Review 1：2 staff in particular were fantastic Alessandro and Simone ,cheerful helpful full of Sicilian hospitality.i won't mention a couple of minor issues because they were taken care of. Thank you for a nice stay

Review 2：Antica Stazione is located in rolling hills outside Ragusa; a picturesque location. The buildings have been recently (and beautifully) restored. Everyone was helpful and pleasant; the area is quiet and beautiful; and the food was very good. It provided a charming and relaxing respite.

Review 3：The four breakfast cereal options were mostly high in sugar (maybe aimed at kids). A healthy cereal option (e.g. muesli or similar) would have been preferred. Facilities; 3/5. Air conditioning (windows need to be closed for it to switch on, this wasn't explained at check-in), satellite TV (can't be used from the bed, must aim it at the set top box from the far side/back), wifi (quite slow in room) 'Shuttle Service (Free)' & 'Shuttle Service (Surcharge)' is listed in the hotel's facilities list. We were not offered a free shuttle service. We availed of a payed service ( a lift in the hotel owner's private car). Fees were; €15 per person return between airport & hotel (a local taxi I believe would have been €25 each way), €10 return for 2 from hotel to village. So overall great value. It was great to have the shuttle/lift option (we had no car) but I think the hotel should have a set price list for this as it felt like the prices were just decided on the spot. Still, I'm very grateful of the service, the fees just could be more transparent especially as its advertised as a facility. We didn't eat at the hotel restaurant so can't comment but we skipped it based on reading mixed reviews regarding service & quality.

Review 4：Location; 3/5. 3km outside of Chiarmonte Gulfi village. You need a car but if you don't have one then the staff offer lifts for a reasonable fee. The village is very nice around Piazza Duomo. Tip: make a lunch and/or dinner reservation at Ristorante Majore just off Piazza Duomo (highly recommended). Accommodation; 4/5. Very nicely decorated hotel & rooms, comfortable room & beds. A little noisy during our one night there (the hotel was busy & our room overlooked the garden/entrance where kids were up late until after midnight playing/crying outside). Breakfast; good varied selection, plenty of choice including fresh orange juice. Hospitality; 4/5. Warm, helpful & friendly owner/manager Simone, good English. Husband Massimo has very limited English but was helpful & friendly. Other staff were good too. Value; good value overall. I would stay here again & I would recommend it to anyone, preferably if you have a car.

Review 5：Very friendly welcome when we arrived late. Fantastic restaurant and all staff went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Great value for money.

Review 7：We arrived and found that inexplicably the reservation had been cancelled. We were in luck, though, as the manager found us an even better room in a seperate building seconds from the hotel itself but still part of the place. The restaurant was excellent, and 'good value.' Contrary to other reviews, the staff here speak perfect English. Great scenery yet still accessible. Hope to return in September (from Dublin).

Review 8：The staff was very helpful and friendly, with good English skills to supplement our wobbly Italian. Very good selection of Sicilian wines and good food. My friend rated her salmon scented with fresh orange as one of the highlights of our trip. Loved the fresh blood-orange juice for breakfast.

Review 9：This is a perfect place to stay when you visit Ragusa and Modica: only 10 km away from Ragusa (just outside Chiaramonte Gulfi on the road to Ragusa). Quiet place, clean. Family-operated, gentle people. Excellent dishes in restaurant/pizzeria with flavours from Sicily; decently priced. A lot better than the places in Ragusa and Modica that we went to....

Manageress came & had a long chat with us & gave uslots of useful information about local walks. Breakfast was alsoexcellent. Would have liked to stay longer, will visit again.
