Review 5：beds are too hard in comparison to other hotels. get the mini supermarket moved out of that side street to the hotel. All nine bedrooms on that side are woken up at 6am by staff opening the shop doors and dustbins being cleared. This must be a regular complaint from what is really a three star hotel because of lack of four facilities. To swim in the sea you have to cross a road from the hotel......

Review 19：In June, it was possible to leave the car in the road in front of the hotel. Later in the season it will be less easy to drive through the very narrow streets in the town and find somewhere to park.

Review 32：Having travelled to mainland Italy over thirty times the lack of a variety of food in this area was was a big let down. If you like sea food not a problem, but everything was sea food or with some form of sea food with it or pizza's. The meatdishes were not great and even if you managed a pasta with tomato sauce it was very bland, no onion or garlic in a poor sauce. There were not many shops although there is a large Inter Spar supermarket with good stocks of pasta and sauces which we could not get in the restaurants we visited. Hotel cleaners were not so good on one occasion just changing top sheet on bed, leaving overflowing waste bin and leaving no toilet rolls. Big problem loud slamming of doors by other guests even late at night the hotel really need to address this. Do not visit in peak season since there can be up to 60,000 people visiting which must be a nightmare for such a small town.

Location was superb with the sea just over the road and excellent long sandy beach. Loved the town and the area especially inspector Montalbano filming locations near by.Hotel was very relaxing and a really good swimming pool.People were very pleasant and helpful in the town. Very relaxing town and hotel. The town was very clean as we're all the towns we visited. You need a car to explore Ragusa, Ragusa Ibla , Scicli and other Unesco World heritage sites.

Review 34：My only quibble was that it is a bit noisy. Bedroom doors bang and hard floors make sounds reverberate. But the rooms and beds are good and it is very clean.

Review 45：We liked everything, I can only suggest to the owners to change the mini bar in the room 107 which we stayed in because the water and minerals were never cold, even when we left the key in so the electricity would stay on in the room. Other than that everything was perfect.

Review 46：Our room was very clean, even though we didn't have the 'sea view' it was not needed as the sea is just across the road. The hotel is located right in the heart of Marina di Ragusa, we didn't have transport so it was ideal. Staff were absolutely lovely, so friendly and helpful. A special thanks to Luca, Idola and Cathia for making our holiday so relaxed and special. Also to the ladies that served us breakfast every morning they were so nice too. We really felt at home.

Hair dryer wrongly positioned - but I just dislike the wall fixed ones anyway. Synthetic juice for breakfast - I think there are a few oranges in Sicily?! and tepid coffee, but coffee was cold all over Sicily not just here.

Review 109：Location was superb, a seaside retreat near many tourist destinations, but a haven from tourist hoards. Beautifully comfortable well appointed room and balcony. Excellent bed and linen. Wifi. We had 1 restaurant meal that was good, although restaurant is not at all cosy and has institutional air, it was sparsely attended when we went, although heaving on Sat night! I'm not sure what Sicilian atmosphere would be, this good hotel could really be in any country but having all the locals around helped. All staff were friendly and helpful. We felt really contented and relaxed here, whilst 'doing' the Montalbano sights. With a few tweaks it would be perfect.

Review 111：Nice modern rooms and very comfortable bed. Right next to the beach and in the center of Marina di Ragusa. Breakfast very good and varied. We even got free towels for the beach every day!

Review 112：The continental breakfast was quite limited. On the only full day we had at the hotel we were awoken at 07.50 by men power hosing down the terrace and sun beds directly outside of our room. This went on until 16.00. It was very noisy and stopped us from enjoying the sun. No WiFi in hotel rooms. Very limited English TV channels.

Review 120：The hotel advertises the fact that it has a bar but it doesn't. There is a restaurant in which I attempted to have a beer. I explained that I didn't want to eat but I would like to have a drink. The waiter said that wasn't possible and seemed intent on preventing me from entering. When he realised that I was a guest, he relented and said that I could buy a beer and take it to my room. I didn't see the point of this as there was a minibar in the room. I decided not to use the restaurant and the hotel lost my custom.

Review 121：Very modern, comfortable and clean. I was upgraded to a partial sea-view room. The seafront terrace was a great place to soak up the sun and people watch.

Review 122：The place seems like to be built in the 70ies, still in that old style,it's way too expensive for what it offers (awful dining room,entrance, pool with a painted palm tree behind it, etc. ...); on top ofthe expensive room you have to pay Internet connection etc etc... Iwould call it a tourist trap. It's very simple and corresponds tonot more than a two star place. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Review 123：THe crew was quite nice and welcoming, and the place was quite clean.It is on the seaside as promised on the website; but it corresponds toa 2 star hotel and not 4 in any case. It's not at all a four starhotel. Those who have travelled once outside Marina di Ragusa caneasily confirm.

The Fine Print

The restaurant is closed until 28 January 2016 and will reopen on 29 January for dinner. The swimming pool is open from May to October.The Shuttle Service is subject to a surcharge.Guests reaching the property by car and using a GPS device should set it at Via S. Citelli 1 in order to reach the property and drop their luggage. Lungomare Andrea Doria 42/44, which is where the property is set, is a pedestrian-only area.
