Grace were "in charge" while Gaeto was away, and they were charming! We opted for a ride after returning the rental car, as well as to the airport early the next morning. We were charged a fair fee of 15 euro each ride -- much fairer than 45 for a taxi! We would stay here again and recommend it to other travelers.

Review 27:Only that we had chosen to stay a single night before returning home! Wish we'd been there longer

Review 28:The house is splendid; lovely to have a large balcony; nice breakfast; very warm welcome and great help during our short stay from the proprietors; convenient airport transfer, plus hire car drop off; restaurant recommendation; total comfort and relaxation

Review 29:I loved the house itself for its architecture and the artistic pieces its contains created by the owner himself. The hospitality was wonderful. Although my sister and I were staying for one night only, both owners treated us as we were staying for many days. They introduced us to friends, lovely food, and even drove us to our car rental company as well as to/back from a local restaurant. I would highly recommend you to stay there not only just for a night or two but even for longer as the seaside is easily accessible with the bikes made available.

Review 30:Our stay was absolutely perfect in this charming B&B, which is very close to the airport. Not only is it a very beautiful guesthouse, the hospitality was so nice. Gaetano was very helpful with providing us important information when we needed it and the family gave us a warm welcome. Our room was large and very comfortable with lovely furnishings and beautiful artwork. I would highly recommend a stay at Cinisi 89.

Review 31:nothing, absolutely perfect

Review 32:had a great stay there, we arrived really late at night (actually 02.30 in the morning) Gato was waiting for us and we could sleep long next day. we did not have to check out in the morning and could also have a late and long breakfast. We also got some bottels of water for freewe did not have to make prepayment. Gato arranged shuttle transport to airport next day and also gave us some tips what to see and what to visit. House is a bit old and equipment not modern, but it had it's own charme and we liked it a lot. Our night there was short but really great.

Review 33:Airport taxi drivers are to be avoided at all costs they will rip youoff massively. Charged 40 euros for a 10minute drive. Do not use them.Call the owners instead and you will be picked up free of charge

Review 34:The place is a very nice, family run establishment the room is spaciousand the owners are very friendly and hospitable. However make sure youcall the owners if you don't have a car and require airport pick upto and from the b and B.
