Review 1：We were put in a top floor room even though hotel was empty and with no lift it made it difficult to get bags to room , tea and coffee facilities would have been nice , lovely sitting area outside room but air con didn't work so too hot to sit there , chap on reception gave us wrong directions to the restaurant so took ages to find any where to eat an was late at night too

Review 4：the setting overlooking the canal in the old village of Mira Porte is atmospheric, and there are several reasonable restaurants in walking distance. The prices are much cheaper than Venice, and the buses into Venice and Padua are regular and take just 30-40 minutes.

Review 31：The location in Mira Porte, between Venice and Padua - a great base for visiting both cities, half an hour's bus ride away along the Brenta river lined with Palladian villas. An old coaching inn, the hotel has character and is in easy walking distance of good family restaurants. Cheaper than Venice, and much more peaceful.

Review 32：Out of the way & local taxi firms operate an expensive monopoly. For atrip of two km the minimum fare was €30. For that reason alone I wouldprobably not stay there again. If the hotel could sort out a reasonablyprice taxi service I would stay again.If not it would be cheaper to stay in a more expensive hotel nearer venice

Review 34：Small fridge was very weak and old style tv had loose connections whichmeant sound could drop out whenever there was movement in the room.Staff were reluctant to treat these problems seriously but eventuallydid offer to store our cold drinks in their bar fridge. Includedbreakfast was very sparse & some of the food was old/stale.

Review 36：Great breakfast, nice location, but you need to catch a bus to get to Venice. About a 1/2 hr ride, definitely the best way to go. The earthquake was a little bit scary, but not really their fault, :o)

Review 38：A fine 4 star "small hotel with a wishing-well..." type place. in a 16th cen. architecturally-significant villa. My large room had three windows overlooking the river and fine quality furniture, even a small refrigerator. Modern bathroom and good heat. The management and staff were most obliging and kind. I recommnend the larger recently-renovated rooms which were expensively and tastefully updated to modern standards.
